Thankfully, that walk led us to Rita's. This was my first ever visit to a Rita's and as someone who loves Italian ice, I was pleasantly surprised. Since I was in the South, I figured it was only fitting to order the Georgia Peach Italian Ice. Was it life changing? No, not really. But, was it refreshing and flavorful? Absolutely. The location was busy, with a line, but it moved efficiently and the staff kept things moving. They were very friendly, too! Always love good customer service!!! I have to admit, I was a little shocked by the prices, but judging by the crowd, Rita's seems to have a loyal following. Overall, it was a sweet ending to an otherwise mixed evening and I would definitely get a sweet frozen treat from Rita's in the future!

She went for chocolate with their version of Heath bar crunch, and I ordered vanilla with peanut butter cups. Both were excellent, and the small size was exactly right. Honestly, Rita's stands strong enough on its own that it doesn't need a topping and we'll get plain next time. This location is a small kiosk with a couple of umbrella-covered tables and no dining room. [Round number review 1400 in South Carolina - 275 of 2026 - 25464 overall]

Not a place you would want to actually stay and eat in. Both locations I have been to have been absolutely freezing. I was happy to be able to leave. The food product is basic, a tiny bit expensive for everyday ingredients but normal overall, fresh and healthy. It's like exactly what you would make at home except you have to pay and wait for Someone to make it for you. So if you are that busy--this is a good spot for you. Overall, I think this company does a great job with what they are offering. My only reason for less than 5 stars is the staffing. The staff is great, friendly, etc. But it is slow..like really slow to get your food. I have gone in a couple Of times for lunch, been the only person and it still took like 15 mns to get my smoothie. I think they are just understaffed, but I also think the employees just work at thier own pace. I had the same team member take my order, make my Order, and deliver my order. That's okay when it's just me, but when they are helping 5 people plus mobile orders, plus handling checkout--its just too Much for one person to manage. So just be mindful of that. I am grateful to have a healthy option for quick food that is close to my house though.
