Kevin and I absolutely love this Peet's location and definitely need to start stopping by more often. The atmosphere is relaxed, calm, and really comfortable. Such an easy place to sit and get some work done. They also have outdoor seating, which is a nice option when the weather is good. Everything is consistently delicious. Kevin ordered the Coconut Black Tie, and I got the Black Tie with light condensed milk, and both were perfection. Smooth, rich, and perfectly balanced without being overwhelming. The space is clean, comfortable, and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. The service is always great! We always leave feeling happy and refreshed. They have new employees who don't know what they are doing. Today I got a latte that was scalding! The barista even reacted when she touched it as she slopped it over the top. No foam nothing, she made every drink this way. Anyhow, so I burned my hand, trying to dump some out. The cup was too hot. I asked her to remake it and include foam. She made it luke warm. Why can't it be hot but not scalding? The first was like 180-200 dgrees, and the second like 70 sigh Needless to say despite refilling my card, I may not go back to this location. read more

This review is for my last three (non-consecutive) visits between late August and mid-September 2025. First, the good. The coffee is delicious, especially their dark roasts and international flavor offerings. They also have plenty of indoor and outside seating with shades for all customers, including the weekend warrior cyclists. Now, the very bad. I attempted to order the Turkey Bacon and Egg White Sandwich each time, and for all three times, they were out. Their oven was also broken twice during this period. Finally, when I was able to order food on my third visit, the Bacon and Cheddar Brioche sandwich was inedible. Clearly frozen for a long while, it was served up cold made Starbucks look like a whiten linen cloth restaurant. I was able to get a refund, however. The bathrooms were clean one out of three visits, with the disposal of overflowing trash being the worst problem. Finally, most of the staff here are really not friendly. The baristas seem uninterested and unmotivated to provide efficient and friendly service. There is one young lady who handles the majority of the orders in front that is the exception. As the only location in Santa Clarita, I am disappointed in this Peet's franchise. Management clearly needs to take more action and accountability to this spot. read more

One of my favorite Peet's! I stop by here when I take my car or my daughter's car in for service @Hello Kia. It's about a 10 minute walk from Kia's service center and other dealerships in the area. It's a great place to plant my arse, order a coffee and catch up on Yelp while waiting for my car to be serviced. I haven't been here in awhile and since I was in the area I had to stop on by for a quick midday drink. The barista/cashier was really helpful with my drink and made sure it was correct before she charged me for my order. Since it wasn't crowded I didn't have to wait long for my drink to be made, less then five minutes and I was on my way! Also there chai is light tasting, was perfect that it was an ice drink. LOVE this coffee shop. Best cappuccinos and lattes! I've been looking for the "old traditional coffee house feel"; where the atmosphere AND seating is meant to welcome patrons to socialize and "feel like a community". It truly feels like a place to enjoy a great cup of coffee while being greeted by friendly staff (no snootiness here, when you ask for extra foam .) The best part is that these are TRUE baristas that can actually MAKE coffee drinks that taste like the $5+ cup of gourmet coffees that you're paying for. I rary leave reviews, good or bad, but wow, this one deserved it. I was in town for a work trip, picked up an online order at Peet's, and got greeted like I'd just insulted someone's grandma. The two ladies at the counter were so rude I genuinely thought it might be one of those "we're-mean-on-purpose" themed restaurants. Spoiler: it's not. Spoiler: I knew it wasn't. I asked (very politely) if they had a spoon for my oatmeal, and got hit with a condescending "is it not in the bag?" energy like I'd just asked for their social security number. I'll admit, I could've double-checked since I had multiple bags , totally fair. But there was absolutely no reason for the attitude. I even apologized and said, "Oh, sorry, my bad," then thanked them and wished them a good day. They just looked at me like I was an inconvenience for existing. Food and drinks? Actually great. Customer service? Could use a double shot of espresso and a personality. I'll give them another try whenever I'm in town because hey, bad days happen. I feel like Peet's Coffee is the underdog of the coffee world, with Starbucks being the caffeine king. I frequently switch between Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Leaf, but I haven't tried Peet's Coffee until I started working in Valencia. After doing some light shopping at HomeGoods across the walkway, I wanted to quench my thirst on such a hot summer day. I ordered an iced black tea with lemonade and although the price came out to be slightly more expensive than Starbucks, the quality of the beverage was pretty good. It wasn't too sweet, but still retained the tart taste. For the sake of convenience, I will probably opt in for Starbucks and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf because of their drive-thru options. But, if I'm shopping in the plaza again, I will stop by Peet's. read more

I'm a big fan of their coffee, I can't believe this is my first time reviewing them. I usually get their Havana Cappuccino, and it's so good! It's your typical cappuccino with a hint of condensed milk and cinnamon topping. It's heaven in a cup! They introduced chocolate swirl pumpkin bread, and I'm in love!! It's nice and moist ( don't know what else to say lol) and the sweetness level is just right. I highly recommend for sure! Lastly; you have to get a code from the staff to enter their restroom. Also It's been mentioned that service is not very warm, but I personally don't mind it. I did have to ask them a few things, and they accommodated accordingly. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Peet's Coffee & Tea. Mind you this is my first visit here from out of town while I had plans to go do other things. After placing an order for just two coffees, we waited for 20 minutes while watching at least six people who ordered after us get their drinks. I have to say, I am liking Peet's coffee way more than Starchumps, lol. They are a bit cheaper and offer more flavor. I ordered a caramel macchiato with almond milk. Iced this time around. Best coffee shop! I even prefer them over Starbucks (slightly). I wish they had locations in Florida. They are a Cali/West Coast based coffee shop only...I asked. What I love about them is they have a big selection of vegan products that include several plant-based milk options, Beyond Meat and Just Eggs! Woah! One of the many reasons I love Cali is due to their healthy lifestyle options. You can find healthy, vegan and vegetarian food just about on every corner. This place is cozy and makes you want to hang out for a bit which I did. Sipping coffee and eating breakfast with two of my favorite people this weekend is something I hold dear to my heart. The smell of freshly brewed coffee surrounds you with the comforting ambience of the coffee shop makes for an experience to remember. This location is in beautiful Santa Clarita. I love this area. I ordered the bran blueberry muffin with a Matcha tea iced with oatmilk. Yum! I loved it so much I went back again the following day and had another great experience. The staff is super helpful, friendly and quick. Plenty is free parking. We also ordered the vegan breakfast sandwich and veggie & cheese frittata, both very good. I've been coming to this Peet's location for a long time. Pretty much every time I come, my order is on point. The coffee here is very good and I have had a variety of the food here. They have an all plant based breakfast sandwich which is really good. My go to lately has been the Havana Cappuccino and the oatmeal. It's such a satisfying breakfast for when I need something quick or I don't feel like cooking at home. There is plenty of seating outside and now inside as well. I can usually always find a seat outside in the shade. I'm a big fan of this location and the staff here is very friendly. drinks are okay at peets coffee. customer service is terrible. last week i came here and they messed up one of my orders by making the drink hot instead of iced. when we mentioned it to the barista, there was no apology and she gave us a dirty look. today we went back hoping for a better experience and they messed up our orders again. they put whipped cream when we asked for none and they cancelled the other order? i waited about 10 minutes and it wasnt busy. i noticed their order screen didnt have any orders on it so i told them about my order and they said they would start making it. ive worked as a barista previously and this is very unprofessional. baristas need to pay more attention to the orders and have better customer service read more

Ever since I visited the original Peet's in Berkeley, I have loved this coffee. I am pretty fussy about quality and want to have the finest Arabica possible. I think Peet's has a better grade of Arabica than its biggest competitor, whose coffee is harsher and much hotter than tolerable, imo. We have a variety of Peet's coffees at home for our Keurig. This Sunday, we just wanted to stop for a quick double espresso on our way to another event. The place was busy but they went out of their way to keep everyone a safe distance from each other. Given how many people were there, our order was filled quickly. We were able to sit outside under a large umbrella and enjoy the smoothest espresso I have had in ages. Everything was pretty clean, too. The barista was friendly and the prices were reasonable. That's all I want when I hop into in a coffee place! I am thankful a backwater like Santa Clarita has kept this Peet's for over a decade, and through the nightmare of the past year. read more
