Hell NO!

Okay so this place was always a little sketchy, but the food was always good. I dare say their dumplings were honestly the best I ever had. I know they were home made because I walked in there one day when they were making them. An era has come to an end my friends, new management and staff just served us the most disgusting box of crap I think I have ever seen. These are the "new" dumplings (see photo) and the are uneatable. Dog didn't even want them and she eats her own poop. This place is a lost cause, run away.

Great little Chinese cookery in Chesapeake Beach. Always had a great dinner served with those extra amenities.

First, I have to give them credit for cleaning up the restaurant. New menu also prices went up but…read morenot a large jump. I forgot to write a review after our dinner visit last week, when my wife and I both ordered the General Tso's chicken. It was excellent, honestly one of the best versions I've had in a long time. The sauce wasn't overly thick like it had been on a few previous visits, but it still had plenty of flavor. I went back yesterday for lunch and ordered the General Tso's chicken lunch special, spicy, with fried rice and a soda. I chose all white meat, the price was a great deal at just $9.95 plus $1 for white meat. When I got home and opened the bag, I could see why they had to staple the container shut--it was packed so full! Once I opened it, I was surprised by just how much food there was. It actually looked like more than the dinner portion we usually get. The food looked terrific, and the sauce was just right--not too thick, exactly how I like it. It seemed like the same cook who made our dinner the previous week had prepared it. My one complaint is that I wish they wouldn't over-fry the chicken. I noticed they put the chicken in the fryer basket and then place another basket on top. I wonder if that presses the pieces together and prevents the hot oil from circulating properly. The outside pieces can end up overcooked, while the chicken in the middle stays juicy but clumps together. That's a small criticism compared with everything else they do well. The portions are generous, the prices are excellent, and the General Tso's chicken has been consistently delicious on my recent visits. Overall, China King remains my favorite place for Chinese food in the county. With the improvements they've made and the quality and value of the food, I'll definitely keep coming back!

I love their egg rolls and veggie lo mein! It's always a great hit! We usually do carry out from…read morehere anytime we want Chinese!

Everyone that's eaten there or gotten their take out has complemented the meal's taste, freshness, and quantity. East Cafe is the only Chinese take out place I've eaten in. They bring you out big plates (it seems like you get more, at least when you order the combination platters), and the food is steaming hot. The rice is perfectly cooked and the meals are delicious. Seriously, it is worth the drive. Going to East Cafe has always been a treat, so I'm not sure where the negative reviews come from. I've been visiting here for years and have never had a meal less than amazing. They have an extensive menu, so special order cooking, have a drink display at the front and I don't think I've ever had a pink lemonade that cold before in my life. It was so refreshing. The bathrooms are decent, nothing perfect, but also not bad. They are clean, stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. The girls are the register are nice too. Sometimes you can see how hectic it gets but the quality of the food never sways. They have parking for the conjoining shops off to the side, so parking is never a problem. Inside has been really busy a few times. It wasn't because of issues, there were just so many people trying to place or pick up orders. There was a quick turn around, but people line up and the phones go crazy. I can't wait until the next time I get to chow down.
