I can't say anything bad... This was the closest place near me on a Sunday replacing tires so I…read morekind of didn't have that many options. Though this would not be my first choice on a normal day, I was grateful for the quick service, the lady at the front looked out and brought the price down because I was not about to pay $180 for a tire unexpectedly. My new tire is holding up well. Thanks guys

ZERO STARS. Avoid, they will try to rip you off!…read more I've been to this Midas location before, but this visit was with someone I'd never worked with there before, and it was a total scam. Went in for a diagnostic after a P0304 misfire code. They quoted me $1,800 for spark plugs and coils. When I pushed for an itemized breakdown, here's what they were actually charging: - Spark plugs: $264 EACH. The exact same plug, same manufacturer, same part number, already confirmed to be what's in my engine, is $26 retail. That is a **10x markup**. Not a "shop margin," not "parts are expensive for foreign cars," a straight up 10x markup on a $26 part. - Coils: $105 each vs. $63 retail for the same direct-fit part. Over $1,400 in quoted parts for something that costs about $350 retail. For a car that needed maybe $300-400 in parts and a couple hours of labor, they tried to charge $1,800 total. That's not a tune-up quote, that's a scam. When they first called me with the quote over the phone, I told them right then it seemed high. No mention of a $50 spark plug option at that point, nothing. It wasn't until I was in person, pushed back again, and asked for my car back that the story started changing. And it gets worse. When I said the price was too high and asked for my car back, the guy didn't explain the pricing at all. He asked me what my budget was, like this is a negotiation at a used car lot, not a repair estimate based on actual part costs. When I said I just wanted my car back, he suddenly offered to drop a filter change to bring it to $1,500. Still zero explanation for why a $26 plug was $264. It wasn't until I told him I already knew the exact retail price that he suddenly dropped it to $50 a plug. That's not a coincidence, that's a shop pricing based on what they think you don't know, not what the part actually costs. Then on top of all that, this diagnostic fee went from $189 to $225 at checkout out, well over the typical fee. If you don't walk in already knowing what your parts should cost, they will absolutely take you for a ride. Do your research before you go in, or better yet, just go somewhere else.

Do not go here. The one on City Ave. Zero star if I…read morecould. Manager name Rob is very immature and unprofessional. Doesn't even know how to mitigate a problem. He makes small matters worse. Poor management. Poor skilled techs. Fixed my flat tire and ended up damaging my trunk. Then refused any accountability. I guess they don't deal with high end cars often. People driving high end cars have money, they don't go there. They called me trespassing after I came to confront them about my trunk. My ass. I wouldn't go here again even if you paid me. As a matter of fact, you'd be lucky to have ur hands on my car again. If I look at any of them again, I will gag. Firestone, your business will drown bc of these people. Your overall review is a 2. That's a red flag to drive people somewhere else.

Not sure how their operation is even legal…read more.. My spouse brought her 2019 Jetta in for a state inspection The man behind the counter received a food delivery while taking her information and proceeded to loudly scold the delivery man because he forgot his drink. Overall very rude staff. Now for the main reason for the poor rating: We were then told the car did not pass the safety inspection because they needed to further inspect a "worn part". To inspect said part, they had to unscrew a few bolts and lower the frame. Would not have been unreasonable to expect to pay a bit more than the original estimate ~$80 for a state inspection) . They attempted to charge us over $1000 more. Through a feat of mental gymnastics the employee stated any Jetta 2019 and more recent would incur such a charge. Hard to believe they are attempting to charge all owners of newer model Jettas over $1000 to pass a state inspection. Clearly part of their business model to offer state inspections and then use the compulsory nature of the service to try to force extra charges on the customer. They still charged us for the inspections despite not passing it. Obviously, we took the car elsewhere and it had no issues passing. Save yourself the shake down and go elsewhere.
