Horrible service. I had clearly stated my preferences before starting for my eyebrows and the Indian lady, I didn't get her name dismissed all of it and cut so much of one brow and made them completely uneven. I should've not taken the chance but this is the sign for another person. As well when paying, the lady clicked to tip herself 15% of my mother's credit card thinking she wouldn't notice as a Spanish speaking woman. She also ignored my comments at the end of my brows to see if she could even them out, she did a sloppy job and was resisting in doing any chances for clients to be pleased. disappointed with the service and humanity. read more

Got eyebrow and upper lip threading here. Waited ~20 min at 12:30pm on a Saturday for two ppl to be done before me. The woman who did my threading was very fast and it was relatively painless but I didn't get any after treatment and I don't feel like I got enough time to look at myself in the mirror and ask for any adjustments. After she finished she just walked away to the counter. I felt rushed to wipe off the hairs on my face so I could meet her there and pay. $33 after tax and (20%) tip which is more expensive than I ever paid for threading. When I got home, I saw some hairs she missed and the top line of my right brow was a little messy. Overall an okay job but not worth the price. Located in gilroy outlets. I asked for brow thread and to my amazement the gal did it quickly and rather painlessly! When I arrived home I quickly noticed one eyebrow was barely touched! I completed the job from home. I believe this may have not happened this way if the shop had more than a one person threading! There literally was at least six of us waiting. The Lady was just trying to process everyone as quickly as possible all the while leaving customers with poor results. Please get someone in their to help her out! read more

I've been trying to fix my eyebrows for over a month since I've gotten them done here, and they're still terrible. The lady left me with one eyebrow higher than the other, some bald spots, and she left Hair still above and underneath my eyebrow I wish I never went. I don't recommend going if you don't have extremely thick boxy eyebrows. read more

I guess this place has gotten to be okay. I have noticed how unsanitary it actually is. Now I'm not a huge germaphobe but the woman working never washes her hands in between people. I wouldn't usually care but because she's touching everyone's face, I do care. Her hands sometimes smell like food and sometimes really strong and it's kind of gross.. The wait time gets to be pretty long, I'm not entirely sure why there's multiple chairs to sit in, when she puts everyone in the exact same one and the other ones collect dust. Another thing is there is a little boy probably around 8 years old, who runs around and gets very touchy. I'm assuming this is her son? But I don't really like having my keys and other belongings played with and it made to be "okay" because it's her kid. I do like coming here and that may be just because I don't know any other good places for threading, but there's just some things that need improving. read more

I am so upset with my service this evening. I went in for eyebrow and lip threading. I was the only customer in the building & I was in the chair for 1.5 min. I have been growing out my brows for a while so there was a lot of work to do. She completely missed the middle of my eyebrows & when she got to lip it was two threads on each side. I had to come home and fix everything myself. And I was looking in the mirror and she went to grab it from me before I could say anything. I was over it, I didn't want someone who wasn't willing to do a good job to work on my face the day before Thanksgiving. read more

Do not come here!! I had my brows and lip threaded today. What a nightmare. The lady that did my threading today had long hair...I didn't ask for her name. My eyebrows are microbladed. I only require a cleanup under and above my brow line. When I could feel the girl threading close to my brow line, I reminded her that I just wanted a clean up. She said ok. I kept telling her, then the owner's sister came over, and she finished my brows up. I told the owner's sister that I only wanted a cleanup on my brows. She said something to the girl that originally did my brows what I said in their language. At the end, when she handed me the hand mirror to see my brows, I wanted to scream. The girl had threaded all of the hair on the ends of both my left and right eyebrows. I knew it! They charge $28 for brow and lip. $18 for brows and $10 for lip- what a rip off! They are robbing people that don't know any better. I said that I shouldn't be charged full price for the service. The owner's sister only took off $8 dollars. She shouldn't have charged me at all for my eyebrows. She even had the nerve to say, next time..I cut her off and said - I will not be coming back here ever again!! Do yourself a favor and save your money and aggravation and go somewhere else! This is not the place! read more

I hate leaving negative reviews, but this needs to be said as I don't want the same experience for others. I went in for upper lip threading today and was extremely disappointed. Note that Urmi was not in today - the person who was running the salon was her sister. 1) She did not wash her hands after her last appointment and mine. She claimed she sanitized them, but this was a blatant lie as she came to me straight after ringing up the last customer. 2) The pricing card says $8 for upper lip and she charged me $10 for "having more hair." I had last gotten my upper lip done just two weeks before and was here for a touch up, so this was a complete reach. When I expressed this to her, she crossed her arms and stared at me blankly like "so what" This place is an unhygienic scam. Don't come here if you value your health / want to feel valued as a customer. read more

Came here for the first time and there was not a lot of people. However she was rushing each person and the way she talked to me and handled my situation was terrible. She was rude and lost her patience really quickly. Even after I tried explaining nicely she did not handle the situation well. Terrible customer service. I spent $75 for a membership not realizing they put an expiration date on the card, my eyebrows take a while to out grow so I was surprised when I went In today for them to tell me it was expired and I only used my card twice! Very upsetting be aware of the membership expiration date. She said I should have known how long my eyebrows should take to grow. She wouldn't help me. Completely UNEVEN brows and horrible attitude. A young Indian lady with long hair did my brows today and one is literally half the width of the other. How it can be that bad is beyond me... What's worse, when I mentioned this, I had no response..just a big smile and eyes that were lost. I politely asked if she agreed with me and she just shrugged and said that "it's not always like that." The way this happened made me quite upset..no apology, nothing..I just need to wait for 2 months for the brows to grow (for me it's always a slow process). I've had unevenly done work before, but never to this extent..there is literally one hair on one of them width-wise...Never ever am I going back and I strongly urge you to find another place. read more

I've been getting my lashes done by Pooja for over a year. I started because I had a big interview in the city and wanted to look professional and confident! Pooja delivered and I was hooked ever since. One time I had had a new set on for about two weeks...my ophthalmologist thought I was using LATISSE....that's how natural they looked and the ones I use are 14's. I live in Salinas and have had my lashes done in other parts of the country when traveling for business....and they never last as long as when I get them done here! So so experience...got my eyebrows done,came out pretty good..I decided to get my cheeks done because I thought I'd treat myself from doing my normal wax at home.."thought" my hair was gone until I drove off and noticed some patches, so I went back and the lady told me that it wasnt part of my cheek..she basically did my jaw line and a little above that...felt like a dude getting a shave..$30 later for eyebrows and "cheeks" I'll be waxing the rest of my cheeks tonight..she was nice dont get me wrong,but I wont be coming back. read more

I usually dont write reviews but this place really deserves it. If I could give negative stars I really would. I went in to get a Henna this past week I went kinda late close to closing time. I was so excited since this was my first time getting one done. To begin with the lady was rude I got there 15 mins before closing and she said "If it takes to long I wont do it you will need to come back another day" I showed her the one I wanted and she said Okay. When she began to do it she was doing it to fast and the lines weren't looking even AT ALL. I Understand that no one is perfect at doing Henna but it looked like she just wanted to leave and finish as soon as she could. When she finished she was hurrying me up to pay her. As I walked out I noticed her grabing her purse and keys ready to close when there was still time. She could have done a much better job if she had only taken a little but more time. Just started coming here for threading. The old place I used to go to closed. I was hesitant as I thought it was a chain in the outlets. She's a local Gilroy business owner and has been in town for 5 years. I love threading but don't get me wrong...it hurt! But not here!! She has such a "soft hand" that it doesn't hurt at all. I can't believe it. Beauty without pain ;-). The hours are super convenient as they are the same as all the other outlet stores. Ask about the membership. Well worth it!! read more
