I ordered well done, and if that's well done, their standard is under cooked. Sauce & cheese were unremarkable. The bright spot was the sliced Italian sausage topping. The sausage still had "snap". I prefer this over crumbles. The italian sausage was good and had good flavor. The pierogie pizza was a swing and a hard miss. It was borderline inedible; dry beyond belief. Large pieces of partially fried/ sautéed onions. Dry French fries (which I found odd) and bacon crumbled haphazardly applied. If there was a sauce of any kind, it evaporated. It was difficult to determine if there was even a true pierogie on it. I did locate some type of instant mashed potatoes when I diseasected a piece. It was a complete flavorless mess in my culinary opinion. We sampled the breaded and fried mushrooms. I am disappointed to report that they had an aftertaste of a cleaning product. The sauce that accompanied was flavorless. This is my honest review. If someone had a better experience, kudos to you. We won't be returning. #rushieeats

Really? Pickles and peppers are the power windows of the sandwich world--they should come standard. Instead, it's $1 for hot or sweet peppers and 75 cents for pickles. Come on. At that price point, I might as well hit up Spinnerstown Hotel or Limeport Inn--same cost, but with gourmet dishes and local ingredients.

I stopped in on a visit to Southside Bethlehem. The building and shop are as I remember them. The customer service was great. We ordered a large half pepperoni and cheese pizza. The pizza was delicious. I enjoyed the crispy dough. It was perfectly golden. We also ordered BBQ wings. Those were just okay. They had too much sauce and I simply did not enjoy the quality of the wings. Prices were reasonable. The restrooms were clean. They have a private parking lot whereas most of the area has metered street parking. I enjoyed the nostalgic visit. Loved the pizza, next time I'll pass on the wings and I'll try a different menu item.
