I love the nightlife here; the music, the alcohol, the food, the karaoke, the environment. However,, recently, I stopped participating in karaoke. I have been disrespected multiple times by the people that monitor the karaoke, particularly one person that I believe also is part of the drag shows or assists with the drag shows. I fail to understand why, and maybe it being due to the fact their friend has, in a way, even if by hovering around and listening into my conversations, possibly expressed interest (and yes, I can say I reciprocate that interest, which is why I do not mind that he does it; even if we do not talk to each other due to being too shy), but this one person has continued to disrespect me and be petty in a way that is just no longer acceptable. I am there for the what I listed before, not because of a person. If I have signed up for karaoke before, and this person was monitoring it, when it became my turn, I saw my name and so I began walking up to the stage, and waited for my name to be called, but when they called my name, they made it seem like it was a problem. This is not the first time they have done that to me, for whatever unacceptable reason. So today, I am in the front area, early evening, having a personal conversation with my friend (involving my friend making unwanted advances toward me in the past and me finally calling it out in a serious conversation to help guide him), this person walks by with a different friend, and overhears, and in a petty move, let out an unnecessary laugh when further away, but too, knocked over an electric scooter, and not lightly, but didn't pick it up or anything (it did get scratched up), like is this person needing to be that petty to where they destroy public property and not care, or to laugh at a conversation like that that they had no part involving themselves in? I don't mind if their friend listens, he is a gorgeous guy and is actually respectful and carries himself well, but this behavior from this one person, it is not acceptable anymore. I do not know this person, and yes, I'd like to get to know their friend, but I respect boundaries and am shy, and I also do not assume about people, or try to ruin the happiness of other people. I get to know people because I am respectful enough to do so and not listen to false narratives from other people. read more

My Name Is Kyle Steen and Pegasus Blocked My Account and Banned Me to Protect Themselves. This Is What Happened and What Will Happen Now. I Am Suing PEGASUS NIGHTCLUB SAN ANTONIO. Their BarBack, While Drunk and High Last Night, Harassed Me, After I IEmbarassed Then, for Attempting to Embarrass Me. I Also Called It Out When They Harassed Me, and When I Said I Noticed Their Employee Is Drunk or High, He Said to Ban Me, to Protect His Employee, Yet He Was Also Drinking a Beer In Work Uniform (It Is Against TABC Law, So Much So That a Liquor License Is Able to Be Revoked). So I Said I Am In My Every Right to File a Lawsuit, and Began Slowly Activating My TikTok LIVE, and As I Did, and His Security Tried to Get Him to Stop, The Manager Told Me to Go Kill Myself In Front of the Whole Fromt Area. I Caught It via TikTok LIVE. I Did Notify TABC, I Notified Health Inspector, I Did Everything Now, for Their Unlawful Actions Against Me. They Do Not Like Me Due to the Way I Sense Stuff and Call Things Out, Especially When I Notice It Is About Me, Their Employee Came At Me with An Aggressive Attitude, Admitted to Viewing My Social Media Profiles (Harassed Me), and Due to Being Embarrassed Attempted to Do the Same Thing to Me. The Events That Followed Allow for Full Standing of a Legal and Liable Lawsuit, and After Five Years if This Place Attempting to Mess with My Life and Hack My Devices (Yes, I Know About That, Too; Enjoy Those Felonies, I Track Everything. I Have Always Been a Good Person, to Be Treated Like This, Openeed Up Every Door for a Rightful Lawsuit, and Yes, I Am Filing the Lawsuit. Thw Venue Deserves to Shut Down. I Will Make Sure of That. read more

Considering that there are so few gay bars in SA, Pegasus had always been a decent alternative to The Bonham Exchange when I used to visit one of my old friends who lives there but now, Pegasus has seemed to lose its edge. It's not all that exciting anymore and too many screaming straight girls have ruined it. Considering that in Republican TX, gay people can still LEGALLY be refused service at any hetero bar, we need more gay bars but we don't that cater to gay people. It's disturbing that the owner of Pegasus - a gay bar - supports anti-gay politics such as legal discrimination of gay people in Texas at all establishments, and in the workplace, housing etc. This bar still brings in crowds and it still gets jumpin' around 11:00 pm but I do have concerns about the fact that the owner is a big Trump-Republican. I also have concerns that there has been at least one shooting there and I think one other in the past year? I really want to support this place since there are so few gay bars in town but this pro-Trump politico who owns this place ruins it for me read more

The only good thing about this place is cheap drinks.....The Pegasus has so much potential yet the owner refuses to put money into it. I think the owner is too busy focusing his earnings on supporting Mr. Trump "MAGA". Many Gays have boycotted this place due to The owner's personal political views, I don't care about that, I do care about soap being available in the restroom and cleanliness of a place. I have two bartenders that I visit regularly, If they weren't there I think I would be I'll elsewhere. read more

*READ* staff will kick you out because they can't keep their personal-life feelings out of the workplace and will take it out on you. YUP you read that right lol. they kick out people for dancing, complain about tips, the staff being grown-ass men will harass you through their personal pages because they are just that immature. sad grumpy old man lol Theres WAY BETTER bars around that area. avoid this filth. read more

if I could give this place a negative review I would!! this place is a cess pool of filth and an embarrassment to the gay community!! Just because im in a gay bar doesn't mean I want my cock sucked off in the bathroom nor am I looking to score dope... 2 things you can expect to happen here... Meth has made its way throughout San Antonio so watch your ass in more ways than one. read more

Be careful the security is homophobic for a gay bar ... I was thrown out for lifting my drink to try to avoid dropping it on anyone and a security grabbed me and put his hands violently to throw me out and I told him it was crowded and I didn't want to spill my drink on anyone and he said I don't care ur out of here true homophobic in a gay bar read more

It should be obvious to anyone reading these reviews that all these negative stories are completely fabricated. It's clear there is a political witch hunt on. The world is not going to burn down because a republican owns a gay bar. Sane people might even say that this could be a very positive thing. read more

Listen to the negative reviews on this yelp. THIS IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO TO TO. Not a safe space. If you want to experience racism, get manipulated for profit, and possible injuries for no reason, then Pegasus is your place. Please for your safety don't go. read more

Do the bathrooms here ever NOT smell like pee? Are the toilets ever NOT overflowing? The owner of this bar supports antigay politicians... there really isn't a good reason to like this bar. read more
