James wrapped all of our old trim with aluminum to make it look brand new while maintaining the architecture of our home with three stained glass windows. He is very personable, communicative, and will offer the right solutions for your unique project. On top of that, prices are very reasonable for the exceptional quality and care he puts into your project compared to the competition. The only issue I had with Bennett & Sons was not hiring them sooner. I am very pleased with their service and communication throughout the process and plan to hire them back in the spring to take on another project. 10 out of 10.

It turns out I'd written my glowing review on Angie's List, not Yelp. So I'd like to say the same here for anyone looking for a reliable locksmith. Derek fit me in at a busy time when we were about to go on vacation and needed a new lock ASAP. He answered my phone message right away, showed up, and did the job well. The locks he suggested and installed are handsome yet tough. All the keys he cut worked. He's a quiet, hardworking locksmith who didn't push expensive things on us--just a sturdy deadbolt lock and handset locks that do the job. He lives near Amherst, so that was a plus since we like to use local, trustworthy people.

Amazing service!…read more After being burned by some local roofers, I happened upon Hawkins Roofing. I had been told that my entire slate roof needed to come down...that it couldn't be fixed...that the structure would have to be moved...ect ect ect. Mitch Hawkins came in and said, "no problem!" He was responsive to my calls and very easy to get a long with. In three days he (with his dog, Roy) fixed my entire roof, stopped the leaking, and put in some gaurds to prevent further problems. On top of that, he cleaned my gutters and checked into some other things while he was up there. The end result came in under the estimate and it looks amazing!

Repeated emails received one word replies, followed by radio silence. Thank God I had a contract and had paid via credit card. It took a few months, but after a thorough investigation, my bank reversed the charges. I still have to pay someone to remove the faulty gutters and repair damage to the fascia board, but I consider myself lucky. I recommend Wilson Construction for the fine work they have done at our home. The project was a…read morere-roofing of a rather large home, which required removal of existing shingles, repair of any deteriorated wood under shingles and on the dormer, replacement of skylights, installation of shingles and flashing, total clean-up of all construction debris, and re-attachment of gutters and drain pipes at the completion of the job. The estimate was written in a plain and concise manner for which all services and materials were accounted. Wilson was not the cheapest estimate received, but not the most expensive either. Their presentation gave us much confidence in their craftsmanship ability. The project began close to projected start date and proceeded daily until completion. The employees were always cordial and respectful, showing up when they said they would and working a full day. We were always able to contact Pete on the phone if we had any concerns. My impression was that Wilson Const. cared about producing the product we were requesting. As projected in the estimate, all was completed and the site was totally cleaned up. While there was much additional work required for the replacement of bug infested wood in addition to the installation and both the structural and finish carpentry for the project, Wilson Const. charged a fair price for all the additional work. I, myself, have been in the building trades for most of my life and have since retired. Wilson Const. did not overcharge us for the additional work, though a company of less integrity would probably have tried. They stuck to their quote and truly provided services equally priced compared to the current going rate. My partner and I are truly satisfied with the quality and pricing in adherence to the estimate they gave earlier. So if you are searching for a company with serious craftsmanship skills and high integrity, I recommend Wilson Const. They will give you both quality and a timely product within their estimated price and time frame. We have since had Wilson Const. back for another project of repair to our rutted gravel drive way and have again received excellent results. Best of luck to all of you on your new construction project! By all means, consider Wilson Construction. ml

Austin came over soon after we made our request, gave us a fair quote, and began the first part of the repair soon after. The project was in two parts because part of the damage was under solar panels. So we paid for what he did, and stayed in touch as the installers weren't able to get to us for weeks. Final roofing work happened yesterday, and he also replaced two shingles that had fallen since he'd left (not his fault). Easy to communicate with, generally responded same day or next day. We signed a contract for a redesign of a first floor bathroom, intending to proceed with the…read morebuilding portion. However, several warning flags caused us to stop after the redesign was drafted (contract fullfilled). First, we asked for an informal idea of what a whole new addition would cost. The answer was beyond our budget so we went with the redesign. When we were satisfied with the redesign drawings, the cost estimate for the redesign came in close to the whole addition cost! This was extremely frustrating since the redesign was a much smaller project than an addition. Second, we went through three design reviews. Each time, the project manager said they would get back to us in a week or two. But, each time, they actually got back to us about two months later! Without any communication in between! This was a deal breaker. To summarize: poor cost (under) estimates and abysmal lack of communication told us they lacked estimating skills and, crucially, that our project was at the bottom of their to-do list. Our takeaway about Integrity is that they prefer to work on high end, full house projects and only take on smaller redesigns to "fill in" their schedule, with consequently poor effort.
