The Rosemary Beach Inn is owned by the family that manages the restaurant downstairs, the Summer…read moreKitchen Cafe, and managed by the Rosemary Beach Cottage Rental Company. It is sort of like a hybrid between a hotel and an Airbnb. Check in occurs at their central office about two blocks away. We received a warm welcome from the staff at the desk and got parking passes, keys to the room and codes to all the closed access areas such as the pool and beach. We also received a card that supposedly would get us discounts around town. We drove over to the property and were able to park in one of the two reserved spots right outside the main door. We went up to our room on the third floor via elevator. The rooms are small and felt more like a European hotel room than an American one. The bedroom portion is updated but the bathroom was a little tired. Everything was pretty comfortable for such a small space and we appreciated the ceiling fan. There was a Keurig as well with some of the best k-cups I've ever had (Illy Dark Roast). On the first of two nights, we had trouble sleeping due to the activity on the square outside (you are in the center of downtown Rosemary Beach, right by the Pearl) and also because the shutters were banging against the outside of the house, like another reviewer noted. We ended up having an interesting relationship with the downstairs restaurant. We received "breakfast" vouchers that got you coffee or tea, juice, four pieces of toast with jam or butter, and a very small fruit cup. I think the play was to get you in to the restaurant to order more food. We used the vouchers for cups of ice and morning coffee, though like I said the Keurig was pretty sufficient. They also generously supplied mixers for a cocktail we were making up in the room. The property is very close to the beach and to one of four pools in Rosemary - the best one, in our opinion, having tried all four. One small issue was beach chairs. At check in, they claimed we would have two chairs per room, set up with our room number on them. When we went down to the beach there were no such chairs, but the staff quickly set some up for us after asking. It worked out just fine, but know that the beach can get pretty packed. Overall, if it's just you and one other, this is an inexpensive way to stay in Rosemary Beach and gain access to all the amenities. Our room was half the price of the Pearl next door and less expensive than any house or cottage would have been.

We just wrapped up a multi-family trip staying at The Henderson Parkside Condos. My best friend…read moreand her family stayed on the hotel side while we took the condos, and meeting up for pool and beach days was so easy. It was easily one of my favorite vacations, but there are a few key things you need to know before booking. Here is the bad, the good, and the ugly: The Bad & The Ugly Sugar Ant Infestation: On Day 1, we unpacked our sealed snacks from Publix on the counter and it was immediately swarming with ants. We had to move everything into the fridge and scrub the counters, but we still found stragglers hiding under the coffee maker. We booked a condo specifically for the kitchen, so feeling nervous to cook or leave anything out was a real bummer. Under-Stocked Supplies: We were only given one garbage bag for the stay and the body wash was nearly empty. We couldn't get through to the front desk via phone to request more, so we just bought our own trash bags and toiletries. Not a dealbreaker, but disappointing. The Good Exceptional Food: Poolside food usually disappoints, but every meal here blew us away. The gastropub was a huge highlight (the fried cauliflower is a must!), and getting wings and pizza delivered straight to our condo door was so convenient. Gorgeous Beach & Amenities: The beach is one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The property has multiple warm, spacious pools, 24-hour complimentary coffee, and incredible views. Plus, not having to worry about packing beach towels or toys made life so easy. Great Staff: The staff was phenomenal, and the resort is very family-friendly. Final Verdict Despite the ant issue, the location, food, and experience made this trip unforgettable. Just bring ziplock bags, store your food in the fridge from minute one, and you will have an incredible stay. I would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I brought our three kids ranging in age from 17 to 23. One of our children arrived from out of state at midnight, and since the overflow parking is five miles away, we had them get a temporary tag from the security guard and then we moved the vehicle off the property by 8am the following morning, but we were still charged a fine of $125. In addition, we paid an additional $200 to rent bedsheets and bath towels, but we had to make all of the beds ourselves when we arrived. We were given only one key for the unit although there were 8 of us staying in the unit. Also when we arrived, there was sand on the floors and in the showers, food/crumbs on the floors, and empty water bottles in two of the bedrooms. This overall experience has been stressful and unaccommodating. They don't deserve any stars and we will not be returning.

It's not the fanciest resort I've ever stayed at, but it definitely checked all the boxes for necessity and a big of comfort. There's a main tower and then 6 separate condo buildings. All 7 buildings have great beach access. I do wish there was better communication, but that's mainly up to the homeowners and what rental agency they choose to use. We used Vacasa (I thought) but ended up with "Arvanti Rental Group" which was fine, there just isn't a front desk anywhere on property so it can be confusing when trying to contact the homeowner. I know Airbnb gets a lot of hate but when we come back we will likely book with them, simply because of the easy customer user face. Overall we had a great time, had awesome beach access, and a large enough area, without being too pricey. $800 for 4 nights isn't too bad with a beach front condo, beach view, and all the amenities.

Recently spent a four night stay at this place, and although it has some good points it also has…read moresome glaring flaws. On the plus side it is right on the beach. It was a very short walk from our room to put toes in the sand. The beach was pristine -- amazingly soft white sand -- and the surf conditions were consistently perfect, with dolphins easily visible swimming not far offshore. The staff are super friendly and the prices were reasonable. There are a decent number of stores and restaurants within a reasonable walking distance. Now the less flattering stuff: the place is quite dated and badly in need of some upgrades. For example, not only is there no hair dryer in the bathroom, which is typically provided by most hotels in the modern age, there is not even an outlet in the bathroom to plug in your own hair dryer. Basically the rooms are clean and comfortable but very spartanly appointed. We have been time sharing for decades and are accustomed to fully equipped kitchens, but here we found barely enough dishware to serve four people. There is a pool (which we didn't use) across the street in the affiliated resort, and no hot tub. Lastly, parking is free but very tight. The bottom line is that we found the Lollye to be very quiet and relaxing for a long weekend getaway, and we enjoyed our visit, but next time we need to be better prepared to bring many things of our own.

Our stay through our AirBnb was great. Loved the condo, loved the property, loved the host. But the…read moreone star review is for my interaction with the building manager Raymond. He had the hot tub shut down at 2pm due to a small shower and very distant lightning strike on our last day there. The rain lasted about an hour with no more lightning. After multiple hours of no rain or lightning (with sun shining) I got ahold of him directly to see when it would be reopened as we were planning our evening agenda around getting a little hot tub time in on our last night there and he seemed to be irritated and passive aggressive about the entire idea for some reason. I even sent him a screenshot of the hourly for the rest of the day showing great weather all evening. At this point he told me that as long as it looked good (which it did) that he would have the 6pm guy open it back up. We'll come 6 pm The weather looked even better with sun shining yet the hot tub was still closed. Come about 7, I checked again to no avail. The guy seemed like he was on some sort of weird power trip and I honestly think he chose to keep it closed out of spite after accusing me of "pressuring him" to reopen it!! Politely pleading the case for an amenity that we paid good money to use to be reopened in a moment that it clearly should be open would be a more accurate description. I wasn't hostile at all when talking to him which made the entire conversation even more perplexing (and laughable). I'm still chuckling about the passive aggressive tone when he accused me of pressuring him. It was a clear attempt for him to manipulate the conversation/situation. I think he was maybe angry at the start because someone on staff gave me his number so I could inquire after going to the main office prior and finding nobody there to talk to. Luckily another great staff member (the 6 o'clock guy) opened it up and saved our last evening there, while agreeing that there was absolutely no reason to keep it closed. He also informed me that Raymond never said anything to him about the hot tub as he told me he would, which again was laughable. What a silly situation. The whole situation had the feeling of him having the mindset he was doing the guests a favor by letting us stay in his building. Which is not how a guest should feel or be treated by the property manager. The owners and guests that we talked to all week were fantastic, but my interactions with Raymond tainted an otherwise wonderful trip and it wouldn't be very difficult to find a more friendly property manager with less of a chip on his solider. The whole situation was irrational.
