I came here for an oil change and tire rotation. Brad at the front desk was very friendly and honored the $25 coupon I had found online. I was in the waiting area for about an hour (I was a walk-in) and they had a TV hooked up to a Roku for entertainment. Unfortunately the tire tech left grease stains on the steering wheel, driver's seat, and interior driver's door, presumably when he drove my car in and out of the service bay. Despite this I will probably continue to visit this location because I they offer 50% off oil changes for healthcare workers on Wednesdays. UPDATE: I am updating my review to two stars. The tire technician did not use a torque wrench, so when I later went to a mechanic for maintenance, the mechanic had to use eight feet of pipe to remove the lug nuts. This (unsurprisingly) destroyed the lug nuts and I had to front the replacement cost. Brad keeps two stars because he refunded me for the services I received at this locations. I will also be contacting pep boys in an effort to be reimbursed for the cost of the new lug nuts. read more

Do not go here. I took my 2010 Hyundai Elantra here for an inspection. I was quoted over $1500 for repairs (brakes, rotors, and tires all around, license plate light, fog light and few other minute things). As a college student I panicked. Took it somewhere else for a second opinion where I was told that I only need rear brakes and rotors. Everything else was in perfect working order. I spent the money on the brakes and rotors and that was it. They saw a young lady walk in and chose to try and pull one over on me. I would never bring my business back here again. read more

After waiting 2 hours to have my brakes and one caliber replaced they informed me it would be another 2 hours until it was done. I was told my pick up time would be 12:45 from the start. Before the work began I let them know I had to be done by a certain time in order to get my children from school and if it wasn't something they could do that I could reschedule. My car has been sitting for 2 hours and nothing has been done to it yet. I do not recommend coming here if you need things done in a timely manner. read more

Got conned. I'm a woman, it was my first time having someone other than family change my oil. I did not know how much it should cost. They charged me almost $70 for a simple oil change. Horrible experience.... First they had me reschedule three times to get a appointment so I didn't have to leave car. Then, I was told by manager the morning I went in "your leaving the car with us today" Unbelievable! After this debacle.... Get ready to have them harass and sell you everything under the sun even if you don't need it. They said I needed front end parts on both sides and I told them my family runs a inspection station and I'll have them look at it. A week later, I had the tech inspector I trust look at it... nothing was wrong and it passed inspection. Then, I looked over my bill and they overcharged me incorrectly for the wrong tire aspect ratio like I wouldn't notice. I had to call and go in twice to get refund and was greeted by manager.... "your killing me" because I forgot the invoice for my refund. Then, he didn't let my refund go through twice on my card so he could offer me a gift certificate.... no kidding.... and wouldn't give me a cash refund because the draw would be under balanced.. Finally after getting thoroughly harassed and options exhausted he decided to try my card again and it magically worked. They go above and beyond to explain everything and make sure you have all the information you need to make an informed decision. Had an appointment to have my truck inspected for a week before I brought it in. It sat on their lot for two days and I finally just went and picked it up because they weren't timely with getting the work done. I was giving this Pep Boys a shot instead of my usual car mechanic, but I learned my lesson. This is a new location. It used to be a Goodyear. I wasn't sure what to expect but I went because it was convenient. I was extremely pleased! The guys were really nice, funny, and honest. The manager, Bill, was very helpful. They talk walk-ins when they can, but making an appointment is never a bad idea. I like the location because I can walk to Panera Bread and the other shops in the strip mall. It makes the time go quicker if you have to wait on your vehicle. read more

This Pep Boys location is different ... The guys that run this shop are just awesome. They are busy but ... isnt that a good thing? If a shop is not busy ... there is a reason for it (because they suck) Bill the manager is awesome and takes pride in the work that comes out of his shop. I drive past 15 other shops to bring my business here. Brought them a set of fresh painted wheels with the plea to be careful not to scratch the paint for a tire mounting and balance... Not a single nick or scratch from the guys here. Pep boys in general can be sketchy ... this place is the exception. read more

This location is the worst! I've ordered tires twice from them and both times went to get them installed and they did not have said tires. They then told me I could drive to the other location and pick them up. After I'd already been promised the tire would be there and had to take off work. I will be getting my tire elsewhere since I will never return to Pep Boys again. read more

Bill the manger is a total jerk. Watched him intimidate a woman in front of me. He was aggressive, rude, and starred the lady down with eye contact that was 100% meant to be confrontational. Bill did the same to me, but at least I'm a guy. All I purchased was an oil change, and Bill managed to become annoyed and aggressive because he had to check me out. A manager who gets mad at customers, for being customers???? Pep Boys is gonna hop on here and give some cookie cutter apology, and a 1-800 number to call for corny coupons as an "apology". My husband made an appointment online for my truck to get new tires. He paid for the tires, installation etc. ahead of time online. The appointment was for 8 am this morning. It is now 3:55 pm and my truck is still sitting in the parking lot with the old tires on it. When I went in to find out what was going on, he said they they have had a busy day and haven't had time to get to it. What is the point of an appointment if it's going to take all day anyway? This is the second time I brought a vehicle here for tires and the last time, they took all day also. I was thinking it was a one time thing the first time, but now I think that's just the way both at this place runs. The manager is definitely not a customer driven person either. I will never use this location for anything. UPDATE: When I picked up my truck, the manager did apologize and gave me a coupon for a free oil change. I had a tire blow on Friday May 25th and tried to see on Saturday if there was a Pep Boys in Pittsburgh that could help me since that is where I bought my tires. The manager, Jim would not even send a technician to check tire air pressures soas to ensure my safe trip prior to driving 6 hours across the state. Told me it would be a two hour wait to do a 5 minute check with a hose . Will not be using Pep Boys for tires or auto services again. read more

This is one of the worst places to go in terms of service. I made an appointment to get my oil changed went in and they said they had five other people come in before me so it'd be a couple of hours before they could get to my car. Not sure why they'd allow you to make an appointment if they don't actually help you. The guy was very rude about it as well so I ended up leaving and will not go back there again. read more

This Pep Boys is the best. It sure saved me and my car. When I parked at work and suddenly steam started coming from under my hood and the car had left a trail of liquid down the drive, I thought that was the end of my car. My first thought was to get it to a auto repair while I still could--I choose Pep Boys because it was close and I have had good experiences with them. But I didn't realize what wonderful service I was about to get. The transmission was shot and thanks to their amazing manager,Bill, he assured me all was not hopeless. He personally took on the task of finding a replacement transmission and with his very experienced and talented mechanic could bring my car back to life. The price quoted was very reasonable and Bill also was able to get a discount. I would highly recommend them to anyone. read more
