While I would agree that he has the technical knowledge and skill to solve most dental problems presented to him, there is much to be desired in his personal attitude towards the persons with whom he's dealing. For just one example, when he mentioned something about a particular filling being more prone to failing, I asked why in genuine curiousity and interest (not in a challenging way) and his reply was "Well, that's more science than you need to know." He offered no explanation for why I was having the difficulties I was, no suggestion of how I may avoid the problem later, no description of the benefit of the prescription he was offering, etc. In other words, he treats us, the *customers*, as children who can't, won't, or shouldn't understand what is happening with our own dental health. To add insult to injury (or insult to insult, I guess) we have to pay for this kind of attitude. Yes, he has dentistry skills. But you know what? There's alot of dentists in this area who do, and I don't have to pay my money for a dose of arrogance and attitude to get someone with those skills. read more
