Huge space if you want to drop in and sit - both indoor and outdoor! The coffee is amazing - we had two pour overs and the quality was top notch. We ended up chatting with one of the baristas towards the end of our visit and Bought some beans - he was super knowledgeable and very friendly - great conversation on the different ways to brew coffee. Highly recommend checking them out!

Took a day trip from Jacksonville to Savannah and stumbled upon this coffee shop. I love that it's a bit tucked away from the center of town and has more locals than tourists. The location is in a spot that looks like a warehouse so it has a neat vibe, tall ceilings, lots of natural light. I like the decor and style of the brand; it's bright pink and inviting. I ordered a lavender latte and a strawberry scone. Both were delicious but the scone was incredible. It was crumbly, not overly sweet and had a perfect strawberry flavor. Staff were nice and helped make recommendations. Would visit again.

This coffee shop has some of the best coffee I've ever had. Starting off, their menu is not big, and that's a great thing. Each of their items are so unique, you don't need many options. I didn't expect "habanero sugar" to work in a coffee, but I didn't sense any spice. It seemed to just add depth to the latte. So don't let that turn you off from trying anything. The coffee was rich and flavorful, rather sweet but the flavors somehow balanced it out in a shocking way. Sampling the espresso from the top of the latte before mixing it in just proved how great it was. I never have enjoyed espresso straight because I find the acidic twist to be distasteful, but there was no acidity to be found in their roast. It was incredible. We got the "My Morning Jacket" and will be going back tomorrow to try more of what they have to offer. They have non-coffee options, oat milk, insanely delicious-sounding food options, and their own coffee beans that they roast in house. They sell them whole or will grind it for you. Sitting in there and working while drinking coffee would be a dream. They have outlets by the high tops and multiple tables to sit at. The atmosphere is nice and bright while relaxing, and the sound level is quiet to moderate depending on the time. Don't sleep on this place. If you absolutely LOVE coffee and espresso, you have to try Perc.

This coffee shop has quite easily become one of my absolute favorite coffee shops not just in Savannah but throughout my travels. The "Good Times Latte" which is a vanilla-lavender latte with Habanero Sugar is hands-down, DELICIOUS--rich, smooth, and full of flavor. Apart from the yummy coffee, the stunning merchandise was what caught my eye. Beautiful pastel bold designs! From beautifully designed mugs and eye-catching stickers to a thoughtfully curated selection of coffee beans, everything feels unique and high-quality. The decor is stylish, warm, and welcoming--perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. And on Sundays, they host a cozy chess tournament, which adds such a fun, community-driven vibe to the space.

I am a coffee connoisseur and I recently checked out Perc, as I've heard a lot of really good things about this place. It instantly was not one of my favorite local coffee shops, unfortunately. I really wanted to enjoy it, but even the greeting from the cashier was not warm and welcoming. It's almost as if we were interrupting or if he just did not want to be there. I went in the middle of the day on a Monday afternoon, it was generally pretty busy with a lot students or locals in the area. Unfortunately, there was not a lot of seating so I had to take my items to go. I tried one of the items I believe on the specialty menu. I don't even recall what it was because it just wasn't that memorable. I believe it was supposed to have some type of marshmallows in it and I was highly disappointed when I received it and there was no marshmallows. I see so many advertisements for a specialty coffee with high price points and you go to these locations and it's nothing like what it looks like in the picture. I do understand that each coffee is not going to look the same, but if that's the case, then we should probably stop advertising for these items or charging as much as we do. It wasn't even just the presentation or that the coffee was lacking or missing certain items, it was that it just was not flavorful for me. It could be just that I didn't like the coffee. But overall, with the presentation of how the staff kind of felt pushy and unwelcoming; just didn't make me want to come back. So I probably will not return here.

I stopped in a couple times during my trip to Savannah. I tried the prosciutto bagel-- amazing. I may have to get the ingredients to recreate this now that I'm heading back to Ambridge, Pa. Or maybe PERC can open a location near me-- I doubt anyone would be disappointed. The shake Was also incredible. I forget what iced espresso drink I had to go, along with my granola bowl, but the theme stayed the same--everything was great. Thanks for being a staple on my trip. I felt at home away from home! Sadly, I had to miss out on the little flea market event that happened over the weekend, but your coffee fueled me thru studying for a very important exam, and I passed. I'll go out on a limb and say, your coffee gave me super powers.

I finally made it to this place. I feel like it has some magic that I just can't put my finger on it. I bought a 17 dollar bag of coffee. I hope it tastes a decadent as the price tag. (Later noting the coffee was just ok) The packaging on everything is very aesthetically pleasing to the eye. "Fashion coffee" I will call this place. The Good Times coffee tastes fluffy with a lot of foam. I feel like I could have a meal for what I just spent to get a coffee. Sorry Perc. Maybe add some delicious food to the menu?

Wife went with the Discotonic, I had the Cold Fashioned, and the kids devoured the chocolate croissant. The food and drinks were solid--not your typical coffee shop. Props to them for the creativity and bold flavors. Definitely worth a visit.

Parking in the area is limited but available. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere to work on your laptop or read a book as it was on the quieter side. During my visit I enjoyed a croissant and a latte- if I was a local to Savannah, this place would be part of my weekly routine!

PERC coffee roasters, located at 1802 East Broad Street (One Way) in Savannah, GA is an excellent independent third wave roaster. Situated near Midtown the roasting facility is not a coffee shop, however, the public is welcome to purchase from an assortment of freshly roasted whole beans, they also kindly offered us each an espresso shot. While we came home with an array of beans, Koke Cooperative, a sweet and fruity blend has been our favorite so far. For those lusting after the Juggernaut, Bob-O-Link, El Aguacate AA or other roasts, ordering online is available for a mere $5.00 shipping fee. read more

Was excited to try a new coffee shop other than the Coffee Fox. My bad. I didn't realize starting a business in a gentrified area allowed you to be rude to customers and make them feel like an idiot for asking for milk for a drink was overly sweetened with simple syrup. This is exactly why people hate pretentious hipster coffee places. Definitely won't be going back here on any trips to Savannah. read more

Found this gem on yelp! Great local roasted and coffee shop. I got the nitro cold brew with almond milk and it hit the spot. Staff is very nice and friendly. They sell a lot of their own merchandise and you get a look into the roasting equipment. Also sell a few homemade pastries. read more

We recently moved from Portland, OR to Savannah and were pleasantly surprised to find this gem. They roast their own coffee and it's delicious. Not to mention the inside has a pretty cool atmosphere. My only wish is that they had size options! read more

As a casual espresso drinker, I enjoyed my latte and iced mocha so much that I returned multiple times during my very short visit in Savannah. The drinks were so smooth, and you can really taste the fine notes in the espresso. read more

This is my favorite coffee spot in Savannah now. It's a large, open space with what looks like their whole production process in there. It's really cool to see, but what is best is their coffee. They had an absolutely amazing specials menu as well and we ordered several different drinks to try. If anyone is an expert in Savannah, it is them. Their location is a bit away from what I feel like is mainstream Savannah, but it's so worth it for their coffee. Will definitely be returning. read more

The ladies are slinging some magic in the lattes at PERC. Coffee is fantastic! I've tried a few coffee joints in Savannah and a lot of them have a burnt taste to their espresso and are overly sweet. Not the case here where the coffee is smooth and flavorful. A must try in Savannah! read more

Super cool spot with exceptional vibe. Great coffee roasted on site. It's more of a roaster than coffee shop, but for any coffee-obsessed (like myself) it is highly recommended. The staff are all incredibly friendly, and even allowed my 11 year old to look at the coffee roasters and answered a few questions. In a day and age where people seem to be in a hurry and just clock in and clock out, it is refreshing to meet a passionate crew who really take joy in what they do. Thank you! read more

Location and ambiance of the shop is cool. Not too pretentious inside it's on the outskirts of downtown so parking is easy, but if your looking for just a plain cup of iced coffee this isn't the place for you, they have nitro cold brew instead which I am not a huge fan of but other than that the coffee is very strong, I'll have to try a different drink when I go back read more

Hooooooly shit. Best coffee I've ever had...and I worked in a coffee shop where we roasted our own beans and thought our beans were good. A pour over isn't really my go to drink bc I prefer iced coffee or cold brew. But one chilly Savannah evening I decided to try the pour over at perc and oh my ...The Colombia pasto pour over was a coffee experience I have never had before in my life. Best. Coffee. Ever. Also tried the cold brew, which was great..but seriously the Colombia pour over was just unreal. read more

This place is SO GOOD. I was a little confused by the location, but the building is really cool on the inside. Absolutely fantastic vibe. The coffee is just amazing. The espresso with milk was delicious, but the nitro cold brew is by far the best coffee drink I have ever tasted. The staff members were polite and personable and all told, an absolutely incredible place. I'll definitely be ordering some coffee to enjoy at home! read more

Lovely spot! Definitely needed in my neighborhood as it's a bit of a coffee desert. Wonderful friendly employees. The only thing is that it's near impossible to sit down and get some work done in the shop itself because the music is so loud, so I generally take my coffee outside if the weather is nice. I've overheard others saying the same thing as well. You can sometimes find a peaceful sweet spot when the roasters aren't blasting music outside either. Then it's perfect. read more

nitro coffee is the absolute way to go! The only reason I didn`t give it a fifth star was the size of the glass it was served in. Absolutely delicious, didn`t need any creamer or sweetener and everyone there was very friendly. read more

I've had PERC by purchasing through our local Whole Foods market. This week we were in town and stopped by their cafe. I was not disappointed. Not only great espresso drinks on site, but the two bags of coffee we purchased were really great. Best place to grab beans in Savannah IMO. read more

I have had PERC at Foxy Loxy and Coffee Fox, but it was great to be at the place where the coffee is roasted. The Ethiopian blend is good, and I especially like Nitro Cold Brew which is a nitrogenated coffee served on tap.The retail is currently only open on Saturday morning, but it is great way to start your weekend. read more

A must for coffee nerds like me. Fantastic craft coffee and espresso. Leaving NYC, I was afraid I would only find Starbucks and stale restaurant coffee during my visit to Savannah. Honestly, their El Salvador pour over was one of the finest I've ever had. I used to run a NY bistro that featured craft coffee service, so I consider myself pretty well informed on this topic. But you gotta come try for yourself. read more

Very cool building, coffee is good. I first bought a bag in Charlotte from Whole Foods, then learned they were in Savannah so while in town i had to check them out in person... non-welcoming. Not greeted, barely acknowledged when asked what i wanted to order. Lost supporter. read more

Had their mocha - store made dark chocolate espresso drink. Like a dessert ( which was perfect as Mari and I had just had lunch at another great find The green truck pub). PERC is in an old industrial building - think it must have been a factory that made wooden objects as their counter looked like a workbench with remnants of an old vice and ducting that could have been dust removal system. Great service, there was what appeared to be a coffee tasting session going on, and the counter help offered to wrap our purchased beans when we mentioned it was a gift, plus my mocha was free since we bought the bag of beans!!! read more

Amazing local beans and coffee on demand. I highly recommend going out of your way to visit Perc. They road on premises and offer drinks from black to all milk espresso beverages. Check hours before you go, it's NOT a 7am-9pm joint. read more

If you love good coffee, or want to learn more about it, this is the place for you. If you like overly smiling baristas who kiss your behind every chance they get, this is NOT the place for you. This place is about the coffee, not you. They also have a varied selection of pastries to go with the coffee, the marshmallow donut was excellent. If you're there, make sure you take some of their roasts home. I am still enjoying them and almost regret not buying more. read more

Came in on the way to work when I was in town. Asked a couple questions and got smirky answers with no real attempt at customer service. Finally gave up on it and ordered something simple. Why is this an epidemic among small businesses (not limiting it to coffee)? Drop the pretentiousness for a minute and serve your customer. read more

Purchased our first bag of beans at the market and have been buying bags of amazing voodoo magic beans that taste like heaven in your soul ever since! Really enjoy the Juggernaut and cold brew options. Very cool place! You can watch the entire production from start to finish while you enjoy the fruits of their labor :) read more

Best of the best. THE coffee place in Savannah for coffee geeks. They are a roaster first, and their beans are some of the most flavorful around. Their preparation and presentation are second to none. Their space isn't meant to be a cafe and it does show at peak times (read: lack of seating). However, this still doesn't detract from a five star review because of the quality product. Make the effort and seek them out. read more

Stopped by today while the company was busy roasting and packaging coffee. I had an employee/(owner/manager?) make me and my dad a free coffee, with precision---he measured beans and water by weight. And the water temperature was kept at an exact standard. Great experience. I bought 12 oz of bob-o-link coffee (date of roast: today!) read more

Meet the Business Owner: Philip B.

Hey, I'm Philip Brown. I began my career in coffee as a barista and manager in Athens, Georgia, between tours with my band. Over eleven years there, my love affair with coffee bloomed and I started roasting. In the summer of 2010 I opened PERC Coffee in a tiny shop in the Starland Dairy, Savannah's incubator for small businesses. Soon my wife Geneva and I had our first son, Levon Otis, and I spent most of my time roasting, packaging, and delivering my coffee around town on my bike. By 2013 PERC outgrew our small shop, and we moved to an old warehouse nearly ten times the size of the previous space. The focal point of the space is the coffee bar and it is stunning. They commissioned a Savannah native, an artist who goes by the name of JuLu (you've probably seen her work before all around town) to paint the body of the bar. When you see her work, you know it's her. There is a striking red espresso machine, floating shelves on the wall behind the coffee bar, and the furniture, simple and classic. Their cream and sugar station is super cool too. Has the look of old deposit boxes or those library index card system things. I don't know if the drawers actually open, but really neat looking. In terms of seating, for now, there are 2 chairs with a coffee table in one corner and a large dining table to seat larger groups that occupies most of the space. Management informed me that they were getting a counter top that they will be installing in the near future for the back wall for people flying solo. I have a feeling that this location will become one of those secret spots, locals only type places to escape the hustle and bustle of the main tourist areas and especially a quiet place to get your work done! - TLC - Management was really nice and excited to finally be open. I was the only customer in at the time, so service was quick, efficient and super friendly. - Eats / Refreshments - From what I can see, all the things I have ordered in the past at all of their sister locations (original The Coffee Fox, Foxy Loxy, Henny Penny, Fox & Fig) are all on the menu at this location. Definitely their most popular items anyway. They also use Perc Coffee and they have a small showcase of baked goods from their bakery, Henny Penny, for all of their locations. They had a limited selection today of muffins and kolaches, about 2 flavors of each. It is opening day, so I'm sure the quantities and variety will change as the amount of traffic increases. Matcha Latte - I don't know why I haven't ever had this before at any of their locations, but this is definitely my new favorite! I ordered it with whole milk and it came with a pretty milk foam art design on top. Matcha can be pretty bitter, but it was just the right amount. Zucchini Muffin - It is no secret that I love the stuff that Henny Penny Cafe dishes out (can I get an Amen on their vegan donuts?!). I just love how wholesome all of their items taste, like a recipe your mom would make. I loved how dense this muffin was and it was delicious. I devoured it in the car as I drove back home. love this place. They have great, unique food choices and a robust all-day breakfast menu. The food is good. The coffee is great. The outdoor patio seating is fantastic and so is the inside.
