Pepper sauce - The display window features a collection of hot sauce bottles and jars arranged on a red counter with cartoon characters, including a dog and a chili pepper, painted on the front panel. A digital screen advertises a Cajun seasoning product called 'The Big Easy.' The store's signage above reads 'PEPPERPALACE.COM,' indicating a specialty hot sauce shop. The interior of the store is visible through the glass, with shelves stocked with various products and lighting illuminating the display.

Super amazing find!!! Found this on Yelp and the owner was super helpful. He showed me a bbq sauce that was flaming hot but also tasted good. I asked for the hottest hot sauce and man did that did not disappoint. Great find and in a easy area to get to. The buy 3 get 1 free is amazing deal !

Um, stupid... My son "loves" hot sauce. For Christmas, his girlfriend bought him a Hot Sauce sampler set of various hot sauces. So it made sense to take a tour around pepper palace. It's a few steps down from the street but once you enter, you're in hot sauce heaven. (Wait a second, anything hot would mean...) There's a few Bloody Mary mixes, salsa's, ketchups and sauces. Me, I'm not sampling anything but just browsing with my family. My wife decided to buy a gift for my son. The cashier says, this hot sauce is nice but the really hot stuff is in the fridge. You'll need to sign a waiver before you try this stuff. My son is like, gimme the pen! So, him and his girlfriend slather this stuff on a cracker. Then they take a big... bite. Their faces went from normal to "God, I need a doctor". Then, they ran to the Market and bought ice cream. If you're crazy enough to try the hottest hot sauce on the planet, then Pepper Palace should be in your Boston rotation. If you're looking for a bottle of funky hot sauce and aren't flying, then they have bottle of spicy hot pepper sauce for you. I'm good, thanks.

Some like it Hot! Definitely a place to get your heat on if you like spicy... variety squared in the small but impactful stop in the heart of downtown Boston.

Nice selection of hot sauces, salsas, powders, etc. Located on a lower level of one of the stores in the south market building, make sure you can climb 1 flight of stairs. There are descriptions of all the hot sauces to help you gauge level of spicy. There used to be samples before the pandemic, but hopefully that will return post pandemic!

If you want hot sauce this is the best spot to go that I've come across so far. There's a great selection of hot sauce here and my dumb self went and bought the hot sauce they call "the end". It's said to be the second hottest hot sauce on the planet. The gentleman that sold me the bottle was very awesome to me. I went out side to pose for a few pictures with my new prized hot sauce and , I dropped it. Splattered all over the hard cement. I had to get another one so I ran in and told the guy I need to buy another one because I dropped it and he just gave me another one free of charge.

Saucy Wench & La Diablesse - The image shows two bottles of hot sauce on a white fabric surface. The bottle on the left is smaller, with a black cap and a label featuring a pin-up style woman and the text 'Pepper Palace' and 'Got Sooty.' The larger bottle on the right has a black cap and a label depicting a pirate with a hook hand, a skull, and the text 'La Diablesse' and 'Hot Sauce.' Both bottles contain sauces with different colors and textures.

Had a great experience with Keith guiding and educating my bf and I on hot sauces that would cater to our individual palates. Bought a couple really good sauces and super excited to try them at home!

This is a neat little hot sauce shop near Faneuil Hall. You might miss it as you have to walk down a flight of stairs to get to the front door. There are a ton of samples to try and the owner knows all the products like the back of his hand.

I wanted to get a sampler pack for a pepperhead who would be taking it on a plane. What to do? Where to go? The store I got the idea at nearly a year ago no longer carried it among their stock and so I was lost. My sister reminded me of this store in Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Oh yeah! I've passed by many a time, but as a nonspicy person, it didn't really stick, but was just part of the background. Well, Pepper Palace to the rescue! I found one sampler set that fit the bill on one of their two shelves of TSA approved product. Sadly, it wasn't a local product, but beggars can't be choosers! It turns out that much of their wares are privately bottled by them. So I wish they'd get on the ball and take advantage of the niche of TSA sized sampler packs. They also carry the more popular hot sauces that their customer base inquires about. Samples abound with warnings to not double dip. It was a one man shop at the time I stopped by, and he was friendly enough. They carry not only sauces, but spice mixes and salsas. PP is located below ground level, reachable only by descending an exterior flight of stairs. There's sign outside their door advertising that if you buy 5 you get the 6th one free (mix and match).

Looks down cause you have to walk down the stairs to the store.

I came for an initial consult and have been following up every month or so. The owner is a very relaxed, calming presence. For the consult he listened to my pulse and checked my skin & tongue. From there he can see what's going on in your body and how to fix & prevent symptoms. The herbal remedies he has provided so far have been beneficial for me. To be honest, I was pretty nervous that he was able to sense my high stress the first time I met him... but once he heard my pulse, he knew what I was going through and was really helpful. The consult itself is no cost, but you purchase the herbal medicines. For me, he recommended capsules since that's what my body would respond best to. For others, he can brew the herbs so you can take in a liquid form - which absorbs faster too. Everyone is different, so what's recommended for me won't be the same for others. Pricing for remedies differs. Depending on what's prescribed, it can go from $5-$60. There is also a language barrier since I don't speak Chinese, but he had the google translate app! If you're curious about Chinese herbal medicine, I would definitely recommend trying Shing Hong Trading out.

Speaking to the owner's son, he mentioned spices are purchased in the USA (that have been imported from other countries) and purchased directly from other countries as well. I visited this shop when it first opened maybe about 7-8 years ago. It was located near Christina's Homemade Icecream shop and didn't have as much stock. I'm so glad this establishment blossomed into a full spice library! One suggestion for the owners would be to label sections with spices by maybe country or curries vs marinades etc. I bought so many spices since we are never in the area. My purchases ranged from Thai green curry spice mix to goghugaru chilli flakes. What a delightful visit I had and I even picked up a few gifts for friends too!
