Im not used to the bar scene, but if this is the standard then it must be fun! Massive place with multiple dance floors, gambling, about 5 bars, karaoke, drag shows and a outdoor eating area. This ain't a box in the middle of the ghetto, its a establishment...in the middle of the ghetto. Bathrooms can be gnarly at times, staff is great and friendly and lastly the vibe is truly fun with a great variety of men women and all sexualities. I came in the other night and kept my tab open. When I went to settle up, they handed me someone else's card. Since it was the same color, I didn't think to check the details and ended up using another patron's card and money to pay my tab. The next day, when I returned to retrieve my card, I was told they didn't have it. I spoke with the manager over the phone, and he couldn't have cared less. They didn't even want my name or number so I could make things right with the other guy. It's honestly infuriating how careless and greedy these people are--thieves and fraudsters without a shred of morality. Whatever you do, don't trust them with your money. read more

You have to be very careful visiting this place. A number of people have reported being roofied, beaten up and having item on them like jewelry being stolen. When reported to the police, they laugh it off because of the kind of place it happened and they don't take your wallets. But the poor victims wake up black and blue. read more

All the really good singers that I've known for between 5-10 years were there: Damien, George, Michael and a new person, Jesse. Jesse rocked Selena. Even Eric from Houston was visiting and we performed our duet 'Cruisin'. We got a great response, so I guess we didn't suck. As usual, the place doesn't start to get crowded until about 11, so you can probably be in the rotation to sing a couple of songs before all the others start signing up. Bartenders on the patio are sometimes hit and miss. I sometimes wonder if that's where the newbies cut their teeth. I found myself going inside to get my drinks from Simon, another person I've known for years. I did notice that the number of cabs coming by has really decreased. Jonathan was a stellar bartender and catered to our eccentric lil preferences "chamoy" on the rim not just in the glass. The stars are for him. Lady friendly bathroom smelled like a portapotty and two men walked in and left their empty drug bag in the sink when they walked out. -2 stars ‍ The KJ hostess was ok for the first song but got jelly and skipped us 3x until we complained about it and then miraculously we were next! This is where she used her audio manipulating skills to make the mic sound like your singing in a tin can. So unprofessional. Have been coming here for years, but will never come back. A Pegasus worker offered us two barstools to sit at to watch the drag show. All the sudden another worker, maybe a manager but didn't act like it, comes out and said "we can't sit there because it is in front of VIP" ... We said someone else who worked for him offered us these seats, didn't care. All this happening while the ONLY person sitting in VIP said to me "move or I will f*** you up" - This ONE person drinking water sitting in VIP not even tipping the queens who paid for his cheap a** obstructed view was worth more than a frequent customer. Yay! I'm a fan. At least that is what Yelp.com says, but no really I actually really like this place. To start the place is 21 and up meaning the kiddies can't get in which is great. As soon as you get past the bouncer to the right there is a taco stand for all the drunk asses who need a bite to eat. The best way to describe the bar is that it is divided into three sections with different types of music. There's the patio right next to the entrance with etc type of music, there is the main bar where they have chill music throughout the night and a stage for karaoke, and then there is a third section where they play all that ratchet ghetto shit with the occasional Selena song. And no, I don't mean Selena Gomez. Ew. We're talking authentic Latin flavor Selena. It can be a bit difficult to get a drink in the ratchet section because of the amount of ratchetness congregating there so I recommend you go to the karaoke side of the bar, get your drink, and go back to Inglewood after. The bathroom situation is a bit meh. Not the cleanest environment but it is a bar so don't expect much. Two bathrooms of course, I don't think they are gender assigned. There are no stalls and there is a toilet in the corner where you can do your thing in front of everyone, reminds me of county jail tbh, you know, like in the movies where you take a deuce in front of all your brothers. Mmhmm! I always hear from lesbians about how there are not very many 'lezi' bars and most of the LGBT clubs cater to the 'G'. Well ladies, come thru because there are a ton of lesbians here. Horrible place!!! This is the worst place I've been to in my life. I'll never come back to this place again. The music sucks, the staff is very rude, and it's always empty. I also found a piece of a dirty nail in my beer. I complained to the staff and the security said I put the thing in my own beer. They threw me and my party out because of this. I went here with some of my LGBTQ friends and it was a lot of fun to do karaoke! People were very encouraging when others sang. There's a lot of rooms and different areas to hang out at as well as several bars so you don't have to wait too long to get a drink. The only thing I wish was that there was more than just one individual womens bathroom because there is always a long line. This club/bar can be very fun. There are several rooms and each one has a bar. The bartender in the far back corner seemed the friendliest to me so I only purchased my drinks from him. I liked how after two drinks, I didn't have to keep telling him what I wanted. He had it memorized and it made getting my drinks faster. The music is awesome. You can't help but to dance and the music is up to date which is good. Drink prices are reasonable and made very well. I just moved to San Antonio and went here alone. Pegasus is usually a fun place if I want to feel in my 20s again. I love the outdoor space and all the rooms at the location. The later you go the more packed it is so it makes it hard to move around after awhile. The bartenders are "friendly-neutral" for lack of better words. They get you what you need but that's about it. They are not rude. I love the music videos on the big screen outside and sometimes they have drag queens performing entertainment. It's not a cliquey crowd which I like but definitely more of a younger group. Drinks are a similar price to all others on Main Street but it does take a little bit to get a drink when it's crowded. I'm not opposed to going to Pegasus but it's not my first pick. Don't get me wrong; you'll probably have a good time but should know everything before going. I had a great time with some friends until I had to use the bathroom. My friend came with me and I used the bathroom. When I realized the bathroom stall didn't lock i asked my friend to hold the door so I could get some privacy and upon finishing there was one person waiting in line. When we left the restroom the security quickly pulled us out of the bar saying we were being disruptive and aggressive towards the other patrons of the bar and that we needed to leave. When we tried to explain to them what happened and that I only wanted a little bit of privacy to use the bathroom they said I was being aggressive and that i needed.to leave. When I explained to the manager what had happened HE said i was fine to stay and then was immediately overruled by a different manager. All I wanted to do was use the restroom with some privavcy and the securty guard LIED to the manager and refused to tell me why I was being kicked from the bar. It was very unprofessional and very unhospitable. All i wanted to do was use the restroom with some privacy and I was told to leave immediately after. When asked for a reason why, the bouncer didn't say anything concerning my conduct and I was told "you can leave or we can call the cops". Prior to being asked to leave, I was enjoying my time, but the demeanor of the employee was inappropriate, out of line and uncouth. Our whole group was completely sober and not harmful whatsoever, so this response was confusing and unnecessary. I had my card on my hand trying to get his attention and he didn't acknowledge me for over 10 minutes and he was clearly just standing there talking to the other bartender. Then I had to go to the other bartender on his side and same thing. Then when he finally was able to get me a beer I asked him to please go with my 2 friends to get their order because the other bartender keeps ignoring us,and I gave him a tip but he didn't even bother to go with them. If I were the owner of this place I wouldn't have employees who don't want to sell to clients, and treat them so rude.
