Perfectly reasonable Asian Take Away at very good prices Our family recently vacationed near Disney and my wife was kind enough to offer to pick up some Chinese food on her way back from the store. She is MSG adverse and so is somewhat picky - an online search revealed Pei Wei. We had the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wrap, Wasabi Crunch Roll, Hot & Sour Soup, Blazing Bangkok Steak, Kung Pao Chicken, and Steak and Shrimp Ramen. It was all reasonably flavorful though the Kung Pao and Hot and Sour Soup were nowhere near spicy enough. And the 'Crunch' part of the Wasabi Roll didn't really survive transit - it may be something you need to eat fresh out of the kitchen. All in all, good eats at a very good price. Or to put it another way, infinitely better than fast food Chinese and nowhere near as tasty as a 'real' Chinese restaurant. YMMV. read more

I was craving some quick Chinese and stopped by the Celebration location. It was very disappointing. I ordered the bento box with the sweet and sour chicken and a side of 2 spring tools to go. When I got home I found that the salad had no dressing in it or on the side. The sushi roll was soggy ( it was a crunch roll ) and it did not taste fresh. The crab Rangoon was soggy and also tasted like it had been sitting around. The only redeeming factor is that the sweet and sour chicken was good. It was loaded with pineapple, peppers, carrots onions and ginger and a fair amount of chicken. The spring rolls were average. I may rethink another visit as I'd rather spend $17.16 on lunch somewhere that the food is at least good. read more

I've been sitting outside for an hour and half and no one had been out to clean the food on the floor. They are not busy today and the waiter had been outside 3 times to bring food but NO ONE seems to care that food is in the floor. This is how you get ants crawling on your feet. As far as the food this location food is not very good I ate at the other location about 15 minutes away last night at I gave them 5 stars. My husband, myself, and 5 year old daughter ate here for lunch yesterday and were very pleased. I had the Spicy Polynesian Poke Bowl. My husband had the Ahi Tuna salad and my daughter had the kids lo mein with chicken. All the fish and veggies were fresh and beautiful. The food was flavorful and delicious. My 5 year old cleaned her plate, which is rare for her. We didn't experience any of the problems mentioned in the negative reviews. The place was clean, the chicken was cooked, our orders were correct, and the staff was polite. Additionally, it was a very affordable price. I'd like to give this location 5 stars. I'd like to say how good the food was. I'd like to say I left happy and satisfied. However, I didn't get my food. I waited in line for 22 minutes after I was told it would be 5-10minutes for my to go order. Furious. At the time of writing this, I have STILL not been refunded. Only ONE person in the entire restaurant moved with any hustle. Everyone else simply didn't care that it was 1:00pm and there were hungry people waiting. The cashier had ZERO empathy that I didn't get my food. When I told her I was leaving, I didn't get one apology. Nothing. I will not return and I will encourage everyone in the three, 4-story office buildings I work at across the street not to go. This was my number one go to for lunch when I'm in celebration. I was so excited when this place opened. Food and service was great, but unfortunately it has taking a turn for the worst. Like every other chain restaurant quick to take your money but low on expectations. We decided to give Pei Wei a crack tonight, after returning from the hospital with our sick (but well) son. We went with takeout as we had to pick our daughter up and it was already getting late. The only times I had tried this place, at other locations...we sat in and were satisfied. We ordered the honey chicken with white rice, mongolian steak with brown rice, and a kids chicken bowl. It took under ten minutes (remember, this is not Panda...it is better) to get our food. We got home and it was nice and hot, as they use plastic togo containers...which are nice for retaining heat :) The food was fresh and the veggies nice and crispy. We had enough for all three of us to have leftovers. We are excited to have this place right up the street. This easily exceeds any of the local joints! read more

First want to say if you like high sodium content food, this is your place to go. The food was very tasty, made more so by the salt. I was curious about the sodium and asked them what was the count on my meal...the manager was reluctant to give it out but it was 2,350, which is I presume my sodium content for the day. I have never been a huge fan of Pei Wei but last night my boyfriend and I were hungry and I had a gift card so we decided to go for it. I placed an online order at 8:53, not realizing that they closed at 9:00, so I was surprised when they called a few minutes after 9:00 asking if I was going to pick up my order. I felt really bad for not realizing that they closed early (who closes at 9:00 anyway?) and we apologized for arriving so late (we were there by 9:10). I have to say that my orange chicken tasted amazing! Good to know that I can expect good quality food even as they are trying to close up. My boyfriend's kung pao chicken was a little skimpy on the chicken but he seemed to enjoy it. Looks like I'll be checking out Pei Wei again soon! read more

I have been a professional chef now for over 35 years and I choose to eat out because sometimes I need a change of pace so I chose Pie-Wei. I did not have a good experience because I was inconvenienced in such a way that I needed to drive all the way back to the restaurant from my home because my order was less than desirable. I ordered a Shrimp Pad-Thai extra shrimp because it's one of my favorite dishes to eat minus peanuts. And I ordered a chicken teriyaki for my son which if i may add was absolutely horrible. The Pad-Thai was extremely dry with no flavor and no extra shrimp. The Shrimp tasted as if they were boiled and were thrown on top of the noodles with no sauce and the chicken teriyaki was over breaded and very greasy to the point that the chicken was exposed and breading a mush. When I drove back the restaurant was almost closed. I went in and spoke to the cook which was the GM after I asked the cashier if I could speak to the manager. I proceeded to tell him about my food that he made and all he could tell me was " THE FOOD QUALITY THAT YOU GET WHEN YOU DINE-IN IS DIFFERENT THAN THE FOOD THAT YOU GET WHEN YOU ORDER TAKE OUT.... whaaaaat????? Are you serious????? I told him that he should never ever make that comment to a customer. I was beside myself in shock that he actually answered me that way!!! Who hired this guy??? All the employees were wearing masks and were very friendly. One in particular, a young man named Treyson , was so friendly and even interacted with my special needs daughter. The prices are very good and the food was so fresh and delicious! We both had the dan dan bowl and loved every bite. The portions were big and we brought some back to our hotel. This is my very first yelp review, and I only sending this because my experience was that bad. The food here is very good, but the customer service is appalling. I am visiting from out of town and was staying at the Malia hotel a 10 to 15 minute walk to this location. When I got back to my hotel room my order was completely wrong. I called them and the young man who said he was the manager named Lee said he cannot bring food to me because they did not have delivery, but if I bring it back they would credit me. I walked back and when I got there, he told me he never said that and that I was calling him a liar. I was very calm and I said young man I never use the word liar, but regardless your behavior is disrespectful to somebody twice your age or any customer for that matter. He continued to argue with me saying that he pack the food himself and that order was correct even though I showed him the receipt and the contents of the bag which did not match. He finally went into the back room to get the real manager, because I told him I was not leaving until I spoke to somebody with authority. It took them 25 minutes to credit back my Credit card account. This is not the case of the customer is always right. This is the case of right and wrong, and common courtesy to not only a customer but to any person. This Young man should be firedOr at the very least receive proper training on how to deal with customers. read more

Stopped just before the dinner crowd. We ordered the General Tso rice bowl with the fried rice and with pork egg rolls and crab rangoon. The crab Rangoon was excellent. The pork egg roll was only fair. It even squirted some oily water on my shirt when I bit into it. They should not be that wet. The main dish was very good as was the fried rice. The Generals chicken was spiced just right with a fair amount of heat and had a good crispy texture. The fried rice was tasty and plentiful. This is a cross between fast food and full service. FOOD POISONING! I just want to start out by saying the staff was very nice. However, I am NEVER going to another Pei Wei again in my life after this experience. The carelessness of the food preparation baffles me. And the quality of the food is not worth the price. The restaurant was organized yet dirty. There was fingerprints and smeared food on the counter that looks days old. I made the mistake of ordering the spicy tuna roll. I noticed the green onions were wilted and the color of the tuna was off. I was debating on complaining because I was in a rush so I took 2 bites. Well, 2 bites was all it took for me to be sick for 7 days now. I had to miss work and go to the doctor. They gave anything I wanted without question (which was very nice). I asked the cashier how fresh the sushi was and she said they prepare it every morning. I don't know if that is true, but if they do, it doesn't matter because they did not store the tuna roll properly. IT WAS WARM! The tall thinner cashier with the curly hair should really watch what hensays when customers are in here dining. Pei wei is what you'd expect. It's not the best thing known to man when it comes to cuisine, but it isn't the worst thing ever. Just your average dining experience for your average on-the-go sorts, but not kinda, mood. This time around, I had the honey seared chicken with fried rice. It was a little under seasoned in my opinion, and it definitely needed some soy sauce to be more appealing. The restaurant itself was well taken care of, and the way pei wei works with how you're meant to leave your finished plates on the table has always been interesting to me. That's kinda what gives it that fast-food, but kinda a sit-down restaurant type vibe. There's other things on the menu I've enjoyed from pei wei in the past, like the California roll they have or the crab wontons. One thing I will say is delicious from here is the pork egg rolls. Definitely try a couple of those with their signature mustard sauce if you haven't. read more
