Just okay tea. Not my favorite. Plus the $4 price tag is a little steep. They do have a lot of flavors, so that is nice. And the caffeine flavors sounded really good but it was late at night and I wanted to avoid caffeine. They do have more flavor options without caffeine so that made it easier for me to find a flavor I liked. I ended up going with the ginger tea because it sounded like the most flavorful. The tea was served steaming hot. I could barely hold it even with the paper cup holder. And they fill the cup to the brim so be sure to ask them to leave room if you want to add cream or milk to your tea. The flavor was overall just okay. I don't think I would have the same flavor again. Their caffeine flavors are probably better so next time I will go in the morning for a nice caffeine boost!

Their flowers!!! I did not have the tea because I was already drinking one from other store. But I really wished I wasn't because their menu looked super authentic. I bought two of their flowers, which was very cheap and really really unique and cute.

Chai tea is one of my favorite drinks, but truly good chai tea is hard to come by. I'm usually forced to order it in a coffee shop that has it on the menu as an afterthought, because they only truly care about coffee. Soluna is different. They're all about the teas. Their ceylon chai latte was delicious. It had that deep, spicy flavor I look for in chai, without the musky flavor that plagues so many other failed implementations. Notes of pepper, cinnamon, cardamom, and clove with whole milk. They have a side shop too, where you can buy their teas, ghee, and other things. The barista was friendly, helpful, and fast. If you like tea, you will love Soluna.

I came for an initial consult and have been following up every month or so. The owner is a very relaxed, calming presence. For the consult he listened to my pulse and checked my skin & tongue. From there he can see what's going on in your body and how to fix & prevent symptoms. The herbal remedies he has provided so far have been beneficial for me. To be honest, I was pretty nervous that he was able to sense my high stress the first time I met him... but once he heard my pulse, he knew what I was going through and was really helpful. The consult itself is no cost, but you purchase the herbal medicines. For me, he recommended capsules since that's what my body would respond best to. For others, he can brew the herbs so you can take in a liquid form - which absorbs faster too. Everyone is different, so what's recommended for me won't be the same for others. Pricing for remedies differs. Depending on what's prescribed, it can go from $5-$60. There is also a language barrier since I don't speak Chinese, but he had the google translate app! If you're curious about Chinese herbal medicine, I would definitely recommend trying Shing Hong Trading out.

There's probably something for every kind of cuisine out there. I was quite happy to find that they had a special flavor of Japanese rice seasoning I couldn't find at Hmart and other Asian stores. I also ended up getting lavender flowers and yuzu marmalade to enhance and go with my matcha tea. Prices were very reasonable, and the staff were very friendly. I'll definitely be back for some specialty items!

There are specialty spreads, sauces, nuts, beans, teas, etc. you can purchase as well. Speaking to the owner's son, he mentioned spices are purchased in the USA (that have been imported from other countries) and purchased directly from other countries as well. I visited this shop when it first opened maybe about 7-8 years ago. It was located near Christina's Homemade Icecream shop and didn't have as much stock. I'm so glad this establishment blossomed into a full spice library! One suggestion for the owners would be to label sections with spices by maybe country or curries vs marinades etc. I bought so many spices since we are never in the area. My purchases ranged from Thai green curry spice mix to goghugaru chilli flakes. What a delightful visit I had and I even picked up a few gifts for friends too!

Which honestly, I liked not having 100 options to pick from. For context, I like dessert coffee. Basically coffee that doesn't taste like coffee. That being said, there were no dessert coffee choices, so I got the hot coffee with a little bit of sugar. It was amazing. I LOVED it. That's the coffee that makes me want to get into coffee and try other amazing ones. The service was pretty quick too- we got a hot coffee and an iced one. Which another thing- only ~$6 for 2 cups of coffee?! Don't see that too often in boston anymore.. This is more of a spice shop and they have a massive selection of spices and coffee beans. I will definitely be back for more coffee, and for some spice shopping! Overall I highly recommend, it's a nice store and their coffee beats out Dunkin by a mile!
