Terrible experience with Hydrosolution…read more I replaced two perfectly working Rheem water heaters in my condos because the building requires replacement after 10 years. Hydrosolution assured me their Giant heaters were better quality. On the same day of installation, one of the brand-new heaters started leaking everywhere. I called and a technician came, told me the previous installer did it wrong, adjusted the piping, and guaranteed it wouldn't leak again. Two hours later, it started leaking all over again. Hydrosolution advertises 24/7 emergency service, but when I called around 10pm no one answered despite hours of trying. They finally called back at 7am and told me the earliest technician could come was between 2pm and 10pm - an 8-hour window for an emergency caused by their faulty installation. A brand-new heater leaking twice on the day it was installed, plus a "24/7 emergency line" that doesn't answer. Extremely disappointing service. I would not recommend this company.

I called another company who charged only $250 for an inspection. They concluded that the problem was a non-functioning board which was still under warranty. They also indicated that it would have been impossible to determine that the compressor was not functioning due to the non-functioning board. Client service was not helpful, in fact were very aggressive and rude and did not return any of my calls. I would never call or recommend this company. They are dis-honest, over priced, and higly incompetent. I would give zero stars if I could.

The technician came, stayed for 15 minutes or so and simply told me the whole system needs replacement. His diagnostic didn't provide voltages test, whether the indoor motor fan or control board needed replacement. All he wrote was that he was unable to take measurement and that it 'looks' like there are multiple problems. Trying to sell me a new system that's twice what I paid 10 years ago. I regret ever calling them!

They installed a Dual Start capacitator for $225.00 and added 2 units of refridgerant for $170.00. My total bill was $1,143.94. A week later the air conditioner stopped working again. I called JCD to tell them and said that as they had just been there I shouldn't have to pay for the residential call again. They refused and said that it was probably a 'different' problem than the one they had repaired. I was not willing to spend another $400. on a company that would not guarantee their repairs, especially after only a week. I think this company overcharges and is dishonest. Our heating is by hot water via an electrical boiler, which started to act at the worst possible time of the year, where the outside temperature is at its lowest. Scheduling a service call could not have been easier as the information requested was precise and detailed enough that they can pinpoint the possible cause. We were impressed with Yoel's professionalism and courtesy by removing his overshoe before entering the house. His expertise and level of due diligence is well above our expectations. He spent time checking each radiator while explaining the process in detail. About a week later, another unrelated issue popped up, caused by the thermostat, a critical time where most staff are off on a public holiday. Fortunately, a new service technician, Stephan, was despatched within the hour. Similarly, we got the same level of attention, care and expertise that solved our problem. This is truly one of the few companies that genuinely stands out for its level of service. This is how every company should behave.
