Before service, my vehicle had no oil leaks, which was confirmed by their initial inspection report. A trainee worked on my vehicle during the service. After the oil change, I was suddenly told my car had an oil leak and was given a second inspection printout that directly contradicted the first. I drove straight home and immediately found fresh oil pooling in my driveway, which continued to worsen overnight while the car was parked. When I returned, I was told the drain plug was cross-threaded. That explanation later changed to the damage being "pre-existing," despite no leak prior to service and no disclosure before reinstalling the plug. I was then sent to BMW and told to contact Corporate. BMW's inspection resulted in an estimated $5,000 in required repairs related to oil leakage and associated damage. Valvoline Corporate later attempted to minimize the issue by saying reimbursement was "at the discretion of the shop," even though this damage appeared immediately after their service. Between poor workmanship, contradictory documentation, and shifting explanations to avoid responsibility, this was one of the worst automotive service experiences I've had. A simple oil change turned into thousands of dollars in damage. If you value your vehicle--especially a BMW or any car requiring care--do not trust this location.

The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. Upon arrival, I was informed that the price had increased significantly. When I inquired about the cause, I was told it was due to the high cost of a specific filter, which they claimed to be out of stock for. As I happened to have the correct filter in my vehicle, I offered it to them to facilitate the service at a reasonable price point. While the service was underway, I went inside to finalize the payment. It was at this point that the manager, became confrontational. He stated that the shop would not match prices and explicitly told me that they would not accommodate such a request again. When I calmly expressed that I would not be returning to this location due to the rudeness of his communication, his demeanor escalated. He became extremely hostile, instructed the technician to immediately pull my vehicle out of the bay, and told me that he did not want my business. I have been a loyal customer, and this is not the level of service I expect from the Meineke brand. I have been a repeat customer of this Mavis location for years and trusted them with our family's…read moreHonda CR-V. This began with a routine oil change and tire rotation. Immediately afterward, the vehicle sounded noticeably rougher. I returned the next day, and an employee rode with me to hear the noise. I was told the older tires being rotated to the front could be contributing, so I had them moved back. The noise only decreased slightly; the aggressive roaring sound during acceleration remained. Shortly after leaving, the low tire-pressure warning also appeared, requiring another return to Mavis. The following week, based on Mavis's recommendation that a bearing issue could be responsible, I authorized a bearing service costing approximately $699 before tax. I also purchased additional Michelin tires at approximately $242 per tire, for 4 new tires total. After that service, the vehicle was returned with a completely new and severe scraping/grinding sound underneath, at times sounding as though the bottom of the vehicle were scraping against concrete. The sound was concerning enough that I stopped driving it. The valve-stem caps were also missing from the newly installed Michelin tires. To be clear, the original roaring noise was never resolved by simply repositioning the tires, and this severe scraping/grinding noise was not present before the bearing service and latest tire installation. At this point my concern is not simply that something went wrong, but that the vehicle was released in that condition after extensive service to the tune of $2083.16 Returned vehicle and was informed the lower skid plate wasnt tightened.
