I felt very comfortable at all stages of my visit. What's best is he is linked with Stanford Health care, as was my former doctor! So all my info is at their fingertips! I would most definitely recommend him to my friends and family!

Very quiet doctor. Nice and polite. Does not aggressively treat illnesses (he wants testing and…read moremore testing before taking a drastic course, which is good most times, not so good in the cases that go away on their own before the test results come back). I switched to him after my doctor didn't want to see me until I stopped nursing my child (what's it to him?) Anyways, Dr Kaldas listened to my concerns and never put pressure on me. He always tried to accommodate my needs. His first nurse was real good (Filipino lady). She knew the patients name (I mean just look it up in the chart) and she knew what she was doing. The new nurse is not very smart. I ask her for a toxoplasmosis test and she asks: " a what test?" I repeat and she is still clueless. I had to actually explain to her what it is. Then she asked me for the spelling LOL

As a person, Dr. Kaldas is very kind and knowledgeable and I wish that he had not joined Jiva Health because since that transition, the communication in getting through to his office is absolutely frustrating. You will be directed to Jiva Health and will not be able to communicate with Dr. Kaldas' office. I left numerous messages and sent an email with no response from his office (or Jiva Health) regarding a referral that I needed. I have since had to find another primary doctor due to the lack of communication from his office which is a shame. Also, since joining Jiva health, I got the feeling that it is discouraged for doctors to refer their patients to specialist outside the Jiva system (My insurance allows me to go to anyone in their network). I had to repeat multiple times who I wanted to be referred to because they lost all their communication information to other doctors that are not in the Jiva system. I eventually got the referral but he was hesitant to do so.

Dr. Wong was recommended to me by a family member and he has been my doctor, my wife's doctor, and…read moremy son's doctor for many years. He was also my mother's doctor before her passing from cancer. I read some reviews below talking about wait times. I can sympathize with their frustration, but I have never witnessed some of the times mentioned below. I know from experience that doctors don't run late because they are out playing golf. They run late for reasons like: they were responding to a hospital or care facility for a patient emergency or people show up late to their appts in the office which pushes ALL of the office schedule out of alignment for the rest of the day - the only way to recover would be to either cancel appts or he skips lunch for the entire office. I never doubt for a moment that he doesn't have myself or my families needs and concerns at heart. When my mom was in the hospital with a medical emergency, and her assigned doctor wasn't taking her recovery seriously (risking a case of renal failure), I brought in doctor Wong who took over and saved my mom's kidneys and probably her life too. My mom stayed with him as her doctor even after she was diagnosed with cancer that took her in two months. Dr. Wong was always attentive and honest about her outlook. He even called me after hours many times to check on my mom, discuss my mom's health and cancer, and was there for my mom and I when she was passing. He knew she was not a fan of doctors and he tailored his care and responses to try and put her at ease and encourage her continued interaction in her preventative care. He even recommended a fantastic heart doctor for my mom. My interactions with doctor Wong have been the same. He's honest and upfront about medical issues. He refers me to specialists when the need calls for it, and he doesn't just come in and lift my arm and walk out. He thoroughly regards all of my health history to help try and keep my healthy. He even operates two offices - one in Dublin and one in Livermore at the time of this review (I think he had one in Pleasanton that closed). This helps make his services available to multiple areas of the community. I trust doctor Wong and appreciate his care.

Sadly, to put such a negative review on her behave. I was in the doctors office for exactly 2 hours and in her waiting room for 20 to 25 min. and just to be rushed out of there. I never got a physical examination and we talked for a few min about my hand pain that I been having for 8 months. Every time I wanted to talk to her about some other issues I felt like she was in such a hurry. She would just say to me okay I will be right back which meant she was done because all I got was some referrals to see a Orthopedic Surgeon and Neurologist. As a first time patient it would of been nice to introduce her self to me and sit and talk about any concerns I have. I was seen by Dr. Zehra last year and she was very through and was not in a hurry to get me out. Dr. Zehra is no longer practicing for Valley Care, therefore, I had to choose another primary Dr. I will not be coming back to see Dr. Tam
