For years i was recommended Domenica as the best pizza of that kind available in New Orleans. Today, 15 years later, i decided to give it a try because my usual go to pizza places were all closed. I only tasted mine, cheese pizza. I liked that they're individual size however i'm not too fond of the prize but i made peace with having to dish out 4X the money i pay in Italy for the same size same kind of toppings pizza. The dough tasted over proofed and it was definitely underbaked. The flavor and texture reminded me more of a pita bread than of pizza dough. the sauce was good and the cheese was average. It was eaten but i won't order delivery from them again. This is mostly to warn italian pizza lover that they won't find it here. I also ordered the cannoli dip. i thought it was coming with cannoli chips, but they were 80% tiny crumbs with 3 large bits of cannoli shell, but maybe it oss supposed to be served that way.

We recently visited Pizza Domenica and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly and…read moreefficient, especially with how busy everything seemed. We also really enjoyed seeing the pizza being tossed, which added to the fun atmosphere. We ordered three different pizzas for our table of three adults and three kids, along with two orders of garlic knots. The pizzas were enjoyable for both the adults and kids. I had the garlic white pizza, and we also got a pepperoni pizza for the kids and a meat pizza. I do miss when kids used to be able to make their own pizza or garlic knots, since that was always such a fun part of the experience. The first batch of garlic knots came out and were really good. The second batch took a while, and when they arrived, they did not seem fully cooked. The staff did take them back and cook them longer, but they still did not taste quite right. Also, the pizzas came out one at a time, spaced several minutes apart, which was a little inconvenient with a table that included three kids. That said, the overall experience was still positive. The kids ate their pizza, and we enjoyed ours too. With just a little more consistency in timing and food preparation, it would have been even better.

Warmly welcomed, comfortably sat, quick with opening beverages while we figured out which of our favorites to choose from, our server was on top of everything, while balancing 4 other tables. Still felt like we were getting full attention like we were the only ones in the room. Wednesday is half off pitchers and the 4 different tvs had a great selection of playoff baseball and opening night of hockey. I know sports bars that don't boost this much variety. The bar is perfectly lit and next game I wanna watch I'm coming here. All in all, I'm just happy an old favorite still knocks it out of the park. I'll write another review 15 years from now and keep you updated.

I struggled with putting a 5-star review on a pretty basic menu (no offense), but dang it,…read moreeverything we've eaten in our last 3 visits (in 2 months) has been 5-star fresh, tasty and plentiful. Give credit where credit is due. And the servers have really stepped it up. Very nice! Have not had to deal with huge crowds on any of our three visits, just a steady stream of in and out guests and to go orders. Drinks are always brought promptly, and only once has one gone dry. (They are $3.79 ea, so drink up!) One visit involved Pesto Bites and a Savory Cannoli w/a pasta salad side. The Pesto Bites were to die for, and don't believe the picture on the website - the cannoli was huge and looked more like a very big calzone, but it was packed with ingredients and flavor. The pasta salad was seasoned with just the right amount of Italian dressing. Another visit involved Mozzarella Sticks, Pesto Bites, wings and a Combo pizza. It also involved a large to go box. :) The wings were very good - not bready or slimy, which I often encounter when wings aren't the sole business of the establishment. Loved the crust on the pizza. The 3rd visit involved 3 people and Pizza Bites, Seafood Bites, Savory Cannoli w/pasta salad, Spaghetti & Meatballs w/2 extra meatballs and a 14" Hawaiian Pizza. There were some to go boxes and to go drinks with this meal too. I was pleasantly surprised with the Hawaiian pizza, not something I would ordinarily try, the Pizza Bites were amazing, and I don't eat shrimp but am told the Seafood Bites were very good. I wish I had taken pictures, but each time we were sitting down starving; that's never good for the photo business. :) Try it, you'll like it.

To expand on my review from last week: This is VERY bad…read more When you order from Fresco via Doordash, Fresco uses their own drivers rather than a Dasher. If Fresco's drivers are busy, they still don't default to a Dasher - instead, YOU JUST HAVE TO WAIT until Fresco's driver is free. And Doordash knows that Fresco is doing this, but they don't inform you, the customer. Thus, while Fresco waits for over an hour for their driver to be available and your pizza gets cold, The Doordash app continues to tell you that "your order is being prepared." This is particularly galling if it results in a 1 hour and thirty minute wait for a pizza to be delivered a mere 5 blocks, and even worse if, after an hour and a half you have to drive over yourself and pick up your cold pizza. Even more galling is when the manager just shrugs, says there's nothing that he can do about it, and he can't even be bothered to give a discount. This is how restaurants lose loyal customers who have patronized their business for 15 years.

The serving was generous and it was a NY style thin crispy crust. The sauce & cheese combo had an exceptionally good flavor. The crust was nice but the outer end was a bit tough to chew most likely because it had been warmed up again before being served to us. I'd come back for another slice or sit down service. *Residential street parking.

This pizza shop is currently having their soft opening and had traditional pizza available along with many middle-east items that I was not familiar with. They serve Manakeesh which I will try in the future . I tried the buffalo chicken pizza and it was overall good . The dough goes right into a huge brick oven and the it tasted pretty close to Italian pizza. I liked the seasonings as they used a lot of oregano. The chicken on the pizza was just ok (tasted thawed from frozen). The staff were very nice and the pizza was not overpriced. The personal 10" buffalo pizza was just about $15 with tax and was very filling. The ambience is your standard quick-serve style pizza shop with black vinyl chairs and square tables, perfect for a lunch break.
