The cashier that took our order wasn't very friendly, and got my drink order wrong. When I came back up, she added the flavors. I ordered the avocado toast, and couldn't help but notice the cashier helping another customer ordering the same thing asked what kind of bread and side. I wasn't asked anything so ended up with chips. Mine was also missing the balsamic drizzle which would have made a big difference as the avocado was lacking seasoning, but I didn't want to go back up a second time. Husband's Fury panini was good but petite. The raspberry pastry was flaky and delicious, with the perfect ratio of filling.

Cadbury & Baklava in a drink?!? Yes! Thanks to the staff patiently explaining the drinks to me. Cool relax vibe with outside house music. It did not disappoint. Thank you!

Lovely independent coffee shop, delicious hot and cold coffee drinks. It's much better than Starbucks, which is the only other coffee choice nearby. Spacious, sunny interior, good WiFi, comfortable and varied choices in seating. Plenty of parking, it's in a strip mall that doesn't have much other traffic. Excellent service.

The White mocha latte and veggie panini were great. Nice cozy atmosphere, friendly staff. I don't mind driving several towns over for a nice place like this. I also saw a sign that they have live music.

What a nice time. We met friends at the Wild Onion - haven't been there is probably 20 years or…read moremore. It looks very much the same - there is a bar in front with stools around the bar and high top tables. The restaurant is in the back. They have a nice menu with lots of variety and some gluten-free options. Our server came by the table right away to take our drink orders. I ordered a vodka martini - what the bartender made was something called a French martini - I sent it back and they brought me what I'd originally ordered. It was very good. I read through many of the reviews before ordering. My usual at a place like this is a hamburger. But the reviews were very mixed so I decided I would try the Bourbon Chicken Sandwich with tater tots. My partner had a Reuben made with turkey (a Rachel - not on the menu) and sweet potato fries. My Bourbon Chicken was really good. In fact, I recommend it. The Rachel was also very good. The sweet potato fries were outstanding. The tots were okay. It's very rustic in the dining room, which fits very well with their menu. It's also very large. The service was outstanding. And, it was pretty quiet in the dining room so the five of us could have good conversations without having to yell.

My cousin got married at Wild Onion, and the banquet space itself is absolutely beautiful. The main…read morereception hall features a large stone window behind the wedding party table, and there is a patio just outside that overlooks the water, which makes for a gorgeous setting. While Wild Onion is clearly a great venue for events, it is also a restaurant and brewery, so I am focusing this review more on the food and dining experience. We ate here for my cousin's wedding rehearsal dinner and were seated in a red carpeted room connected to the main reception hall. Unfortunately, this space felt out of place compared to the rest of the venue. It did not match the elegant vibe of the main hall and was a bit dark and dingy, which was somewhat off-putting at first. Service-wise, our waitress was wonderful. She was sweet, personable, and had a fun, upbeat personality that helped improve the overall experience right at the beginning. For my meal, I ordered the Kickin' Chicken Sandwich ($17). It is a hand-breaded chicken breast topped with honey garlic sauce, pepper jack cheese, bacon, chipotle mayo, and fried jalapenos. The sandwich had a really nice balance of flavors and was easy to eat, but despite the name, it was not spicy at all. I enjoyed it, though I did find the portion a bit small, and it did not fill me up. I chose cheese curds as my side, and those were a highlight. They were crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. Also, because I am currently pregnant, I had an absolutely delicious mocktail. I sadly don't remember the name of the one I ordered, but I am here to say that it had a good balance of flavors. Overall, Wild Onion has a large menu with a wide variety of options, along with many different side choices, some for an additional charge. There truly is something for everyone. While the rehearsal dinner space itself was not ideal, the food, service, and overall selection still made for a positive experience.

The only problem is that they don't always have it, and that's a shame as I think if word got around d about how awesome it is, they would get more orders. It's hit and miss when they have it, so if you're craving a hood turkey burger, call ahead to make sure they have it. As for me, their burgers are not to be missed. They are plenty juicy and flavorful. The fries (at least the first time I had them) were both crispy outside and fluffy potato inside. Today, however, they were soft and limp. I ordered the cheese for dipping and it was watery and flavorless. Such a bummer. I also had their buffalo chicken ranch sandwich. It was lifeless. The chicken was rubbery, and the bacon tasteless. It was a waste of bacon (and I don't say that lightly). My wife had the chicken parm sandwich and again, the chicken was rubbery. Maybe we should have stuck with burgers? Alas, she could not ad they didn't have the turkey burgers. I say stick with their burgers and maybe ask for the fries well done.

We consider this quite a find. Quiet, beautifully decorated (but not overly so), back room with brick walls and "windows" that appeared to look out in an Italian neighborhood. Just nice, nice. To the food: crusty bread served with an EVOO based dip to start. We ordered a baked clams starter (delicious and decent sized clams), a lovely small mixed salad. Lovely wife ordered the double stuffed eggplant, I opted for the short rib ravioli with vodka sauce. Both excellent and enough to take some home to enjoy. We skipped dessert, but the selection we saw on the way out looked very appealing. By the way, the service was excellent, and our waitress made an excellent suggestion regarding the sauce for my dish. Afterwards, I asked aforementioned Lovely Wife when we recall the last restaurant meal we had that was any better. We had to think a bit. Based on one visit, this earns an enthusiastic Five stars. We'll be back. Soon, I hope.

At least 10 minutes go by. I go up to counter and ask, do they do bread and butter there? "Yes" at no charge. Ok can you bring some over. And asked for water again. 3 rolls provided with a bowl of butter. A bowl full of odds and ends butter chunks. No way two people could use that on three rolls. What do they do, just throw it back in the fridge and give it to the next customer? Ordered coffee. Added their creamer, which was spoiled. Went back to the counter to ask for water again. Food came. Pretty good. When I asked for the bill, they were having computer issues. It would just be a few minutes. After another 10 minutes, I go back to the counter and ask if I can just pay cash. "Sure, you even get a cash discount". So they couldn't tell me that 10 minutes ago? First and last time.

Sunday "Father's Day... Worst Restaurant Experience!…read moreMy son and grandson wanted to take me out for a Father's Day lunch and we chose The Chick and the Pig since we never ate there. We got there around 12:30, ordered our food by phone (because there is no wait staff other than a bar tender), pay for the food via phone, and waited a hour only to be told that there was no food left. Customers that came in after us had ordered and ate but not us. Finally my son went up to the kitchen window to ask why we didn't get our food. The kitchen staff told my son "We ran out of food". One would figure that there would have been some type of announcement made instead of leaving us and some other customers hanging but, nobody said a peep. This was the worst experience we've ever had at any restaurant! How can this place even operate without a wait staff and run out of food soon after it opened for the day. It simply was not busy enough to run out of food. Seems to me that the underlying problem is the owner and management. One thing I do know is that I will never go to this restaurant again nor their other restaurant Bold American Fare.
