With someone who was born with horrible teeth, it can be a terrible experience, each and every time I am sitting on the dentist chair. I discovered Dr. Walkers office and I couldn't have been more pleased. The office staff and Dr. Walker are the nicest, funniest, and most calming people I've ever met in a dentist's office before. Not only do they understood my angst for the profession, but actually made me feel relaxed and gave me a simple explanations of how I was going to be fine.. The dentist? The big man himself is amazing. I had several appointments through the years, regular cleanings and then some dreaded maintance and they couldn't have been more of a joy to work with. Dr. Walker was the nicest man who took his time understanding my needs (and wants) and also was able to work on my teeth in a way that did not frighten me. I may be well into adulthood now, but childhood nightmares still haunt me in those offices. He was caring, never pushy, and I can't believe I'm saying this .. a dentist I enjoy seeing. The patience and kindness that he exhibited with my son was irreplaceable. We have been loyal to Dr. Walker ever since. Going to the dentist is never a present experience. Throughout the years, Dr. Ray has only made this experience worse. Starting with his demeanor, let's call it... Less than friendly. He does not make you feel welcome. The last time I was there he did not even say hello to me. I'm serious, I took note of it. And, whatever. I could overlook this. I don't care if you aren't nice to me if you're good at your job. If he didn't mess my teeth up (worse than they are) and pull on the outside of my mouth with a metal instrument so hard that it rubbed the skin off and started bleeding. I was getting a cavity filled and my face was being yanked way more than normal, I couldn't feel anything because I was numb. He was actually driving his metal instrument into my face, grinding the skin off of it. I mean, I get not saying hi, but taking it a little too far maybe? I included pictures. Cavities he's done on me have broken within two years or turned into abscesses that need expensive root canals. The last straw was when he did a cavity and it became infected within two weeks (I'm honestly not exaggerating). There are much better dentists in Greensburg. Especially if you don't want to end up with your face bleeding, looking like you have a reverse cold sore.

He does very good work…read more When I had cavities filled he made sure to smooth down the rough edges of the filled teeth and the rough fillings until they felt as smooth as regular teeth. If there is an issue, ie, if a cavity is deep and someone may need a root canal, he makes sure to explain the situation to the patient so they are not in the dark. I never had such a kind, skilled and thorough dentist since before since my old dentist retired. I really appreciate the staff too, they are like him.
