-This place and people are AMAZING. -These reviews on here…read moreare from years ago. I am sure there is New management. New employees. New vehicles. Everything. !!!!!! -I have nothing bad to say. They went above and beyond. The manager MIKE is very nice and he's working right beside everyone. Sign of a good boss. Only thing the young guy that wrote up my contract was on the phone with his friend the whole time chatting it up but this younger generation needs some manners!! LARRY checked me out. Nice funny guy. KEVIN checked me in also super nice caring guy. Installs and Knows a lot about towing and installing hitches. The truck ran well no issues. COME HERE they have TONS of trucks they will have what u need. They even include several moving blankets for free in the truck. Most size trucks have loading ramps. Yayy

I made an online reservation for a 10' truck, an equipment dolly rental, qty 2 4-wheel furniture dolly rental, and mats. I double checked the reservation online before going in. All good. I get there. No good news. None of the equipment I reserved was in the truck. I had left. I went back. Worse news. None of the equipment I reserved was available. I'm moving TODAY and this is totally unacceptable. They offered to SELL me the equipment they had. I requested an accommodation for the items to be free since their lack of inventory is there issue. The General manager would not accommodate at all. His excuse: they cannot offer equipment free of charge because that is how they keep inventory. I told him, I mean, you aren't keeping track of inventory anyways. I told them to remove those costs and rented the equipment last minute at Home Depot. Luckily they had what I needed and actually provided great customer service. This place does not. The man receiving back the truck also gave me attitude because I parked the vehicle in a parking spot instead of 5 feet away from his intake line. My bad? I'll pull it out, turn it back on, and move it 5 feet. Cool man. I asked for an itemized receipt and they could barely get it together behind the desk to figure it out. I will be reaching out to corporate with my complaints

WARNING ABOUT SHIPPING A VEHICLE WITH USHIP…read more I want to share my experience so hopefully it does not happen to someone else. I booked a vehicle shipment through UShip. Once my vehicle was picked up, things immediately went wrong. My car disappeared and I had no real information about the company that picked it up. When I contacted UShip for help, I was told to stop calling and only communicate through email with their legal department and customer support. After that, no one returned my calls, no one provided answers, and no one helped locate my vehicle. To make things worse, whoever had the car disabled my OnStar, so I could no longer track where the vehicle was going. When I asked UShip for the transporter's information, they claimed they did not collect or verify basic information such as insurance, DOT numbers, or even proof of who the transporter actually was. In other words, someone can pick up your car through their platform and they may not even know who they really are. Another thing people need to understand is this: when you voluntarily give your car to a transporter, many police departments will not list it as stolen if the vehicle disappears. They often treat it as a civil contract dispute, meaning they say no crime has been committed and tell you that you must sue the company yourself. If that happens, you may never see your car again, and in many cases your insurance company will not pay the claim because it was never officially listed as stolen. In my situation, I was fortunate that one detective took the time to review all the evidence I had gathered. Based on the information I provided, he agreed that this was not simply a contract dispute and had the vehicle listed as stolen. After doing my own investigation and working with law enforcement, I was able to obtain historical OnStar location data showing where the vehicle had traveled. That information led police to an operation where vehicles were being loaded into shipping containers to be sent overseas. My car was found inside one of those containers, and law enforcement recovered around 30 stolen vehicles that were returned to their owners. If that detective had not taken the time to listen and list the vehicle as stolen, I likely would have never recovered my car and my insurance company would never have paid the claim. My advice: be extremely careful about who you trust to ship your vehicle. Make sure you know the transporter, their insurance, their DOT registration, and who is actually responsible for your car. Based on my experience, *using UShip can leave you completely unprotected if something goes wrong.

Broken ripped and lost pieces. Absolutely the worst and won't be responsible…read more Do not use this company you'll be sorry

As someone who had extensive experience working in the moving industry in sales and dealing with…read morebrokers etc etc.. And also someone who has worked for a top notch 5 star company and 3 and 4 star companies as well.. I have to say this place needs alot of work. First, the rep I dealt with Eli who is a good kid overall hits you with too many of the we are going to do this and that and I can assure you sales rebuttles that most moving companies that don't do these things actually don't do. And while he is again an overall good dude, he hit me a million times about getting on the schedule and doing all he could but the moment the move was finally set, he completely disappeared for the most part as soon as the contract was signed and the move happened. Nobody followed up to check in and see how things went etc etc.. Not one person. That right there is a red flag and when he asked me the difference between a 5 star company and one that is not.. well there you go a fine example. Which leads me to Amelia who is the one who reaches out when confirming moves. Again very nice, but she needs to work on paying attention to specifics as Eli needs to work on as well. They are far from organized. Amelia however, needs to work on understanding and speaking English better and most importantly should actually do what she says she will do. So don't tell me you are going to do this and that when you didn't look into half if it and didn't call me back when you said you were going to either. I have the emails for record. Now to the move. The foreman Ken showed up with 2 guys at our pickup in the Miami area and delivered and unloaded with 1 guy to our destination in the Tampa area. Ken, is experienced and hard working. On day 1 his guys not so much. The one guy was supposedly experienced and worked for Bekins at a point and the other guy who it was his first day had very little energy. Very slow moving, well both of them outside of Ken. Most importantly they did not do what I was told they would from Eli and did not wrap and pack everything. Ken having experience you figured would do this but didn't. I don't know if it was cause he didn't have guys he could depend on or what cause.. My custom made oak record shelves, left untouched. My daughters rocking chair, my hamper, iron board, and a bunch of other things left to have no wrapping or packing at all!! My dining table received the worst blanket job I have ever seen!! No stretch wrap on anything. The legs were left to untreated completely. Thankfully it survived. Thankfully my wife and I and especially and thankfully her packed everything. I can't imagine what our stuff would look like if we got them to do it. Which leads me to the next thing. I was told by Eli and Amelia if we had less stuff on the day of the price would be adjusted. Well it wasn't!! When I said to Ken, that I feel Eli overestimated way too many cubic feet after I decided to move my home recording studio equipment on my own, he said yeah he did. Not a question. Eli said we had 1500 plus cuft which and over estimation is smart so there no surprises. However, when they load and I say Ken what do you think, 1000-1100 cuft (again I was in the business for years) and he says that looks about right. More red flags!!! Okay so less stuff. Where's my price adjustment!!???? Still, Ken did what he promised the next day and got on the road at 4-430am and met us up in Tampa. He had just the new guy with him who was a lot more hardworking on day 2 so I made sure I tipped them both well. They put 90 percent of everything where we asked but overall would I hire them again. Doubtful. My advice. If someone comes by and does an onsite and says its hard to determine everything cause space wise you have so much in the shed. They are not experienced enough just yet and be aware of that. Which leads me to this. Eli, if you had your own company don't broadcast that either cause I can see why it didn't succeed. Which doesn't mean you couldn't be successful at it later but when you tell people these things you give them certain expectations that when the mark is not met you look foolish. Overall, I appreciate the buddy buddy conversation etc etc But this is business. And your company did not meet the mark at all. Quite honestly this is really 2.5 stars but the price keeps you at 3.
