Love this coffee shop in OTN. It is conveniently located near the free public parking structure. It can get very busy on Saturdays. The baristas are friendly and the coffee is wonderful. Every espresso or drip coffee that we have tried have a full coffee flavor. Great place to meet friends, steal away for a quiet visit, lounge on the cute sofas or work away from home using the free wifi. I have not tried their pastries but they do look yummy. First time trying WE Lounge. Located on the corner and you can see the their little outdoor seating, which we chose to sit at because you also get a view of the big Christmas tree across the street. The inside is a shared space with an optometrist but everything feels very cohesive and homey. They had a winter menu with peppermint, gingerbread, and other festive ingredients for your drinks. We ordered an iced ube matcha and an iced regular matcha. We sat in the lounge couch while we waited for our drinks. We originally ordered two 16oz drinks, but mine came out in a 12oz size. We checked our digital receipt to make sure and sure enough they were both 16oz drinks. So I went to the counter to let them know. They took my 12 oz matcha (which looked delicious), and then like a minute later, handed me a 16oz matcha. To be honest, the new matcha looked slightly different in color. I didn't see them remake my new drink, but it felt like they took my 12 oz, put it in a 16oz cup, and just added milk to make up the difference. The ube matcha is great if you enjoy ube. It's sweet without it being too sweet. The green (matcha) and purple (ube) when mixed together will get you a mud color, so take those photos before and after mixing, haha. It tastes great though! The regular matcha was ok. It's hard to rate because of the mix up. I'm not sure if that was representative of their regular matcha, in which case, I do wish it had a stronger matcha flavor. It wasn't a weak drink, but it still tasted too milky. If they did indeed just add more milk to make up the difference in their mistake, then that would explain why it wasn't as strong, in which case that 12oz original drink would've been perfect. While we did sit in the patio, there is a restaurant a few doors down, and one of the workers there comes out for a cigarette break pretty often and the smell does blow over to this patio, which was unfortunate. We also got whiffs from the sewer nearby. Not sure if that's a daily thing but good to know for next time. read more

Overall I really enjoyed my drink here. I ordered the Gingerbread chai something or other and it was absolutely delicious. It was made fast and hot. My only complaint would be the obnoxiously loud group of teenagers that were yelling so loud that they constantly startled me from across the entire cafe. I know this isn't a library but this also isn't a playground. I hope the staff doesn't always allow such rude and loud behavior to discourage people from entering the cafe read more

Parking is hard to find, drinks are reasonably priced, service was great & the atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming but the coffee was not good at all. This little coffee shop is adorable and the service is great! We stopped in after a morning hike for a little pick me up and weren't disappointed. We got the Hazel eyes with us a Nutella latte and a hazelnut iced coffee. Both were super delicious but the Hazel eyes was my favorite! Once our drinks were ready, they brought they out to us while we were waiting on the couch. Small but very kind gesture and just shows the great service the offer! They share a space with a beautiful optometrist office and everything meshes so well together. They did have a more detailed menu inside with prices as well. Overall this place is great all around. This is the cutest coffee shop, right across from the farmers market. The inside kinda gives the vibe of the coffee shop in the tv show "Friends". Such a cute place to hang out. This was our first time at WE Lounge, and we were pleasantly surprised by the unique concept of sharing the space with an optometrist. It's a neat idea that likely draws business to both sides and creates an interesting atmosphere. I ordered The Nutty Doctor, a latte with Biscoff Cookie Butter, Espresso, and regular milk (with an option for Oat milk). The flavor was fantastic--rich and full of flavor without being overbearing like some specialty drinks can be. My wife had the Pink Eye, a latte with house-made rose syrup, espresso, and a choice of Regular or Oat milk, topped with imported rose petals. She loved it, saying the flavor was just perfect. The lounge also offers a nice assortment of pastries and bagels, which made for a great accompaniment to our drinks. If you really enjoy their coffee, you can purchase a bag to take home, and they have a variety of merch to choose from as well. The service was excellent; the staff was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a good cup of coffee. We'll definitely be back! read more

When you first walk in it looks like any ordinary coffee shop, but take a few steps further in and you can get your eye exam here too! I came here for the drinks and to meet with a fellow yee. We got the ice blonde with oat milk and a matcha with almond milk and vanilla sweetener. It does have a bitter taste to it like most matchas do, so I'm not sure if the vanilla did anything. I did go with the smaller size as I haven't tried this place before but I do want to try the chai next time. The service was great, drinks were made quickly but then again it wasn't that busy when we came in. This place is right around the corner from this cute Japanese bakery we've been coming to lately and I had no idea! It's connected to what looks like an eyeglass shop? So don't be confused when you walk into the wrong door LOL. It was a bit busy when we arrived but didn't take long at all for our order to be placed and made. We were looking for a new coffee shop to try and this one came up randomly. My bf mentioned they had a cookie butter latte and that has been my go to as of late. They have really cute signature drink names! The cookie butter one is called The Nutty Doctor, which I ordered and got iced. Perfect! It was a bit different at first but the more I drank it, the more it was familiar to me, just like the cookie butter I know. Absolutely delicious and will drive out here just for this. Nice and clean place...good aroma ! The barista is very nice and friendly. Coffee is ok. Beans are ground fresh. Mostly Nicaragua and Mexico origin. Not very well distributed so the shots were uneven. But it wasn't really bad so if your not a huge coffee snob this place does the trick. Pastries can definitely be better. The berry scone I got was a bit rubbery and oily....but the taste wasn't too bad. It may be because I asked for it to be heated and I suspect it was nuked from the texture. Toaster oven or something else would definitely be better. My husband got a lemon bar which tasted good but was a bit flat with not much lemon. Atmosphere is super chill here and the interior design is really cute. There are only about 12 seats in here though ...some of it counter seating so it's definitely not for big groups. Interestingly, this coffee shop is connected to an optometrist office so you can get some glasses or get your eyes checked while you drink your coffee. Well, if this isn't the cutest lil coffee shop surprise! This gem is connected to the optometry shop "Wide Open" so I wasn't sure what to expect. Thankfully I was greeted by a friendly barista in an impeccably designed, modern chic coffee shop. Bonus points for having ample outlets and seating! We ordered a cortado ($3.5) and a rose latte ($6) that includes edible rosebuds. We enjoyed both, though my latte was a tad too sweet for my taste. This is the cutest little coffee shop. I can't believe I didn't even know about it until just recently! It's so cute and cozy inside. Also I love that it's located inside of an actual optometry office... genius! So the drinks are named accordingly, which I thought was creative. The barista was super warm and welcoming when we first walked in, and since we mentioned that we had never been here before, she started suggesting their popular drinks and explaining each drink which was so helpful. I was originally going to order the "Pink Eye" which is a rose latte, but I saw they had a holiday menu so I ordered an iced gingerbread latte and it was SO good! I have to take advantage of those seasonal/temporary flavors while they last, but I will definitely be back to try the rose latte next time! I will admit that prices are a little steep (I paid $8.49 for my 16 oz iced gingerbread latte w/ oat milk). Especially for only having 12 oz or 16 oz sizes. I would at least feel a little better if it was a 20 oz lol. HOWEVER, I already expect this at most local shops (that are actually good) so I am willing to pay up for some quality coffee and to support local businesses! Stopped by because we were at the newhall library and needed caffeine ordered two cappuccinos and a croissant. The cappuccino was perfect tons of frothy milk and delicious espresso shot. My son loved the croissant ate it in two minutes! Oh also out total was $11! Which is unheard of if I had driven through a Starbucks two cappuccinos and one croissant would set me back way more. The atmosphere was so cute it felt like I was on a date im definitely going back and trying the nutty latte which had biscof cookie butter it's my only regret not getting two drinks lol read more
