My family has been going to these condominiums since we first started vacationing to Destin in…read more1997. Throughout the years I've stayed in almost every condo on the first floor, and 209 and 211 on the second floor. Every time it has been wonderful. Check in is at 4, which is kind of late. But if you show up early and your room has already been cleaned and inspected they will almost always allow you in. The front desk staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I've never had a bad experience with them. They always greet you with a smile and are super kind. Almost every condo has a king size bed, 2 bunk beds, and a pull out couch, so you can easily fit 6 comfortably. There is a full kitchen with cookware, 2 bathrooms, and one shower. From the living area there's a back porch that overlooks the gorgeous powder white sand and emerald coast. You're provided with 2 chairs and an umbrella. On the first day you go to the beach you can reserve your spot for the week so I would recommend getting to the beach early the first morning. There's also a pool and hot tub in the complex for when you need a break from the beach. One huge plus of staying here is that there is only 3 stories. The beach area behind Destin Beach Club is reserved for only residents so the beach is never overly crowded at this condo. Since you're right on scenic highway 98, you're close to everything there is to see and do in Destin. There's a plethora of restaurants, souvenir shops, and shops. You're also right next to the Destin harbor and all the new things it has to offer. Because of the great staff, amenities, view, and less crowded beach area, I would definitely recommend Destin beach club to anybody who is traveling down to Destin. Absolutely love this place, so many happy memories. Can't wait to be back!

You have sand, humidity, age, and stains everywhere - recipe for disaster in terms of this carpet. I hated having to wear shoes inside our room due to being grossed out. While in the bedroom, i had a cockroach crawl over my foot, and I was incredibly disgusted. The facility is obviously older, but the carpet situation needs to be addressed for sanitary reasons. Other than that, great beach access, and private chairs/umbrella are provided. Helpful staff, and great balcony view. Everything else was clean.

This place far exceeded my expectations! We had a 1 bed for 4 nights. The cottages are super cute on the outside and have a beautiful and minimalist interior design. I was so excited by the cute built-in bunk bed that I almost wanted to sleep there instead of the awesome king bed! The kitchen had all the tools we needed, the TVs and bluray player worked great, and it was nice to be able to control our AC. It was great to have a TV in both the living and bedroom, and we loved the balcony space. The site is fairly convenient to other places, like 2 restaurants right next to us and more down the road. There's not a ton within walking distance though, nor a grocery store, but that's the norm anyway. The beach here is beautiful of course, and I've never seen one so litter-free, even in Destin! It was also not crowded at all, but that's probably because we went in Aug. My only real complaint is that the place uses a wifi connection like many businesses (different from personal wifi) that may kick you off and make you log back in. They only let you connect 4 devices for free, which was plenty for us. My Firestick wouldn't work without getting a new login, but with the cable, bluray, smartTV, and free DVD rental library it didn't matter. I was also sad they didn't have a hot tub, but I must've overlooked that when I booked. The pool area is cute though. They also have activities at both this site and the larger hotel (Majestic) that sounded fun, but we ended up just staying on the beach all day everyday. The staff was super friendly and helpful the whole time, which was fantastic! We had an amazing time and I can't wait to stay here again someday!!

Here for a week for a family gathering…read more Great location. The boardwalk is about a mile long or so from the bridge end, which is where the hotel resort is located at. Got a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom presidential suite room. The master bedroom and attached bathroom are quite big, the second bedroom is decently sized and also has an attached bathroom. The 3rd bedroom is closest to the room door, it's smaller, as is the smaller. The staff are friendly and helpful. The common balconies here are nice and there's an elevator to the boardwalk too from the pool level or Grand View. The room is a food place for 3-5 folks, a bit tight with more than 5 or 6 people in my opinion though. The concert and many events are on the board walk. There is an oyster event on Sunday for Veteran's day, but we will miss that event. The master bedroom is the best living area, has its own private balcony from the main balcony that's accessible from the kitchen or living room / den area and second bedroom too. The larger balcony is a L- shaped. The kitchen looks big, but it gets tight even with two people using it and getting through the galley. Besides the check-in and check-out, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the little we had was good. The views from the room were great! Lots of wonderful pics of the bay and the Gulf of Mexico from the balcony and of all of the boats passing through the East Pass to the Gulf.

They charge you for any housekeeping and don't allow you (for safety reasons) to borrow a mop etc. bring your own cleaning materials. It's obvious people don't cook because the cookware is awful! The room wasn't as clean as it should've been when we arrived, despite smelling clean. Our feet turned black and we do not wear shoes in the room- they come off at the door. The pictures give you a false impression that the resort is on the beach. It's not. In fact, it's located in the most touristy area of Destin and you have to take a shuttle to get to a beach or drive. The hotel beach is a joke. No restroom, no waves- just sand and sea water. There a significantly nicer beaches and water just a few minutes drive away. The Wyndham. It's standard for them to chase you down to attend a meeting, but the rewards are minimal. The pool- that's a joke too. Constantly dirty. Why? Because it's entirely too small for the vast hotel. There are not enough chairs. Towels- they give you a card to exchange for a towel. Lose it and it cost you $25. This doesn't scream luxury, more like cheap! At night you hear the party people down below. Here's what we liked. Our room. We had a 3 bedroom and despite finding someone's fake nail and candy wrappers, it was spacious with an incredible patio. Our view was perfect for the fireworks. Will we stay again- nope. Would we come again to this part of Florida, perhaps because the beaches- Miramar beach and Henderson state park beach were unbelievable! We would pay rather than stay here again. We wanted to give a special shout out to a few of the employees that we interacted with almost every single day. On our first day within minutes of arriving at the beach, we were greeted by Jake who jokingly introduced himself to us as "Jake from State Farm," (which we thought was hilarious and made him stand out.) He carried our bags for us and set us up with beach chairs in the "best spot on the beach" each day. The following few days we had wonderful service from Brandon who served us drinks at the Sand Flea bar. Both of these employees made our trip that much more memorable and we appreciate them! We can't wait to come back!

You sign a waiver and you have to weigh between 70 to 250 pounds for the zip line. Our two tour guides Jaeda and Spencer were amazing. As someone who's never zip lined before, they were comforting and patient. I think this zip line tour was good for beginners and kids. I think there were 10(?) zip lines that were approx 300 feet each. I'd prefer a longer one next time!
