While chewing food the inside front of my front upper lip is victim of my bite, finishing that dinnertime happens a lot. My top lip contacts the lower lip way before my teeth are anywhere near closing. I can fold my upper lip up over my teeth and into my mouth. He said "well obviously are not happy, you should see someone else". HOW MANY TIMES HAS HE SAID THAT TO HIS VICTIMS. Dr Alex takes the time to explain everything in detail and I enjoy the conversations between the staff during cleanings. It's the worst when i can feel tension between coworkers. Dr Robert (Bob) the orthodontist- also nice, however I got aligners and the past 5 weeks have been a hell of a struggle for a new patient. I have been on Google searching for answers, tips for newbies and ways to help get through the pain. In that time, I've had regular checkups, some fillings, a bridge, replacement crown etc. The care I and my wife have received is outstanding, and the support staff members are professional and very friendly. I've recommended them to friends and strangers for many years. They have a very solid appointment reminder system that calls you a few days ahead and then emails you on the day of the appointment. Virtually impossible to forget an appointment and no need to add it to any other schedule you may keep. If you have to call to miss an appointment these days, they are very understanding, but with their new air filtration systems and safety protocols, there is no need to be concerned, and I have never cancelled for Covid concerns. They do not add any surcharges for the new safety efforts.

I have been a patient of Dr. Vavrik's for over 30 years. At one point I was driving 40 miles one…read moreway to get to him! Now I happily live only 5 minutes from his office. Not only is he is an excellent dentist... he is gentle, caring and very attentive to keeping his patients as pain free as possible. He never makes me feel rushed... and has a warm genuine personality. His hygienists and front office staff are all well trained and likewise pleasant to work with. That all of his staff has been with him long term, (ten years or more), says a lot. His office and parking are conveniently located. Years ago when my father was visiting me from out-of-state and having an issue with his new dental bridge... Dr. Vavirik graciously adjusted it for him at no charge. I would highly recommend Dr. Vavrik to anyone... but especially to people who get nervous about going to the dentist. Dr. Vavrik will put you at ease and take good care of your dental needs. I have referred other friends who have stayed with him long term too.
