I had my eyebrows waxed and not only was it the most painful waxing I've had, I ended up with bad scars all around my eyes which now have to be treated with topical antibiotics. This review is literally minutes after I tried this place. I was looking for a backup threading place because the therapist at my go-to place at Korea Town is only doing 2 days a week now and our schedules were not matching so I looked up the most reviewed high rated place within my neighborhood. This was it. I went in with an open mind. Was initially looking for Samira given all the raves about her but was then told she was still tied up waxing so I agreed and went with Param given we got to talking about India and my business trips there and it was some nice chat. Param was good and technically, she just really cleaned up my eyebrow strays for maintenance. And then I had to pay, this time I meet Samira and asked her if she was Samira and she said yes, told her she has good reviews. My total bill was $12 so I handed over a $20 bill then asking for one dollar bills to tip Param. I always give 20% of total service and sometimes even more, depending on what I had done. So Samira hands me over a $5 then directly gives three $1 bills to Param. I was surprised, no one ever pulled this trick on me. By the time I looked at her, she's like, "It's for her, right?" At this point I don't even say anything and quietly left. That move to not even allow the person get her change and directly give it to the other person is appalling. This is clearly not about the money. Samira's gesture was just rude and offensive. Will I go back again? Yup, you pretty much guessed it. P.S I'm never a fan of writing negative reviews but when the situation calls for it and an establishment needs to be aware of what's going on to hopefully correct themselves and improve, I leave a review. I've been trying to find a good waxing place close enough to where I work. I decided to look on Groupon (you know try and save some money and be able to judge if the service is/isn't great). I called maybe 4 hours before setting my appointment at 5:30. I arrived on time but someone else was still being taken care of. I was in a bit of a rush but I was willing to wait. After waiting about 10 minutes the room was cleaned and I was allowed to go into the room. First negative thing was there was no place to put my jacket & purse. I understand the room is small but it doesn't cost much to invest on a hook for the door. I get in undressed and I lay down. I'm in the room for about a good 5 -7 minutes and the women had not entered into the room. I get re dressed and step out to see what's going on and the woman who is supposed to be doing my wax is taking care of another customers ( who arrived after me ) eyebrows( which makes me extremely upset). She sees that I'm upset and tells me she'll be with me in a few minutes but I having something else to do decide to leave. I can't review the physical service they provide but customer service wise they are terrible. What's the point of setting an appointment and arriving on time? One star because my eyebrows turned out great, however, my eyelash extensions are atrocious. They did a sloppy job with the application and left glue dotted along my lash line as well as my eye lid. The worst service I've EVER had. Eyelash extensions glued my eyelashes stuck together, could visibly see clumps of glue, did not use eye pads beneath my eye to protect my bottom lashes - when I said it was stinging she told me to leave my eyes OPEN while she glued them on. The worst and most painful unprofessional & tacky Brazilian experience I had. THEY DO NOT OFFER "SUGARING". They wax and add sugar to the wax, if that's even true. Once she put the hot wax on me and laid the strip on me, I knew it wasn't sugaring and they lied to me about their services over the phone and when I asked again at the desk before I went into the room. I'm used to a 20-30'minute process with real sugaring and this took a painful hour of her ripping my skin because she couldn't get the hair. Yet, I still left with wax and a sticky feeling after she "cleaned" me up. AND during the cleaning she put some aloe Vera on me that burned liked icy hot! I WILL NEVER return to this place or the chain for that matter. If you are looking for real sugaring , they do not offer it and the waxing was horrible, 6 hours later it still feels like I'm actually cut and my skin is red and irritated. read more

One of my friends raved about this place, I bought a groupon called spoke with someone over the phone about it being my first time having a Brazilian. I asked many questions being a newbie if I should prepare by trimming etc. With that being said this was by far one of the most painful experiences I've ever had! I was waxed by a young woman whom never greeted me, didn't explain what she would be doing nor did she prepare me or tell me how to breathe. She tells me take off my clothing lay back started putting semi hot wax on me then rips off my hair! What should've been maybe 20-30 minutes took an hour to do. Midway through my waxing this woman pulls out a pair of scissors that I'm not sure if they were sterilized, starts trimming my hairs without permission. I asked her why she tells me my hairs to long. I then explain whomever I had spoken to told me not to trim beforehand she then exits the room another woman comes in and takes over waxing me. She went over the same areas 3-4x's by this time my skin was extremely irritated and peeling in some areas, I wish I could give this place a zero. The lack of professionalism and customer service is ridiculous! I never give reviews nor do I like to leave negative comments but this place is ridiculous. Then the woman hounds me to redeem the groupon I should've walked out without paying two days later I'm still irritated they never cleaned me before the waxing or after wax was still stuck inside between my lips! Had a comfortable and quick Brazilian wax experience here after Sally took her time with my session. She performed a chocolate wax while making calmly small talk. The room is quite small but clean and most importantly, there is NO DOUBLE DIPPING here! First off this picture was taken over a year ago which i paid $30 for and was not much of a difference of what i was given today. I've been coming to this shop ever so often since 2017. They're lash extension service has ALWAYS been $30, natural or full. Today I went and got a full set of medium lashes and was told AFTER the service that it cost $55. The price on their board says $30, when I picked out which lashes I wanted I was not told there was an extra $25 fee. I feel that was a bit unprofessional and was very much annoyed. The customer should be informed of any raise in prices from the board prices before they get their service! The lady who did my lashes said i could pay $45 but now I feel like I should've paid $30 regardless due to the negligence of giving the "correct" price before my lashes were done. These girls were different from the ones I usually see there, idk if it was because it's the weekend but although the girls were kind throughout their service, I am very disappointed and I honestly don't think I'll be coming here again. read more
