We needed a little refreshing treat after a long day of unpacking and this place definitely hit the spot! There is SO many flavors to choose from. Italian ice and 'SnoBalls'. We are familiar with with shaved ice where we are from but tonight we wanted the very very thin ones which is snowballs. Italian ice to me is a thicker heavier shaved ice. I was taking pics and the owner Margie came out to see if we had any questions. I assume we looked confused as there was 2 different kinds of choices of shaved ice. She explained the difference and we did indeed make the right choice :) she was SO nice and friendly. When I'm telling you this, I'm not lieing. What a gem!!! She even let us try the Italian ice which was amazing as well. I even joked in a few years my son should get a job here ;) it's a laid back atmosphere with tables, bean bag game/cornhole. We all agreed we LOVED it and it is amazing. We will become regulars for sure!! Thank you Margie for being so sweet and welcome. See you soon!

Now it seems that Laurinburg has caught onto the shaved ice craze. The family brought me here on a warm summer night and it was the perfect treat. Shave ice with all kinds of flavors for every taste; even a "sno-ball" variety with ice cream in the middle. The treats theirselves could be enough to bring you there but the business also has a small playground with stuff to keep the young'uns busy after they're all jacked up on their sugar rush. Don't now how well they do in the winter but this is definitely the place to go on the hot, muggy Carolina summer days. I hope these guys do well.

Pros: -Syrup is plentiful and they have an extensive menu. Confused: -Why were we asked if it our snowballs were to stay or to go? What's the difference.... it's ice in a cup. Cons: - I got a flavor advertised on a sign. It apparently came with a gummy shark. THEY CHARGED FIFTY CENTS FOR A SINGLE 1 1/2 INCH GUMMY SHARK. They don't mound above the cup. I got a large and it started more than an inch down the cup. For FIVE DOLLARS. Oy. Even though there was no ice mounded, the syrup was still literally running down every side of the cup. Why? The workers were not friendly. C'mon, you sling snowballs.
