Yesterday my mom, my uncle and I wanted to go do some self care since we just moved from Colorado to Florida 14 days ago. I called 6 nail salons and none could accommodate us at the same time, totally understand. I called joy nails and they were so kind right off the bat and got us in within 30 minutes. The salon itself was beautiful and the atmosphere was so positive. The lady next to us was a returning customer as well and the banter with David was just hilarious. We requested a pedi for my uncle (his first time and he seemed to enjoy it!) My mom and I got fresh sets. I requested a new gel x set which meant soaking off my old set, then starting a fresh one. Because I had indents in my nails due to the previous set I got in Colorado, he told me it wouldn't be safe to do gel x and acrylic would be better. He executed my French tip perfectly and his wife did my mom's flower cat eye better than anyone she's ever been to. David also made a very good point, I'm in Florida now so nails are better. However, it wasn't just that, spending money and an hour of your time somewhere can be really hard sometimes and they were great people to be around. I had a great experience, thank you so much!

Everyone is so friendly and fun and always cracking jokes when I'm getting my nails done the vibe is great and the nails always look perfect when I'm done. I normally come here to get my eyebrows done and have never had an issue with that service, so I decided to give their nail service a try. Unfortunately, it was a huge mistake. The quality of my nails was unacceptable. The acrylic is uneven and lumpy, the polish isn't smooth, and you can feel bumps on the nails. The cuticle area looks messy, and my right thumbnail was filed down so much that it's almost the same size as my natural nail. The shaping and thickness are inconsistent from nail to nail. When I politely pointed out the issues, the nail technician kept contradicting me instead of listening to my concerns. Rather than acknowledging what I was showing him, he insisted there was nothing wrong and made me feel like my concerns didn't matter. To make matters worse, my finger and the skin around my nail have been painful since the appointment. Now I have to spend even more money at another nail salon just to have these nails fixed because I don't trust this salon to correct them properly. I had originally planned to get my eyebrows done during the same visit, but after seeing the quality of the nail service and how my concerns were handled, I decided not to. I've attached photos so others can judge the quality for themselves. I expected professional work and respectful customer service. Instead, I left disappointed, in pain, and having to pay another salon to fix the damage. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this salon.
