Upon returning home I came to the slightly baffling realization that that was not what they're doing. I'm actually really uncomfortable with the reality, now that I see it. Let me be clear... i'm an Atheist and a Secular Humanist, but I am IN NO WAY an antitheist. I respect people's faiths and understand the importance of it. However, I get a tad touchy about when it impedes on my body, my government, or my schools. I am fine with religion as a private institute, but don't like when it is pushed upon other people. Ergo when I realized that the 50% of sales going to africa statement had to do with money spent to build churches and not hospitals... I felt a little awkward. This place is cute. I am not denying that. It's great for someone who wants that ultra-religious vibe in their house. There are some really wonderful things there, and the prices are great. I honestly wouldn't hesitate to go back if I hadn't found out exactly what the charity they were contributing so significantly to. I wish I could give a place 3.5 stars.

When speaking with a manager (Rachel) about the situation, she was very rude, defensive and quick to walk away without even trying to understand my situation at all. I was simply trying to understand what happened and how I could avoid it in the future, but she didn't seem to care, interrupting me multiple times and saying there was nothing she could do. I was very calm and polite when speaking to her, but she was unapologetic and clearly did not care about me as a customer per our conversation. In the future I will be selling at other stores.

While they have a nice selection of fabric, the customer service is terrible when it comes to…read moremachine service. The staff never knows when the technician will be in, when the machine will be done, or if he has even looked at it yet. The technician says that he does one thing when it is evident that he has not. Multiple times I have brought my longarm machine home after being "cleaned" and "fixed" only to have the same issues. And I have clearly seen that the machine was not cleaned. I live an hour away and when I call to let them know that the issue was not fixed, the answer is "bring it back in" (2 hour round trip). Most recently, and the last straw, was after bringing my longarm in for a cleaning and being told that I was "first in line", there was no communication about the machine and when I would call, the shop tells me they don't know when he will be in and when he was last in. Then, a week later I called to check on the status of the machine and they say it is ready for pickup. When I got there, it was not ready, but he said I can "finish it" at home. After following his instructions, the machine still did not work properly. He then stated that it would need a $700 part (mind you, the machine was not even in the shop at that time). After spending hours on the phone with the HandiQuilter tech line, I decided I would need to find another dealer. The new dealer opened the machine up and it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in years (he sent me pictures). The tech said he has never seen a machine that bad. So, it appeared that the $300 that Red Rooster required that I pay upfront for the machine "cleaning" never got done. I will not be going back and will never recommend this shop to anyone else.

The club consisted of a slab of American cheese, a slice of tomato, a piece of turkey, a piece of lettuce and a piece of ready-cooked bacon straight out of the package. They hadn't even heated it up to get the fat off of it! It came with a small but decent salad. $20! This will be my last visit! The waitress was nice.

We did not want to order from a catalog sight unseen so we even spent a day in Miami Florida browsing the numerous very high end showrooms there and still could not find anything we really liked regardless of cost. We happened to stumble across some of Tarik's pieces while searching on Etsy and discovered he was located in Columbus so we decided to go check out his showroom. We stopped by the showroom and were immediately impressed with the pieces on display. The furniture is well-made heirloom quality and the designs are unique, stylish and contemporary. Everything is handmade and exudes craftsmanship well beyond anything you will find in a catalog or most any other local furniture store, this is furniture you that will be cherished and enjoyed for a long time. We found a four post bed we really liked and we worked with Tarik to slightly customize the design and dimensions. The bed came out absolutely amazing and we could not be more happy with the result. After seeing how nice the bed turned out we picked out a nightstand and dresser design from his showroom and customized them to our dimensions with legs to match the four post bed. The final product was equally impressive and beyond our already high expectations. I highly recommend TY furniture; Tarik and his skilled craftsman do amazing work and I look forward to working with them again in the future.

This time frame was repeatedly quoted by phone and email. We were expecting our bed in late July or maybe early August, and have been sleeping on a mattress on the floor waiting for the bed. It is now the last day of August. The shipping company finally reach out today. They have our bed and the earliest available day for delivery is late September.
