My wife has a knee revision (replaced the replacement botched by another surgeon at another practice) and we can't say enough good things about Rothman. We highly recommend. Dr. Kugelman is top notch. My wife has a lot of health issues making her surgery far from routine. He was cautious, insisted on speaking to her various specialists beforehand, followed up in detail afterwards to make sure she was getting the care she needed, and was always kind and considerate. He insists he treats every patient like they are family, and we believe it. It's a several hour drive for us to any of the rothman locations but we feel it is well worth it. Our only complaint is the annoying kiosks you're required to sign in on for each visit. Which you then just rehash everything with the receptionist anyway. But that is the way most medical offices are today so LOL! read more

Doylestown location at Doylestown Hospital - Penn Med. 10 minute office visit. Dr. Fuchs in a rush. unless you are a candidate for surgery you are dismissed. Questions treated with annoyance. And then the bill to insurance - $900 for a foot exam with barely a touch. No examination of gait, posture, flexibility or movement. This is an example of what is wrong with Health Care. read more

Sent PA in first to review knee issue. Looked puzzled and actually said we don't have anything for this. Then surgeon comes in with little else. Highly overrated - stick to Penn in Philly - they are not afraid to help you with a complex case. Also got an $800 bill for that ten minutes. read more

Absolutely terrible. This place is the literal "McDonalds" of orthopedic medicine. The main concern here is how fast they can get you out of the office. They don't care how long it takes you to get in (that's on your dime) I had surgery for both Mortons neuroma and metatarsalgia and no kidding, I didn't have a full 10 minutes of conversation with the Dr....that's combined conversations from beginning to end!!! It was always "Yep, em hmm...ok...em hmmm right..." terrible. My foot is worse than when I started. Ive since gone elsewhere where I'm not treated like a hunk of meat. read more

If I could give a zero-star rating, I would. Dr. Frederick incorrectly diagnosed my problem, leading to an unnecessary surgery. To top it off, he operated in a different area than discussed (wrong site surgery) and removed a perfectly good piece of hardware from another area. The surgical center complacently went through protocols to check boxes and never questioned the red flags that they should have caught. Of course, they're claiming it was all a miscommunication and denying any responsibility. I will never use Rothman again. read more

Visited with my son who had pain in his shoulder... enough so, that we decided to visit the walk/in clinic. From start to finish, the experience was excellent. The woman who checked us in was super friendly, the care provided was efficient, etc. The highlight was our PA, Courtney. Super knowledgeable, answered ALL of our questions (even a few I called with post-visit), and took excellent care in diagnosing and offering treatment suggestions at home. I have been to Rothman for... 1. Broken ankle 2. Torn rotator cuff 3. Torn labrum (ongoing with them right now through this) I have been to the urgent care at this location, the offices, and the surgery center. All of my experiences have been efficient, pleasant, and helpful. The urgent care was wild--I was able to get help, schedule follow-up appointments & scans, etc. all during my time in urgent care. If you have an Orthopaedic need, I would highly recommend this location of Rothman. read more

11/21/19 I was desperate for immediate help from a specialist after suffering a severe shoulder blade/back injury with pain so severe I considered the emergency room almost daily for the last 10 days. When I initially called as a new patient, I was given a date of December 18th and that's a long time to suffer excruciating pain. The scheduler tried to find the soonest appointment looking at other offices. I got December 6. I ended up calling back because to wait 2 1/2 weeks is unbearable. The schedulers set me up with a consultation the following day. I was so appreciative. I saw a physicians assistant Carmen Carrera. He was very personable and I could tell was intently listening to me describe my symptoms. I felt very welcome from the check in front desk ladies, to the assistant, to the PA. I provided recent x rays. I was examined briefly (reflexes, strength tests, etc) and no further tests were deemed necessary. I suffered a muscle sprain with pain that took my breath away. My family dr had said the same and prescribed muscle relaxers and anti inflammatory medications . I was prescribed physical therapy, but I won't bother -6 weeks to heal. The building is impressive and brand new at Rothman and near the limerick Auto Mall. I'm told that they've even built a hospital at the same campus. It will be open in the very near future. I'm so thankful to have this degree of healthcare right here, in my beautiful backyard. read more

Very disappointed in this place. I started out at limerick walk in center, 2 ladies at the front desk and neither one of them were nice. The whole time I sat in the waiting all they did was talk about the patients coming in and making snarky comments not caring if we could here them. I followed up with Dr oneil, the ladies on the second floor were so nice compared to downstairs. I kept seeing a lady calling patients with the sweetest smile and was really sweet with every patient she would get. At first i thought "wow much better compared to the care downstairs" Unfortunately I didn't get her. I had a big lady call me back she was very rude and inappropriate, as im walking behind her shes talking to a lady with red hair literally yelling through the office. In the room didn't even go through my health information or medications you could tell she just wanted to get out of the room. Nobody will want to come back to Rothman having that type of treatment. read more

I had a Achilles tendon rupture while playing basketball and did a surgery at Rothman two days ago on 25th. Two days passed, the Doctor office still has not sent over the prescription to the pharmacy I use. The pain level has been increasing each day, and now it became hard to tolerate, and I really need the antibiotics that Doctor supposed to sent to the CVS. For such a reminder or request, there is no direct phone line or email address we can contact the doctor or his assistant, we left a couple of urgent msg with the doctor's assistant Stephanie yesterday and we have not got a response. We called the general phone number many times, and the phone wait time is usually over 20 minutes each time, We did finally speak to someone yesterday, the agent on the other end took the details of our request and told me that the doctor gonna call the CVS or me back yesterday, and we still have not received a call yet. And now the general phone line says all the staff are on lunch break and no one answering the phone call. I don't want to mention the Doctor's name, because I do have high respect for him and the problem more likely lies with the communications system at Rothman. I do feel extremely painful and frustrated at the moment, otherwise, I would not leave a comment here. It is a simple phone call from Rothman to CVS, and would save lots of inconvenience and trouble for a patient that just had a surgery. Went to Rothman Urgent care in Limerick for a very painful knee. I could barely walk. Saw a PA and then a doctor. I had xrays and the team determined that cortisone shots would help. Terrible place. Terrible doctors. Dr. Adam Chrusch was the most belittling, disrespectful doctor I ever went to. I was trying to find the source of my knee pain, and get some help with it. He told me deal with it. By the time he was done I was crying. Then I asked for a slip to get some time off work to rest. He told me he would not and don't think i would get paid for it either. ( his exact words) He had no idea what i did for a living. I believe because I am female he assumed I sit behind a desk. I work electrical in a man's field. But he probably has no clue what that means or what work that entails. And I had a years sick time accumulated that I could use after working for 35 years and not abusing it. I was still trying to talk to him as he was walking out of the appt. Rothman must have a strict time schedule to push people through. Then I get the miserable assistant to send me on the way. Never would I recommend Rothmans to anyone. read more

Great Practice! My daughter fractured her thumb right before we were going on vacation. The receptionist was extremely nice and fit her into the schedule quickly. We had very little wait time. Dr Liss was great and made sure we had a solution that would work for a beach vacation. The people that made the brace were really great and went over and above to help. read more

My 12 year old son broke his foot. We went through the urgent care in Limerick (at almost 8 at night). They set us up with Dr. Langman first thing the next morning in the King of Prussia Office and EVERYONE there was great. We followed up, again, in Limerick to have his cast removed, and the process was quick and easy. They have urgent care - x-ray - mri - non-surgical and surgical doctors - orthotics - physical therapy - ALL under one roof. Everyone we met was great with my son. I hope to never NEED them again, but I would certainly use them again, if needed. read more

i had back surgery the 23rd of september , i had put it off for many years , i am so glad i finialy had it done . it was half the surgery i was recomended to have from doctors in reading . the moment i came to after surgery i had no pain at all . dr. kurd was my surgeon and i thank him every day i get up . he also took care of my grandson who had to have surgery after a sever hockey injury , he also had to have a bone graft . he was fully recovered in less than three months and has no further problems since , and for this i thank him greatly . there hospital and all staff were the most pleasant to deal with , and i thank them also . robert w. haueisen read more

one goes here because of pain, however, upon getting x-rayed, the patient has to decide? which pain is worse to get the one pain x-ray special! if i am here, then i have pain everywhere! then one is shown the x-rays stating this and this and then, a rheumatologist may be required, then possibly therapy, mris, and down the road maybe surgery! well, wrapping up, mris can be done at the same location, yeah!!! no more touring pa to find an mri place. now, after getting an appointment, i asked if this was a closed mri, yes, so i was sent back to the surgeon to get a prescription for a one time medication to get me through my claustrophobia. well, the surgeon would not give me a one time prescription, but i could again tour pa and find another "open" mri facility! at this point, i canceled everything. stress and anxiety were now taking over and causing more pain? I came to get pain relief, not to come out more depressed! Dr. Sharma, kind, but not concerned at all for the patient! And, staff is very cold and rude, except for one receptionist who was kind and patient. is it just me, or do doctor's just see the patient as a $ sign? you bet, they just keep outsourcing the patient to a million other doctors, mri facilities, but truly have not done a thing for the pain, but they sure add up the green and greed and leave a senior on a limited income with no hope of ever getting the chance to get well, just bilking them out of their rent money, food, well, no life!!! I was at urgent care 12/23/18. I was very disappointed. I was treated poorly by the receptionist she was very rude. When I came out of the room the receptionist was looking at xrays on her computer and completely ignored me. To me that was very inappropriate she shouldn't be looking at other patients charts while having another patient infront of her. The Dr ordered an MRI and the receptionist ended up writing it because the nurse refused to do it. The receptionist used the wrong code when I told her the code on my script was wrong she said it didn't matter and she just looked like she didn't care at all. My mri got denied because of the wrong code. read more

I went to Rothman Urgent Care yesterday for ankle swelling and ankle pain. Very easy check-in and no wait. Took me right over to have x-rays done. Then the doctor came in to see me. No breaks. She asked me a few questions about any previous ankle injuries. She then looks at my ankles and asks if they are swollen right now. (Seriously??!! I am overweight, but I don't have cankles! I have shown others the swelling and it was quite obvious to them all.) I told her, Yes they are swollen right now. She asked me Where is the swelling located? Really, it is obvious! She did no assessment of my ankles. She did not move them around or have me move them, press on them, nothing. Then she tells me she thinks it is a circulation issue. Really???! Because I have no tingling or numbness in my feet, or any other extremity, no swelling in my feet or legs, my feet are not cold and the swelling and pain gets worse the more I am on my feet or walking. I will be going to my primary doctor instead. At least my primary won't need to do x-rays! And, I was given NO paperwork or copies of the x-rays from the visit. read more

I went 2 this medical facility two months ago and I received follow up care for an injured finger condition termed mallet finger which seemed2 go well at first but when I called to rescheduled follow up appt to actually move it up they told my physician was on vacation and that I could use their trauma unit for my follow up so I assumed I would c a specialized physician instead a PA seen me which I was disappointed with because I was not absolutely satisfied really never assessed my finger or explain next recommended course of action she was most likely filling in for regular physicians who were on vacation I'msorry when I pay $100 each visit I should c a physician I work as a barber so proper care of my hands r important and vital I just don't feel I got any response when I called back in the same week to b seen again I was told I would b charged an additional $100. I personally don't feel that is a good way of doing business I would rather give that $100 to the SPCA because dogs need good treatment just sounding off I would like to know that I'm not the only person who experienced such service read more
