Dodging yet another storm that rolled through when our group was here, we posted up in Nelson's Green Brier for an hour or so. I haven't struggled so much like I have here to pick a craft cocktail. There are so many good ones on the menu that fit any type of pallet, that it took me so long to decide. I got a modified old fashioned and then there was a martini-like drink that I tried. Both really packed a punch, luckily we were walking to our next destination. In the store they seemed to have a flash-sale going on for one of the bourbons. It was normally around $75 or something and I got it for $45. I am sure that's not normal but it really made the selection even better, because the wall of whiskey/bourbon is also really tough to choose what you want!

I'm 30 years old and have used this license without issue for years. When I asked what specifically was wrong with the ID, nobody could provide an explanation. Instead, staff consulted a manager and simply told me they would not be serving me. Meanwhile, the other members of my group, all around the same age and carrying valid IDs, were able to order drinks without issue. As an Asian customer, I left this establishment believing I was racially profiled. I was singled out, denied service despite presenting valid identification, and never given a legitimate explanation for why my ID was supposedly unacceptable. Since the incident, I have found multiple reviews from other customers of color describing experiences that raised similar concerns about profiling and disparate treatment. The entire experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and unacceptable. There are plenty of businesses in Nashville that can verify IDs without treating customers this way.

They do validate parking inside for 2 hours, so DO NOT pay in the parking lot. I ordered the big breakfast, which was the perfect size to share. Overall very enjoyable and flavorful. There was more than enough food on the platter. You should leave here full and satisfied. I DO NOT recommend the pineapple mimosa. The pineapple flavor tasted and looked very artificial and I'm unsure if it was even prepared properly considering the glass it came in. It lacked the bubbles part of a mimosa. This would be a great spot for a bachelorette party, friend group, date etc.... This place gives rustic and southern hospitality. They do have live music, which always an added bonus in music city.

Big fan of Nashville Barrel! Great team, good drinks, fun…read morevibe, big space, free parking, close to downtown but out of the craziness. This distillery is stacked with barrels from floor to ceiling. Loved the yellow lighting and "barrel" decor of the space. It really transports you from the Broadway nuttiness to a place of chill, relaxing vibes. Not to mention they have an awesome old skool playlist that kept us vibing throughout our visit. The bourbon itself was great - my standout was the Team Buckeye AM bourbon barrel pick with warm caramel and brown sugar notes, but I also was pleasantly surprised by the 8 year Rum which I had to proof down to get the nuance but has great flavor levels top to bottom. Learnt a lot about how to "chew" bourbon (did not help with the burning btw..lol). Staff were so pleasant and friendly. Worth a stop when in Nashville!

The men chose whiskey, while I chose wine. When the reservations were booked, the website said the wine pairing would include 4 samples...however, they only provided 3 very small sample of wine and a cup of water. The three samples of whiskey that the men had were also small. We expected some type of artisan chocolates to go with the alcohol, as shown in the photos on the website. However, three small pieces of Dove chocolate were included for each person. This was all a little disappointing, but the host was friendly, the place was interesting and it was a unique experience.
