    Anniversary adornment
    Michelle I.

Highly recommend this experience to anyone! The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, kind and made sure we had a great time. There was a good selection of scents, jars and adornments for the jar if you want. The experience was so worth it for the price and I can't wait to go back! They made us feel special as we were celebrating our anniversary with a custom sign and flowers!! great place to have fun with friends or family, and it's BYOB which is a plus!!

Had a fun time making my own candle today! Our instructor, who I believe is the owner, was super sweet and friendly. You got to create a candle from scratch. First you pick your scent and jar color, then you pour in the wax and mix in glitter if you want, then pour it into the container and decorate with petals. It's definitely a low energy, easy paced, calm activity. So you have plenty of time to talk with your friends and have some snacks. My group loved how the place was decorated and had fun music playing. I paid about $45 for this experience. Also something to note is that you'll have to do street parking and pay for that!

They were so friendly and welcoming, it was such an ugly rainy day yet they were so patiently waiting for everyone to arrive.

We brought pre made mimosas and I had extra cups and a bottle the two of us couldn't finished so I shared and we were all fraaans. Picking out what to put in is always my favorite part! Go big or go home and make it sparkle! There were some new female owned vendors, a little vintage rack outside which turned out to be a LIFESAVER. Ya see, my shoe strap broke as I was walking in from the other side of the building. The grass just got me! I was able to stick a nickel in the shoe to hold to strap to make it inside. Then it came out and the ladies in the other party were trying to help! Then the rest of the strap broke and it became now unwalkable. The owner walks in shortly after and sees the 'comotion' she gave me a pair of shoes of my choosing to make it home. That's kindness and it didn't go unnoticed!

This is a woman-owned business, and the owner (Ajia) supports other women-owned small businesses! There are items for sale from these other businesses on display to check out and purchase, such as soaps and jewelry. There is no pressure at all to buy or even to look, but if you see something you want then get it before it's gone! So, back to the candle bar. The setup is cozy and intimate as I believe there are 12 stools for 12 spots at any one session at the candle bar. You are walked through the entire process and provided everything you need, with lots of decorations to add to your soy candle and about 25 different scented oils to add to your candle, to get the perfect fragrance for your home! I think most of us mixed two scents together, and I chose Bamboo Coconut and Citrus Agave. I mean cmon, do you think you can go buy a candle with these two scents mixed into one? I think not! It's so amazing to have this experience without actually having to melt your own wax, clean whatever you melted the wax in, clean the beaker or measuring cup you mixed the scent in with the wax, and have anything to worry about other than showing up and leaving with a beautifully scented candle, that you made yourself! They take all the guesswork out and guide you every step of the way. The candle bar is open Thursday-Sunday and you make your reservations right online. This place is BYOB, and BYOF? Bring your own food? Yeah, both! So bring some snacks or grab a sandwich and a bottle of wine on the way, or a beer at the brewery downstairs and have a blast! I know you will, and you'll want to go back, and bring more friends, just like I do! Enjoy!

Phil and Chris were so accommodating and made the process so easy and fun! We were able to bring our own drinks and snacks and decorate the space for ourselves. We enjoyed smelling all the different oils and were able to mix the scents for our candles all while mingling and having a good time. zero stars, bad business, horrible customer service, sorry dalene, just calling you out, fitting…read moresince you never returned my calls either! so, cheap, yesssss, it was a warehouse. shitty product, double yesssssss! should you stay away????? yesssssssssssssss serves us right for thinking a company stood behind their product, dalene obviously doesnt, so maybe you shouldnt STAND on theirs! (OMG, im so good with yelpuns!) history. wife went looking for a new floor several months ago. she did her due diligence going to ANY flooring store in connecticut and landed on a few options, this seemed to be the most appropriate. seeing that we were on a budget, went to try their warehouse in hartford. getting in isnt easy, you need to make an appointment, but so it is sometimes. mike met us out there a couple days later and answered our questions, pretty hands off, but available should we ask anything (should have asked do you stand by your shitty product!) found something we liked, biggest concern was keeping it under 3 a sqft and loaded up the minivan (they did help us bring it out to the loading dock) and we loaded up out 700$ of new flooring and brought it back to the house. we unloaded, let it acclimate and then off to install, and curse, and lots of cursing!! the product kept breaking with little effort, after 8 (EIGHT!) boxes worth of attempts, we figured out this wasnt going to work. either the product snapped with install, or it popped apart if we could get a line done. finally after DAYS of effort down the crapper we knew this wasnt going to work and we needed an alternative. let me also put this in writing, this is a warehouse, its final sale. silly us as we assumed it wasnt going to be broken from the go, so in this case, i would have expected some sort of consideration, maybe just take back the unopened product, sure we were going to eat the 8 boxes of broken attempts, but at least its something back for money basically left to burn on the front lawn. ultimately we went with costco, yep, they sell flooring. Life Pro Tip, if you pick it up, its way cheaper then shipping (about $2.50 a sqft). after getting their product, the LVT snapped as it should, and off we went, took about 4 days non stop to get it installed, but 3 months later, still looks fantastic and better yet, we realized it wasnt our ability, it was Dalenes inferior product. well, as you would expect, we tried for MONTHS to get ahold of the GM, no returned calls or emails. i gotta tell ya, shocking considering how 'great' they were with follow up before they got our money. I even went into the manchester store and spoke with brian, he assured me someone was going to give me a call, only fair and respectful (his words) well, 3 weeks later, im still waiting and since they dont care, i figured i would share with the fine viewers of the internet. still looking for a flooring company? try costco! I stand by my flooring review (ok, i did use it twice, but its clever!)

Dalene Flooring Outlet Center has a great selection of tile, wood and carpet choices from basic to unique. Michael Leite was knowledgeable with a no fuss easy attitude. He was helpful without crowding me or trying to push a more expensive product over another.
