My new obsession is their chai latte with almond milk, extra hot :) (Well it started a few years ago, but I re-discovered it again this year). The people who work here are super friendly, especially Bryan! Thanks Bryan for teaching me how to use my app and for always remembering my order! You're awesome! Can't wait to get my chia latte fix for the week!

Quaint little coffee shop in the downtown Winnetka area. While my friend and I were here most of the clientele were a bit older but we did see a cute sight of a young man being tutored by a senior. Awwww bridging the generational gap! I love it! I had a matcha green tea latte with skim milk and it was very good. I was actually quite happy that when I ordered this he actually asked me what kind of milk I would like and if I wanted sugar syrup added. I wish SBux would do such a thing instead of just assuming you want every single ounce of fat & sugar they can pack into a drink. My friend and I sat in a couple of comfy chairs....I was slightly grossed out. They need a bit of cleaning! The surface looked just fine but in the cracks of the chairs I saw TONS of crumbs and other random grossness. Ugh. Please give these chairs a deep cleaning. Other than that, I was happy with Peet's Coffee and enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere chilling here.

Going here for coffee with my boyfriend is one of my favorite things to do early on Sundays. The golden cold brew is literally their best drink!

Awful. Their coffee is pretty bad I'd drink Starbucks over this place. Also their waffle sandwich was a disaster. I don't even know what this is supposed to be but it's disgusting. Don't go here you'll be disappointed

    Perfect hint of maple!

It's just so cute! If I had only one word to describe the new Peet's across from the new Taste On Chestnut restaurant, it would be...cute! This corner location used to be a Caribou. It just seems so full of life now. Brighter with lots of windows and a temperature inside that makes you want to stay. It was quiet tonight with the weather being so frightful outside, but the small crowd was a great mix of students studying, couples hanging and a group of lady friends having a meeting. I tried the new maple coffee drink. The head barista was super sweet and made my order with great pride. It had just enough flavoring to give it an extra kick, and it was foamy delicious! Great place to hang no matter what you're doing. Large space with a bunch of tables, so bring your friends along.

Yum yum yum!! I love this place for coffee. Super delicious and not too pricey!! One thing I would've changed is I wish they would've given me more cream cheese. I had a toasted everything bagel with plain cream cheese (their only cream cheese option but I'm bland so that's what I wanted anyway) and it was toasted perfectly just a little dry. I could've asked for more but didn't want to pay for more so here we are. The coffee is delicious though and I definitely would come back for another latte!!

Decided to check out downtown Winnetka one morning and needed a cup of coffee to help myself wake up.

I needed to bribe myself with coffee I didn't make myself and to get out of my house to plow through a bunch of work admin. I took a chance coming here because I know they have some laptop policies, particularly around Christmas. This time it was no laptops after 9am and then none on Friday and weekends during the holiday season. (During the rest of the year it's certain tables that aren't allowed to use laptops and/or certain tables at certain hours). I came in at 7am and it was good motivation for me to knock out a bunch of things efficiently since I have a 9am cutoff lol. They also now put that notice on their front door, which is helpful and was my complaint last year when I came here to do work on a Saturday and found out I couldn't. As always, the coffee was great, and the Home Alone installation is always fun. Their tartines are also always amazing. Definitely keeping this in my regular rotation.

I brought my own honey to drizzle on it! Next, I thought I'd try the pancakes. They were okay - light but not so fluffy. I'm used to a fluffier pancake - I make them regularly at home. Beating the eggs and letting the batter sit for several minutes enables the pancake to rise and accentuates the 'cake' of pancake.

Our server was nice. We ordered a few drinks and I ordered a Manhattan which I always do and my Manhattan had bubbles in it that would not go away as in soap bubbles. It was not great and I've never had that experience before. I had the French onion soup. It was really good, and then everybody else ordered the steak frites It was not cooked the way they asked for it to be cooked. It wasn't as good as they thought it would be for the price and overall we were underwhelmed by the food drinks at this place because we thought it would be a lot better for what we paid for the back room is cool though highly recommend it maybe next time we come we'll order something else and have a different experience but the food that we ordered at a French restaurant wasn't what we were expecting.
