Just yesterday, June 13th, I bought a ricotta cheese which was in this section and had a "sell before" date of July 8th; upon taking it home it tasted spoiled and we immediately had to discard it. I'm not sure when the item was packed, but I have a gut feeling that the sell by date listed on the box was inaccurate. The other two times I experienced this were also with cheese, as well as with cold cuts. I highly recommend that this location look into ways in which they can prevent spoilage of items from the refrigerated section and ensure that their customers are getting food that is fresh and well-maintained. UPDATE (6/15/2026): Make that *four* times. I bought fresh fish from the seafood counter and was about to cook it last night however, when I unwrapped it from the parchment paper that it had been stored in, I was hit with a significantly rancid smell and I think I was sold fish that was not fresh either. I'm not sure what's wrong, maybe the temperature of the refrigerators in the store aren't high enough, but I really hope that it can be corrected soon because otherwise this location is risking losing a customer in me. Which is a shame because this has been a mainstay store that I have been going to for years and I don't want to risk my health being in danger due to buying spoiled food that is being marketed as "fresh."
