There is plenty to do here if you want to stay for a few hours or vacation for a few weeks. Walking around felt like I was back in Europe , there are beautiful architectural buildings and homes with the charm of Nantucket or the Hamptons. Luxury all around and perfect for families , couples or weddings. My hubby and I are looking to come back and book a home for a nice long week. Definitely a must visit.

The beaches were fabulous and the neighborhood pool had a nice surprise - the most delicious grouper sandwich and fries!!! The home itself is expertly decorated with a perfect layout for guests - two masters, another king bedroom, and bunk room. The entire first floor is an open concept - kitchen, dining and living room. On the last day, we even noticed there was a farmers market in the community!

This is a very hard place to rate. The people there are very kind and friendly. The location right…read moreon the beach and the view and balcony off the room are awesome! The facilities on the other hand.... The elevator reeks of decaying something, and at times an obscene amount of air freshener in attempts to cover the awful smell. We had to plug our nose riding up to the 5th floor. The safety certificate posted was expired as of 8/1/25. We hoped they just hadn't yet had time to change the certificate in the elevator. There was a screech heard at times in the elevator too, but I was assured by a fellow vacationer that sound is normal... the doors were also smeared with who knows what. Hopefully cleaning solution residue but my hopes are low. There were two elevators for our building but one was out of service. The carpet in the rooms look original and is damp. Our white socks were filthy after minutes, we soon learned to keep our shoes on. I noticed the cushion on the couch was backwards so, like an idiot, I turned it over and there was some sort of brown stain on it. Also dark red/brown spatters on the adjacent wall. Your imagination will run wild considering all the possibilities of the origin of those stains. I took no photos because I didn't want to be in possession of evidence lol! Back to the positive, no bed bugs were seen! However I did dispense quite a bit of Lysol cleaning all the surfaces and spraying down the bed and pillows. I definitely left that room cleaner than when I found it. The towels are old, thin, and don't do much but scratch your skin. However they bring you fresh towels every day! Never ran out of anything, the staff were great. We did come back from the beach one day and the room key wasn't working and we had to wait outside our room in our beachwear with all our things. That was less than ideal but they came and changed the batteries in the lock and all was resolved in about 15-20 minutes. Could have been faster but it got done, and not unreasonably timed, just felt like a long time.

Most of the time I went here, very few people were around and we felt surrounded by beauty, peace, and nature. They were humble yet decadent and glamorous times. The beach was gorgeous and serene. Sometimes, there was only two of us sunbathing on the beach all alone. It was a long walk over the dunes to get to the beach, yet it was so worth it. Some of my best Beach and pool memories are at this place. I came back to it recently to collect some sand from the beach here. Now, it is super crowded, more commercialized, louder, and the newer buildings are squeezed in tight like sardines. It made me realize you can never go back to the past and to value and live to the fullest in the Present Moment. My Russian friend ,Sergei , agreed and said yet we had lots of valuable memories and memorable present moments at Watersound though!

The living room and dining room furniture is horribly stained, the upstairs primary bedroom has a problem with bugs and when it rains, the bedroom drapes get soaked. There is broken concrete near the pool steps and a few of our family members got scraped getting in and out of the pool. When looking for reviews on "JUST BEACHY" there are none to be found and there is nowhere on the Barefoot-30A webpage to give a review of this property. This is the reason for writing an honest review. Had we known the shape of this property, we would have never spent our hard-earned money on this place.

Instead of talking to us, they just cancelled it! We called 10 times a day for the three days leading up to the reservation because if we could get our money back we'd still try and go. They never answered, never emailed us back. VRBO couldn't even reach them. We disputed our credit card and guess what? The property manager replies saying we just cancelled. This is crazy. They essentially STOLE our money. $2,500!!! We're still in disputes. It's not even about the money at this point- it's about someone being a terrible human being and being a thief.

This property is located just far enough from the center of town to avoid the hustle and bustle but a short 10 min walk takes you right back into the action! 4 bikes are included with the rental and allow for easy access for a relaxing ride around Seaside's streets. The BBQ pit on the side of the house is new and in good condition and there are 4 beach chairs included as well from Cabana Man co on the beach everyday! Inside the house is kitted out with a full new kitchen, an Apple/Andriod compatible sound system, personal TV's in all rooms and fast WIFI. All in all was a very enjoyable experience that complemented Seaside's charm instead of being a hastle.

The views off the balcony overlooking the elaborate resort style pool were stunning. Balcony was a great place to sip a drink. The condo has 3 bedrooms with plenty of beds. It sleeps 8 easily plus it has a pull out couch. A large long dining table is great for feasts or playing cards and games. Appointed with its bright beach theme, and well stocked kitchen it was easy to spend a week relaxing in this paradise. There are stairs to climb to get to the penthouse but once there it is worth the climb! Trams drop you right at the walkover for the beach. A garage keeps your car privately tucked away. Comfortable seating with TV's and internet!
