Pros: -Syrup is plentiful and they have an extensive menu. Confused: -Why were we asked if it our snowballs were to stay or to go? What's the difference.... it's ice in a cup. Cons: - I got a flavor advertised on a sign. It apparently came with a gummy shark. THEY CHARGED FIFTY CENTS FOR A SINGLE 1 1/2 INCH GUMMY SHARK. They don't mound above the cup. I got a large and it started more than an inch down the cup. For FIVE DOLLARS. Oy. Even though there was no ice mounded, the syrup was still literally running down every side of the cup. Why? The workers were not friendly. C'mon, you sling snowballs. read more

Way overpriced. Cheaper snowballs at many other places on the strand. only reason it was not one star is because of the high school kid named Maddy who was working there and went above and beyond. Super sweet kid working by herself when there was a line at the window AND at the drive through. My kids were fighting and even though she was completely overwhelmed, she made it a point to throw ice at them and flash them a warming smile from a "big girl" to distract them so they started having fun. Experience was 4 stars. Food was 1 star. I like that they have enough faith in a high school kid to run the walk-up and drive-through by herself in 90+ degree weather with no help for an overheated crowd. Maddy did great. The operation, on the other hand, needs work. Maybe providing a shady overhang for customers would be a smart move. Cornhole is fine, unless You're playing cornhole in 98 degree weather with no shade. read more

A delightful shaved ice spot!!! They had massive list of flavors to choose from. The staff was super nice and offered to let us taste the flavors before we ordered. They had lots picnic tables for sitting outside, additionally they had a lot of outdoor games (cornhole, tic tac toe, hula hoops, chalk etc. which makes it a great spot for families. 100% will visit again on our next vacation to Myrtle! read more

We arrived at 8:45 and were told they "ran out of ice". The worker even told us that they close at 9 but could not serve us and to come back tomorrow at noon. If you are open til 9 you should serve til 9. We spent money on an uber to get there just to be turned away. What a waste of time and money. You have lost our business. read more

Terrible service. One employee working in the middle of the day with multiple people waiting. Very slow and unorganized. When I explained that I was a pelicans snoball employee at the ballentine sc location the guy did not believe me after telling them who the owners were that I work for, so I wasn't given a discount or free snoball. Also way too much syrup was put on the ice for the hot weather, my snoball was complete liquid in 5 minutes. read more

Have gone here for the past few years and loved it. Went there today for the first time this year and don't know what happened. Ice seemed different and flavor was not there because of little syrup used. Prices were raised but quality went down. They used to have a frequent buyers card but were told they were not doing that anymore. Won't be a frequent purchase any longer read more

The Snoballs themselves are a great deal and are delicious. The staff on the other hand is downright rude; they had friends visiting them on their shift, and ignoring customers in order to talk with them. I had to wait to order so they could chat, and then I felt awkward because the kids they were talking to wouldn't move so I couldn't easily pay or sample flavors. THEN, as my family sat down to eat our Snoballs at the bench area, we hear their conversation. It wouldn't be bad, but I don't think conversations starting out "the first time I smoked pot" are very necessary for my friend and family to hear. read more

Yummy! The regular side is huge once they pile the snowball up! The way the ice is shaved makes it the same consistency as snow, so cool! The flavors didn't taste artificial like most shaved ice flavors. We really enjoyed it and will be back! read more

Went there today with my family! My sister in Law suggested it and I read some reviews and didn't want to go. She insisted and I was surprised at how much we liked it there. The snowballs themselves where okay, but the the outside seating area was great! They had games, fairy lights and bright colorful picnic tables! The staff was friendly and offered to put my kids snowballs in a bigger cup, that way they didn't spill and they liked it a lot better! I feel like it would be better if there were a topping bar of some sort. Although they had a lot of flavors, it was a bit boring. Would suggest it for a fun place to stop by for all ages! read more
