Obviously this woman was having a bad day, and obviously she doesn't care about anyone else's day. So after her badgering me about me not wanting to give her my email address in a wonderfully condescending I suggested that I try something different and that I would just take my clothes back and she happily obliged by tossing them back through the window to me and I drove off. I took the time to call the main office and ask for one of the owners and a gentleman named Mike took my call and couldn't have been nicer trying to diffuse the situation. I may be willing to give them a second shot somewhere down the line because of Mike's intervention, but it's unlikely I will ever visit the Murrells Inlet location ever again. Longtime resident, fairly even-keeled, my first-ever Yelp review of any type. What should have been just a simple Exchange felt like a visit to the principal's office, and this rude lady acting like the principal. Not the face or attitude I would want in front of my business but it's not my call on who they hire to run the places. The area of this cleaners location doesn't give me the warm fuzzy feels, but luckily it's still light out when I need to come. The parking is VERY easy and this cleaners is very reasonably priced! For a wedding dress they quoted me $114 with tax. Which is great pricing in my opinion. My mom got her wedding dress cleaned up north 8 years ago and paid $140 she said. And my best friend who lives in the Boston area paid $250 she said (and yes I know Boston cost WAY WAY MORE). But it's still nice to have something to compare to so you know you're getting a good deal. When you drop your dress off you have the option to pay in full, or drop a $60 deposit and pay the rest when you pick up. Since wedding dresses can be tedious work to get clean, depending if yours has lace, crochet, or a beaded detail, they take a little while to clean. The lady told me it would take approximately 3 weeks to get mine back. Which was fine - the wedding was a couple months away still. So keep that in mind when you need to bring yours.

After alterations they dry clean your clothes automatically I didn't want that service but, was charged and I paid it. The obnoxious owner said he would refund my debit card -never happened. The cloths were badly wrinkled in the back where they were laid on hangers. The alterations were terrible. I had to take them to N Myrtle Beach to Gala's Alterations. She showed me how the lady glued ( yes, you heard me right) my top of my vest and left the top not sown. My dress from Antonio Melani from Dillards hem was 2 inches shorter on the right side than left side. Shorts were uneven on both legs. Pantsuit from Antonio was uneven and not consistent in length. These are expensive clothes and they were not altered properly. I have spent a lot of money on dry cleaning and alterations here-no more I'm done. Miss Gala was nice enough to show me the mistakes made on the alterations and offered any help I may need in telling the owner. That is very kind & considerate of her!

She immediately stated that all of my clothes would not fit in the washer, even though there was a clearly posted sign explaining the washer rules and capacity limits. The second incident happened when I removed my clothes from the dryer and noticed that every folding table was occupied. I then went to the back and used the small silver table. The attendant came over and said, "I use this table for my work." However, she had already been using the other customer tables for her work as well. Overall, the interaction felt unnecessarily rude and unprofessional.
