Initially I was hesitate on coming here because of the ratings and I wanted my friend to get the best care possible but it was the closest ER to where we were at at the time. The waiting room was clean and the intake people at the front were kind. The triage nurse was polite and efficient at her job. We had Dr. Sam Wood as our doctor and he was so marvelous and wonderful. He knew my friend and I were pre-health so he walked us through his entire procedure/process and made us feel really comfortable our entire visit. Thank you, Dr. Wood for making this experience amazing despite the accident that occurred resulting in us having to visit the ER!

I have had less pain and bruising in my arm than my previous one, and that is to her credit! You could tell that Joy really cares about all the patients and keeping them comfortable. My pressure bandage was wrapped nice and tight, there was no rush (waited for the lidocaine to kick in), and steri-strips were used to minimize scarring. The waiting room is clean and my appointment was on time, the entire staff was all smiles, and there were no creepy protesters/hecklers out front.

I like Rothman a lot. I have been a patient for many years. However my recent experience did not…read moremeet my expectations. That is, I went to urgent care for severe back pain i was experiencing. I have been treated at Rothman over the years. I was seen and prescribed medication. However when i went to the pharmacy to pick up the order, it had not been sent. I immediately tried calling the office at 3:15 pm knowing they close at 3:30, but did not get an answer. I had to wait for the next day in pain to call them again for the Rx. Now, I get it, people make mistakes, but when dealing with peoples health and well being, mistakes can not be an option. I will continue to use Rothman and i hope that this review helps strengthen whatever policy (answering the phone) failed in this instance. I will ask for paper scripts as well in the future as a backup.

My wife has a knee revision (replaced the replacement botched by another surgeon at another…read morepractice) and we can't say enough good things about Rothman. We highly recommend. Dr. Kugelman is top notch. My wife has a lot of health issues making her surgery far from routine. He was cautious, insisted on speaking to her various specialists beforehand, followed up in detail afterwards to make sure she was getting the care she needed, and was always kind and considerate. He insists he treats every patient like they are family, and we believe it. It's a several hour drive for us to any of the rothman locations but we feel it is well worth it. Our only complaint is the annoying kiosks you're required to sign in on for each visit. Which you then just rehash everything with the receptionist anyway. But that is the way most medical offices are today so LOL!

Questions treated with annoyance. And then the bill to insurance - $900 for a foot exam with barely a touch. No examination of gait, posture, flexibility or movement. This is an example of what is wrong with Health Care.
