Considering that there are so few gay bars in SA, Pegasus had always been a decent alternative to The Bonham Exchange when I used to visit one of my old friends who lives there but now, Pegasus has seemed to lose its edge. It's not all that exciting anymore and too many screaming straight girls have ruined it. Considering that in Republican TX, gay people can still LEGALLY be refused service at any hetero bar, we need more gay bars but we don't that cater to gay people. It's disturbing that the owner of Pegasus - a gay bar - supports anti-gay politics such as legal discrimination of gay people in Texas at all establishments, and in the workplace, housing etc. This bar still brings in crowds and it still gets jumpin' around 11:00 pm but I do have concerns about the fact that the owner is a big Trump-Republican.
