Here for a week for a family gathering. Great location. The boardwalk is about a mile long or so from the bridge end, which is where the hotel resort is located at. Got a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom presidential suite room. The master bedroom and attached bathroom are quite big, the second bedroom is decently sized and also has an attached bathroom. The 3rd bedroom is closest to the room door, it's smaller, as is the smaller. The staff are friendly and helpful. The common balconies here are nice and there's an elevator to the boardwalk too from the pool level or Grand View. The room is a food place for 3-5 folks, a bit tight with more than 5 or 6 people in my opinion though. The concert and many events are on the board walk. There is an oyster event on Sunday for Veteran's day, but we will miss that event. The master bedroom is the best living area, has its own private balcony from the main balcony that's accessible from the kitchen or living room / den area and second bedroom too. The larger balcony is a L- shaped. The kitchen looks big, but it gets tight even with two people using it and getting through the galley. Besides the check-in and check-out, we didn't have much interaction with the staff, but the little we had was good. The views from the room were great! So here's all the details- we are Wyndham owners. This property is different than others. The room. They charge you for any housekeeping and don't allow you (for safety reasons) to borrow a mop etc. bring your own cleaning materials. It's obvious people don't cook because the cookware is awful! The room wasn't as clean as it should've been when we arrived, despite smelling clean. Our feet turned black and we do not wear shoes in the room- they come off at the door. The pictures give you a false impression that the resort is on the beach. It's not. In fact, it's located in the most touristy area of Destin and you have to take a shuttle to get to a beach or drive. The hotel beach is a joke. No restroom, no waves- just sand and sea water. There a significantly nicer beaches and water just a few minutes drive away. The Wyndham. It's standard for them to chase you down to attend a meeting, but the rewards are minimal. The pool- that's a joke too. Constantly dirty. Why? Because it's entirely too small for the vast hotel. There are not enough chairs. Towels- they give you a card to exchange for a towel. Lose it and it cost you $25. This doesn't scream luxury, more like cheap! At night you hear the party people down below. Here's what we liked. Our room. We had a 3 bedroom and despite finding someone's fake nail and candy wrappers, it was spacious with an incredible patio. Our view was perfect for the fireworks. Will we stay again- nope. Would we come again to this part of Florida, perhaps because the beaches- Miramar beach and Henderson state park beach were unbelievable! We would pay rather than stay here again. I had an extremely disturbing experience here on January 21 around 2 PM. After a minor issue with another jet ski, a security guard approached me aggressively, threatened me, and told me I was banned for a year--without any attempt to understand what had actually happened. When I calmly asked for his name, he refused to give it. I have a photo of him because he wouldn't identify himself. What's most upsetting is the clear discrimination I experienced once he realized I'm Jewish. His tone and behavior shifted completely--he was disrespectful, hostile, and humiliating in front of others. It was obvious I was being targeted because of my religion and nationality. No one deserves to be treated this way. This type of discriminatory conduct is unacceptable, and I hope the management takes accountability seriously. No guest should ever be made to feel unsafe or degraded because of who they are. read more

First off, we booked through Hotels.com which we found out the hotel will not support and it was under a different hotel name. We drove around looking for Harbor Suites and finally went into Emerald Grande and they said, "yes this is the hotel!" We booked a suite for 3 adults and 3 children through hotels.com in Dec. 2025. Our confirmation states, "luxury room, multiple beds, balcony." When we checked in we stated we had 3 adults and 3 children. We were given a room in Harbor Suites. The room was not a suite! It had 2 beds for 6 people! We called down to the front desk and were told there was nothing they could do about it and all other rooms were booked for the night. We asked for rollaways and was told you don't provide them. So that meant 2 people in our party were to sleep on the floor!!!! I went down to the front desk with our confirmation and was told because it was booked by a third party, there was nothing they could do. After another discussion with the woman at the front desk, she said there was nothing available and nothing she could do. I said, "We need to solve this problem. How can we come to a solution?" The woman at the front desk said I could pay for another room. At this point I was done arguing and said, "If that is all you can offer, then I will have to pay for an additional room." Which I did and was given another room in Harbor Suites. When my 8 year old grandson entered the bathroom of this room, a bra was found hanging on the back of the door! The front desk called and said a woman had left it in the room after changing into her swimsuit and she wanted it back. So the woman and someone from the front desk came up to the room to retrieve the bra. So we were given a room someone else had occupied and no one from the hotel went back into the room to see if it was ok to reassign. We were appalled by this. Is this the kind of quality you approve in your resort? I was done dealing with the front desk and chose to write this letter instead. We were offered a $25 credit to one of the restaurants, but does this really compensate for the bad experience we had? And we don't understand why you push the blame to the third party booking company? Why do you continue to allow this third party to offer your rooms if there are continual problems? As a consumer, it appears both businesses were at fault, not the hotel guest. What a great location with many nice amenities. However, we cannot recommend this resort after our terrible experience. read more

We stayed here for 3 nights and the location is great but the hotel left a very bad memory. We the day before we left, we discovered 2 cockroaches in our unit and we complained to the front desk who told us we would have to get ahold of Wyndham for recompense. Wyndham directed it back to the hotel to make things right. The hotel said they would spray our room, while we went to dinner and they would have a gift for our trouble, when we returned from dinner. After we returned from dinner, at 930pm, the hotel gives us a hotel credit towards dinner at the hotel restaurant. Seriously? And on top of that, we return to our unit to find another roach crawling up the bathroom wall! We came to stay by way of Airbnb because the normal prices are a bit out of our range. Now I understand why! This resort has so much to offer plus it's right on harborwalk with lots of boating tours and shops and restaurants! They also have lots of events throughout the year on the harbor. While we stayed we went to one and had a great time. There is even a shuttle boat to and from a beach for people who stay at hotel.. we saw lots of dolphins while on shuttle.. they even stopped for few minutes for us to enjoy them. Everything went so well from checkin to checkout! Kayla was who we had checking us in! She was so sweet and helped us with anything we asked questions of. They also have bellhops if you need a cart to bring everything to and from your room. No charge but it's customary to tip which we did because they were great. You can't cart yourself ! Our bellman was Andrew and he was very nice! Came to our room got everything neatly on cart and took us out to car to load us. Just really great staff.. they have an indoor and outdoor pool.. not deep pools both only go to 4 ft but great to have the options. There's a hot tub pool side outside too. As a timeshare owner: NOT satisfied at all. I had high expectations for my Anniversary weekend. Completely let down. From the resort construction and confusing parking garage and much, much more. A major NO-NO! The resort at one time must have been amazing. Now it's quit run down. Lost its glory. From the start of check in, I ask the agent if we can upgrade. We would gladly pay the difference and was told NO. She didn't even check with upper management and no eye contact as if she couldn't be bothered. She seemed rush to finish and no patience. I Ask'd her for bathroom: she said around the corner. From the front desk it's another mission to find. She said check in at 4 thank God your room is ready. We got there like 3:30. Like she was doing us a favor. It seemed all they wanted was to get us into another boring upgrade to points seminar. The night bar next to window "Coyote Ugly" super loud all night and I couldn't sleep well. As the days went by the elevator issue was a huge problem. I didn't feel safe in them at all. You can see the wear and tear and also the wire in the crack seems of the walls of the elevator and it's dirty walls. Extremely run down, dirty elevators, hole in the walls, carpet is ripped, roaches, bad pillows, no ice machines, employee didn't even smile or say hello, check in agent had no patience and was rushing, old run down furniture, and one of the dressers draw just fell as I was watching tv in the room out of no were: made me feel like there's a ghost.....lol Dents and crack tiles, electric covers were broken extra...... Felt like a resort on CRACK!!!! Emerald Grand No 5 stars at all. The experience was not to par and what I am used to for Wyndham. As an owner it's Pretty shameful!!! Anniversary ruined. The only thing POSITIVE: the Harborwalk is nice, great shops. Tons of things to do and places to eat. Private beach is clean and easy access to it by boat. read more

We LOVED our stay at the Emerald Grande, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic or family friendly location for a wedding! We had our wedding June of 2023, and everything was just beautiful. The wedding team was AMAZING and I cannot thank them enough for EVERYTHING they did for us. Emily and Annette, y'all were PERFECT and we wouldn't have wanted to have our wedding anywhere else. Annette went above and beyond on the wedding day. She made sure everything was on schedule, we were where we needed to be, we got to eat our dinner, and just made sure we were happy. Absolutely do not recommend if you're looking to have a relaxing getaway. We are so disappointed! We planned a romantic getaway to relax after a busy and stressful month, only to have a room in the East Tower that has extremely loud music coming from the bar across the parking lot. We're on the 9th floor and it feels like we're right next to it. Literally vibrates the walls. The first night we thought it was coming from a room next to us. In addition, the day we arrived, the room hadn't been cleaned. There were towels all over the floor, the beds weren't made, and dirty dishes in the sink. They came and cleaned whole we went out and gave us a $50 credit to use at a restaurant as a comp, but that didn't even cover a basic breakfast for two the next day. Went back for breakfast after listening to the sales pitch - we got there at 11:04am and we're told we could no longer get breakfast because it's stops at 11:00am. Not the type of service I have come to expect from a Wyndham property. As things currently stand, I would never stay here again or recommend it to anyone. This is our third night and we just realized where the noise was coming from. It's Friday so extra loud. My earbuds are in and I can still hear it. I called and asked to be moved somewhere else in the hotel and was told to call for a supervisor first thing in the morning. I will update my score if they can make it better. read more

I had a really great time at the Emerald Grande in Destin. I needed a place to host my sister's bachelorette party, and this place did not fail. I need enough space for a group of 7. I booked the corner room penthouse suite. It was such a good choice. There was plenty of room with a total of 4 bedrooms and 4 baths. The room hand a great kitchen with all the amenities to cook within the suite, but if you prefer to go off to eat, you don't even have to leave the harbor. You can simply walk downstairs and eat within the hotel or do room service, and if you still want option, the harbor is a few steps away with plenty of choices to eat. This hotel had so many perks. One being free parking for guests. Normally, you're charged a ridiculous daily fee for parking. It was included in the booking which was a huge perk. Another perk, is the private shore line. It was awesome to not have to fight for space on a beach. Another wonderful thing was the access to beach chairs and towels include in our visit. I didn't give this hotel a 5 stars because I didn't get to try everything, but I will say I would strongly recommend to others interested in coming to Destin. read more

The condo it's self was nice. The location is different being right there with all the shops and restaurants/bars instead of on the beach but the ferry ride to the beach is convenient and quick. The restaurant on site was pretty expensive and just ok. The Coyote Ugly bar in the main parking lot is LOUD and goes late in to the night. DON'T DO THE WYNDHAM PRESENTATION! The rewards they offer are BS. They opened not one but two credit cards in each of mine and my wife's name after I specifically asked them if they were going to open a credit card and was told no. The kept us there almost twice as long as we agreed to at the beginning because we told them no on buying so we kept getting passed on to different people who were more aggressive at each level. No wonder they have so many class action lawsuits opened up against them. Would have been a great trip if it wasn't for Wyndham being involved. read more

Come here a few times a year with family members who are FO's. Can't begin to talk about how great this place is every single time. I am blown away by the poor reviews I have seen here on yelp. The condo is always clean. I walk the harbor early every morning that I am there, and there is constantly maintenance staff cleaning the area. The condo is always spotless are ready when we arrive. During our latest visit, a "flash hurricane" caused damage on the balcony which was fixed the following morning. We take the free ferry shuttle over to the beach and that is always a great experience. The management does an amazing job at continuously, planning concerts, music, and other family friendly events to always keep the Harbor fun. I have yet to have a poor experience here from the staff, the condo itself, the pool area, and the entire harbor walk... everything is always awesome. read more

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING. Location is excellent if you prefer access to harbor walk shops/restaurants, saves money on parking. The downside is that it's often noisy at night, especially Saturday night with live music playing well after midnight. Pool is DISGUSTING. This was the most disappointing thing. Hair and bandaids floating in the pool. It was cloudy (could barely see the bottom and it's only 4ft deep), the entire time we stayed there. I heard another guest, who explained he was an owner of one of the condos, also complaining about it. I called several times to see if it would be cleaned, the front desk and hotel manager stated they would "put in a work order." Nothing ever changed. We never once saw the pool being vacuumed or cleaned (we get up early). We didn't even want to get in the pool. I have never stayed at a resort with such awful pool management. If you cannot physically walk to the beach, the pool should be a nice option after a morning at the beach and it simply wasn't. Super disappointing. Beach shuttle is convenient, but hours limit you. Only 9a-6p (last pick up from the beach is 545p), would be nice to have early morning hours or evening hours. You get complementary chairs and an umbrella. Beach is NOT private as website states. No bathroom on the beach, no restaurant or drinks. The shuttle has limited non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages (room charge) as well as a bathroom. They can also take an order for food to the hotel restaurant and bring it back for you. Room is spacious, with nice kitchen amenities. We stayed in 3BR/3BA, corner room, beautiful views of the ocean and harbor. The balcony was very nice to sit out on, aside from constant noise from the pool and harbor walk. Beds are comfortable. Housekeeping is non-existent they refused to change linens during the week, when we asked because my son wet the bed, they said "you can wash your own sheets with the detergent provided." Which is ridiculous given the cost to stay. They do not collect garbage or dirty towels from the room. You have to take your trash to trash chute. There is no tidy or turn down service. The room was NOT clean. We found a living cockroach in the room, (we were on the 6th floor, makes no sense to have a cockroach that high up). They had not vacuumed, I found trash on the floor of one bedroom, they did not properly clean the showers. I didn't try the tub, it also looked dirty. At checkout I tried to respectfully/quietly mention this, concierge said "I'm sorry, we'll fix it for the next guest, have a good day and safe travels." Booked a "Presidential Reserve" suite for over $800/ night. Horrible view, looking at the parking lot from one floor above. Tried to enjoy a morning coffee on the balcony but all I can hear is the music blaring and the loud AC unit across the walk; at 6 am! I had to wait until the loud concert 20' feet from my balcony was over before I could get some sleep last night. Pool is overcrowded. Room service is mediocre. After driving 2 days to get here, we were exhausted and we decided to stay. Ron Tocci agreed that what was being done was unfair. He promised to fire off some emails and get some more information. He would be at work at 11 today to help figure out something. It is 11:25...guess who isn't here!!! We've come to this place for the last 10 years. It looks as though their fabulous run is over. All of the people who are here are very kind and doing their best, but whomever Evan is, he is all kinds of things other than kind. We have had a fully paid reservation for a little over a month. I am a school teacher and have been dreaming about being in my happy place since December. After driving for 2 days, we arrived to be told that the air conditioning unit for the condo we rented is broken. So, we have been relocated without any attempt at notifying us to a unit off the property that is one bedroom less and without a view of the pool. We are not being compensated in any way and no attempt is being made to rectify the situation. I have never been so disappointed!!! read more

The rooms are spacious and made for you to have large gatherings. My family used this as a family reunion, hopping from one condo to the other. The harbor walk was also an added surprise. -No luggage carts for a 17-Story condo! -3 broken locks - 2 bathroom locks and one patio lock that leads to walkway with people going by the rooms. -Cockroaches in the rooms -Broken ceiling fan -Broken peep whole for front door -Garbage shoot/trash room DISGUSTING and CLOGGED DAILY even after informing staff twice -Grossly disproportionate and tiny outdoor pool (3.5 ft deep only) and very small indoor pool for the size and amount of people here daily -Waited hour and a half for maintenance to come spray the room for bugs and he came with small can and sprayed 2 cabinets and left. -Called for toilet tissue at 8pm and told we couldn't get any until the morning because he was the ONLY ONE ON DUTY ALL NIGHT?? -Middle of June and half the patio area by the pool is not accessible and still being built even though this place has been here for --- years. -Parking garage/elevators were a maze of misery - total design FAIL for guests who experience it for the first time UMMMM - the boat captains that have to take you to the beach each day are nice. Stayed in 4 bedroom 3 bath Penthouse I believe 6 in the East tower. The view was stunning 180 degrees top floor overlooking the boardwalk south east corner. Excellent location. That being said the unit was a mess. for $750 a night I expected a clean well kept Penthouse. What we got was a dirty unit, with mold, filthy run down unit. There was blood on a comforter, torn curtains, Mold in 1 bathroom, filthy baseboards, stained rugs, couch and chairs were worn thread bare. A real disappointment. What I found out is this is NOT a hotel but a condo unit owned by individuals that rent them out and run by a Management company. The management co was doing their best to clean up[ stuff and gave us 1 of our 7 nights refunded. General cleanliness was terrible, had to put the tv remote in a plastic bag as it was filthy. Water pressure ??? Completely lost water pressure in the middle of the showers everyday, I mean NO WATER !! Have that happen when you're shampooing your hair. (maybe because of being top floor??) Still unacceptable. In fact 1 day there was NO hot water at all. I just love cold showers, reminds me of my Navy day....s/c If your expecting to cook forget it. Mind you we only had 6 people staying but it's a 4 bedroom penthouse. There were 2 frying pans 8 & 12 inch and two small pots. Thats it!! We still had a great time inspite of the condo conditions. Overall, the Emerald Grande was nice. Hopefully I can clear up some concerns posted earlier by other Yelp reviews. Being a Yelp Elite, I will give an honest unbiased review. First of all, booking was easy and able to meet my tight schedule being a health care worker. In seeking a one bedroom unit, it made it tight as most units are 2-3 bedrooms. Also, ask for discount if a health care worker; will take off 10%. The one bedroom was plenty big for 2 people as it had a full kitchen and 2 full baths, one with a shower/tub combo (big tub) and one with a nice big shower. A/C was great, hot water plentiful and all room features working well. The only problem was the pool was closed for service the entire stay. They did offer resort credit for the inconvenience but you must ask! The complaints about elevators were way overrated. I never had to wait long for any elevator and one was out of service for 2 days. Honesty unless your so impatient on a vacation, the stairs are not necessary. Just wait a few minutes! The spa was great; service was friendly and spa exactly what I would expect at a resort. Prices decent and spa clean, and quiet with very nice amenities. Hot tub is very nice other than people being people and leaving cups along the side....rude! Towels supplied are ample and clean. View from hot tub faces harbor to the west for a nice sunset view. I ate at the restaurant on site twice; both times very good and prepared quickly; just a bit pricey. The shuttle to the beach is very nice. The shuttle is on a large pontoon-type boat and takes about 5 minutes and runs every half hour. A nice ride and beach chairs and umbrellas set up for you at no extra cost! As far a complaints about noise, we only experienced loud music one night (Thursday) from McGuires across the street. Doors are very well insulated but still may cause issues if bedroom has balcony. Our unit's bedroom was in back of unit, so not too loud. Bring a sound machine or earplugs...or just go and enjoy the music! Ended at 1:00am. The Harborwalk Village is nice, but super crowded on weekends making it feel like a bad fair day! Weekdays were enjoyable and able to walk, shop and order food or get seated quickly. I loved the pineapple smoothie from food truck. Overall, prices a bit high, but as expected for resort area. Some of the activities I had planned on doing, like kayaking and jetskis, just didn't work out because weather was unseasonably cold I would recommend Emerald Grande to others, but probably would stay elsewhere on next visit. Just don't need to visit this particular area of Destin again. It's too busy for me. After checking out beaches to the east, like Miramar/Sandestin, I would prefer staying in that area of return read more

The front of house hospitality could use some training in customer service since the last several times I stayed, they were not very welcoming or accommodating. However despite that, I had an great overall experience. I will say, I was helped by Cameron from the security team and he was very helpful, kind and professional. I'll admit, the less than five Yelp star reviews had me concerned. Palmetto bugs (roaches), extremely loud bars next door (no sleep), and staff issues (very rude)! I finally just stopped reading the negativity and put forth some positive vibes into the universe that this resort would be fantastic for a week away with friends. Guess what? This place IS fantastic! Six of us checked in on a Saturday morning. Our room wasn't ready yet, but that just meant we could find a cool restaurant along the harborwalk and have some cocktails. When we checked in, the staff was very friendly. The room was a suite with three bedrooms and three bathrooms, full kitchen, two patios, spacious living area, and washer/dryer. Everything was clean and in working order. The master bathroom was huge! I can happily say that I didn't see one bug in this place during my weeklong vacation. Nor did I encounter any rude staff. I will, however, say that it was loud at night. Even though Coyote Ugly was right outside our patio, that is not what I heard. The traffic is horrendous. And EXTREMELY loud. Good thing I had given my friends earplugs just in case! Lots of perks here. A great coffee shop in the building, a really big and clean swimming pool, two hot tubs with wonderful sunset views of the marina, and plenty of restaurants and shops just outside! This is by far one of the worst hotels we have ever stayed at. Don't let the pretty pictures fool you. There is construction going on at the pool right now that starts early in the morning. So you can't go there unless you want to listen to banging and drilling. McGuires, a bar across the street, has music playing until very late at night that can be heard everywhere. There aren't enough elevators for all the guests and the ones that they do have break constantly. So we are walking up and down stairs from the 7th floor. In order to get to the HarborWalk you have to walk through a creepy dark parking garage. The level of disorganization of the check in process was astounding. We weren't able to check in until 6pm!! Had a beautiful long weekend at the Emerald Grande. We were impressed with the overall friendliness and helpfulness of the staff from fro t desk to janitorial to the restaurant and bar service. Our 2 bedroom suite was large and well appointed. Odd that there are no towels racks or hooks in the bathroom and no closet, but it was fine. They brought us lots of fresh towels and there were towels at the beach and pool, which is very nice. The boat shuttle to the beach area was super easy, friendly service and quick, taking is to a rather private beach area with protected crystal clear water. No waves to play in but also no jellyfish, algae or undertow- so worth it - very good for families as it's safe. Close to all the Harborwalk activity, shops and restaurants. Do not waste your money. For 750 a night you get dated worn furniture, dirty vents, mold in the bathroom and cockroaches. The carpeting is worn, and the entire resort in need of a through cleaning and a facelift. read more

Nothing ever as horrible as my stay here. Have traveled world. Been on 10 cruises. Check-in at 4; NOPE try 8pm. No hot water when took shower. Was told tank broken. Have to walk through parking garage to get to Harbor Walk. No enough signs in garage to help with this. Add fire alarm went off elevators not working. Had to go up 10 flights from parking garage. Waited over an hour for bellhop to store luggage because we had to change rooms. Every young lady I spoke with at the front desk was very nice, placating me as they have been taught. Did not get honest answers to questions, just round about lies. Manager left because she was sick. Huge facility, no associate manager? She was the only one in charge to make major customer relation decisions yet she was MIA? So many other things this place got wrong. Just suffice it to say, you're better off at Hampton Inn. read more

Stayed for Spring Break. What a miserable experience. Our room had dirty stained furniture and carpet, roaches in the kitchen and mold in the bathroom. Beds were horribly uncomfortable. We were not comfortable staying in a room with roaches, and concierge gave us a can of spray to do it ourselves. There were at least 15 that we saw and spray isn't going to be effective. They need to bomb the place! The elevator was dirty, the parking garage looked like a garbage dump. I've stayed in Holiday Inns for a quarter of the price we paid here that were well maintained and clean. Emerald Grande, whoever runs the resort should be embarrassed. Never, EVER again. This is one of the most ill-staffed condos in the Wyndham experience. We stayed there in late June/early July 2020. Air Conditioning went out and we made false promises all week, plus the staff did not communicate with us. The manager never called us back. The patio furniture is cheap and light. When storms come, they are blown around and can be very dangerous. This place looks nice form a distance but has a very cheap feel to it when you there. This is a potential nice stay if you don't have a problem. It's very convenient if you are interested in the board walk and renting a boat or wave runner. If you have a problem, you would be hard pressed to find an adult who will take responsibility. This was our worst Wyndham experience, and we have stayed in a number of them. read more

Where do I start. The low rating on this review is mostly geared towards the service and staff and not the room. I booked a penthouse suite (PH06) for 7 nights to accommodate myself, my wife, my two kids, my parents and my in laws. While the room was spacious and nice, the room and the hotel itself had many flaws. The room while beautifully decorated with the most beautiful view you'll ever see, it needs updated. Multiple rooms need painted, the patio furniture feels like it's going to break when you sit on it and one of the toilets needs plunged any time you use toilet paper. The wifi is absolutely atrocious and you can't use a streaming device. The trash can for this size of the room is one I'd expect for a studio apartment. All of this isn't a huge deal and if these were the only issues, this rating would have been 3.5-4 stars (almost strictly for the view) My biggest gripe is the service here at the Emerald Grande. First I'll start off with the beginning of the week where we tried multiple times to get in touch with concierge in order to obtain a motorized scooter or something for my mother in law whom has a hard time getting around. Despite there being multiple places in the area that do this, we had to do the leg work. In the end we couldn't find anything and the front desk let us use a wheelchair (that we had to go get ourselves from downstairs). Concierge here is non-existent, they were not helpful trying to book a fishing trip or rent a pontoon boat, we had to do all the legwork ourselves to find a good deal and didn't even get recommendation from them on the rare occasions they answered the phone. Paying this much, I felt like we should have someone to help out with these things when we needed as most hotels do. In addition outside of the front desk and bellman, the staff is rude. My wife was on a crutch recovering from a hip replacement so naturally we gravitated to the closest elevator we could use which happens to be outside of our room. This particular elevator has a sign saying it may be slow during the hours of 9-4pm while housekeeping is working but you can still use it. Once we were in with housekeeping whom told us we should use the other elevator as my wife is standing with a crutch. Speaking of housekeeping....there is none. As I mentioned before our trash can is quite small and with 8 people we accumulated multiple bags of trash that we had to take to a trash room. There is no coming to get your trash for you or turn down service. There is nothing until you leave. While we had a great vacation, these things matter when you are spending $6,000 for a week. In summary, you're getting great views and space with a room that needs updated, no housekeeping, no service, no WiFi, rude staff and a below average experience. read more

The employees here are very dishonest for an example I tried to book a fishing trip with them and they stole my information and did not book the trip "special" they had. The location itself is great as it is right on harbor walk and the beach shuttle was effective, and the beach itself nicely managed with chairs and umbrellas there ready for use. Most employees were very nice and helpful. The rooms themselves are pretty nice looking and spacious on the surface. But that is the end of the positives. The actual infrastructure and bones of this place are clearly decrepit. I have never taken a shower where it just randomly and completely cuts off every two minutes. Then comes back cold for one minute, hot for one minute and then turns off. This was not just limited to us, as everyone in multiple elevators complained about this. It was only addressed on our 6th day here. Prior reviews from half a year ago noted similar issues about the showers yet clearly senior management of this place has refused to make any actual investments to fix the underlying issues. The elevators leave you waiting for 4-7 minutes on average and are full half the time even when they do arrive. There were nails on wooden posts left in the middle of a hallway next to the elevator where any child could cut themselves. The security cards only work on some of the guest elevators, and I could keep going on. For Wyndham: how do they expect anyone to want to sign up for a timeshare when the place they're hosting you in a place where they are not keeping up with the timeshare maintenance appropriately? Why would anyone want to pay hundreds of dollars in maintenance fees for a timeshare when clearly Wyndham does not seem to care about putting a dime of your maintenance fees back into actual infrastructure maintenance? Horrible. Run away from Wyndham timeshares like the plague. They trick you in with reasonable initial rates, but then your maintenance fees rise uncontrollably and you are trapped in a contract. Look on EBay and you will see people are trying to sell timeshares for pennies just to get out of them. Additionally, they must be using those maintenance fees for sales commissions, executive bonuses, and/or something else because clearly the majority of those hundreds of dollars in maintenance they collect from each owner are NOT being used to maintain this property. read more

We stayed here for our family vacation Aug 2021. Let me jump right in to why this place only has 2 stars. The elevator went out during our stay for 3 days. Our condo was on the 7th floor. We had to haul groceries etc up the stairs. The front desk staff were unconcerned they didn't even bother to place a sign on the elevator nor were they informing new guests that were arriving. The pool area is tiny and not big enough to accommodate the number of guests in this condominium. The spa staff here are very rude and racist. My teens and I were treated like we didn't belong in the fitness area and also harassed and followed into the restroom area to be monitored. It was very upsetting and disgusting. The experience overall was just not what I expected or paid for. I wouldn't stay here again. read more
