I picked up the chairs the next day. It was a little more than $5 to rent two chairs for three days. They had another guy bring them out to my car for me. The chairs were sturdy and not terribly uncomfortable. Returning the chairs was just as quick and easy as getting them. Will be back if I need to rent some chairs or other items that they carry. They've got a lot of stuff, so if you're having an event, this might be your source!

They told me I would need to come back later (I did not have time to return--it was a 20 minute drive to get there) and they refused to refund the $24 charge. The worst part was that they lied to me and told me that my contract said that I couldn't pick things up until noon. Nowhere on the contract did it say that. In fact the hours were prominently stated in more than one spot as 7:30 AM - 5 PM. I checked the website too and did not find that statement anywhere. If you are going to stick me for a $24 charge at least don't lie about it and blame me for the problem. You could admit your mistake and just tell me tough luck on the charge. What a terrible way to run a business!

Unfortunately, the code we were given didn't work at all! Several people tried entering it and it never worked to open the gate. We tried get a hold of someone at the business but nobody answered. We left a message for the business about the issue and to return the call and nobody ever called back. We ended up having to call UHaul's main support hub and they reserved a vehicle at a UHaul across town. In total, we wasted almost 2 hours trying to get this truck.

If I could give a negative rating I would. NEVER rent from Penske in Eagan, MN. Worst service ever…read more Was quoted $69.99 for a daily rental, which included a $40.00 premium due to it being a late rental. When the truck was dropped off was charged 10 times that price. And that is not an exaggeration, almost $1,000 for a 10 hour truck rental. When the contract was being reviewed price was never discussed, just sign here, trusted they charged what they quoted, HUGE mistake. Was in no hurry to move, still had 30 days, never, ever would have knowingly approved such an outrageous price. DO NOT TRUST them, they will lie. When the charge was disputed the local manager said there are witnesses to this price being given, that is an outright lie. Talked to corporate office and the local store, the response is too bad it is a legally binding contract. That is understood but how ethical is it to increase the price 10 times, not double, the price was increased 10 times the quoted price. Don't let them fool you, Penske has done nothing to resolve this issue. The price for this truck is $29.99 plus mileage, we agreed to a premium price of $69.99 due to late rental. We were charged $699.99, and told too bad you signed the agreement. Don't trust them to charge what they agreed to.

I don't rent very often and when I do it is usually a truck for moving. I was in between…read moreapartments and had to rent a truck twice, once to move from apartment to storage and another time to move from storage to apartment...You get the idea. My first experience here was really easy, the truck was $39.99 + Tax and suited all my needs. There was some confusion over my method of payment, they authorize a card for $250 for deposit then you get charged after the rental is returned for whatever the cost is plus mileage, gas, etc. The $250 then gets put back on your card, well in my case they accidentally charged my card, luckily they were able to refund it and there was really no harm done. My second experience was just as easy, I asked for the same thing I had a month ago and there was no questions asked. Once I payed I notice the rate is suddenly $49.99 + Tax. There is no price listing I can find on the web site and when I asked about the change I was told they just moved their rates on the 1st of the month. Seemed a little fishy to me especially since it was May 1st and I was specific in asking for the same thing I just had less than 30 days ago. I would think at the time i was filling out paper work before actually renting the truck someone would have mentioned, "Hey, by the way our rates changed starting this month and it is different from your last rental". I didn't really feel valued as a customer who came back twice in a month to rent equipment and was a little upset I wasn't informed about the change in price. I guess I will stick to my normal process for renting when I need to...Cheapest Option Wins.
