I have been a patient at Blair Medical for about 10 years and during that time the two ladies at the front desk have not once been nice or accommodating. When walking into the office they not once have greeted me, as well as, I have stood at their window on several occasions for well over 5 minutes before one of them even offered to help me. It is such a shame to see the professionalism of the medical staff be completely diminished by their receptionists. I don't know why they do not let these two individuals go. Needless to say I am no longer a patient at Blair Medical and the sole reason is their rude, unprofessional, front desk receptionist. They need a lesson in customer service!!!

The secretary, Lisa is very down to earth and has your best interest at the top of the list. The dental assistants/ hygienists are very nice and go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure you are comfortable. They also do an awesome job with special needs children. I would highly recommend Dr. Rawa to everyone who wants great work and great people to work with you and your dental needs. I used to be very, very skeptical of dentists, but no more. I now drive over an hour to see Dr. Rawa and it is well worth every mile to get such a great dentist and quality work done as well.

He took the time to listen, explain, and adjust the therapy based on my needs--and it worked. If you're searching for a physical therapist, stop looking and go see Dr. Hughes first. He's simply one of the best. Wishing him all the best as he pursues his guide certification at Gettysburg--something that I'm sure will be just as successful as his work in the clinic. -- Tom D.

I had seen more rheumatologists than I could count. Most days I couldn't get out of bed. By chance I stumbled upon Dr. Alan Kivitz and my life began to improve. He is the one who, with much trial and error, correctly diagnosed me with Lupus and I now take monthly infusions of a drug called Saphnelo. I credit Dr. Kivitz with saving my life because for many years I no longer wanted to live. Many who know me say they can't even tell I have Lupus as the drug is doing wonders. One word of caution: If you are looking for a doctor who holds your hand, speaks of unicorns and rainbows, and generally spends an hour on trivialities, this guy is not it. However if you're looking for a doctor who has been published in the New England Journal of Medicine, owns his own practice (with over 100 staff), has been in practice for over 40 years, and is committed to finding an effective treatment for everyone he sees, then you need to book an appointment with Dr. Kivitz immediately. Staff offended when ask their name or position. Staff sitting around eating chips and drinking. Did not see one staff member/provider washing hands or practicing good hand hygiene. No gloves. Did see Angie, PA one visit and she was very thorough. Dr. Kivitz needs to focus first on his patient's care, then ask patient if they are interested in helping him with his research. His behavior is inappropriate and basically just rude. Please take my review to heart and find another doctor. As a health care professional myself, I would not recommend Dr. Kivitz.
