We called and asked if they service high rise condo buildings as our HVAC unit (fan coil unit) in our suite stopped working. The person on the phone said yes they did, as long as the HVAC system is contained within our unit (which it is). We were told a technician would be here between 10am - 2pm to service our unit, so we cancelled our plans and waited for them. At 1:50pm, we received a phone call saying that they would not be able to service our unit because they do not service high rise condos. Needless to say the wasted day was frustrating - but another night without heat is even more annoying. We called another company (Condo Heating & Cooling) who is able to come within the hour. I will never use Peel Heating & Air Conditioning - absolutely do not recommend to anyone. read more

Bad choice!! Lesson learned. Booked an appointment on a Sunday for a tech to attend 4-8pm on the next Day-Monday Guy shows up at dinner time on the Sunday (same day)in a foul mood like it's my fault he's working Sunday night. Told him I booked it for the next day- didn't help. He Couldn't (or wouldn't) fix the furnace problem (minor switch issue)-Also wouldn't, on request, order the part which i had tried to find at stores...and wouldn't offer suggestions to resolve problem or get part. Quite happy to take my $$ tho Completely useless. Company and employee read more

You wrote a review for Peel Heating & Air 13 minutes ago 2.0 star rating 11/12/2020 I'm disappointed. We are seniors on a fixed income. During the visit from the salesperson we were promised, as part of the deal a rebate on a new furnace, air conditioner and humidifier. (One hundred dollars for every thousand spent) because we were Costco members. We gave our card number and expected Peel to follow through with a rebate. We are now told that the sales person made an error and we are not entitled to this rebate. We were pressured to allow the installation the following day and we agreed to that. The installation was fine and the workers did a fine job but I would not recommend this business for it's deceitful practices. The sales person represents the company and Peel should have come through . read more

Our furnace packed up 2 days ago due to a burnt circuit board. We called peel heating and air conditioning based on google reviews. The diagnostic technician who made the initial assessment was professional and gave an honest evaluation of the situation and made a recommendation to replace the furnace . He called his office on our behalf to set up an appointment with the sales department. A 7pm appointment was offered , so we accepted. Mike was the name of the sales rep that arrived at our door. No business card - which was the first red flag. Mike spent 90 minutes doing his sales pitch ( which he referenced some horrifying anecdotes). He sold us on the organization, the quality of the products offered and the after care . So we wanted to cut to the chase and discuss pricing. Now this is where the whole thing fell apart . He told us he could offer discounts on the packages , but we had To make a decision right away. We asked if we could sleep on it and call the next day . He said no - all offers were off the table if we waited . This sales tactic is utterly appalling . We questioned the reason why and he said it was an incentive for the customer to make a decision right away. this is nothing more than a despicable bully sales tactics . He told us that we wasted his time calling him out to our house at 7pm and that we werent the only customer that needed him. His response was completely unprofessional and totally unacceptable considering that his office offered us the 7pm time slot and we merely accepted. We asked for his managers name and number so we could speak directly to them about the situation . He refused to give it , which is just completely bizarre . I have never seen a person pack their bag so fast and get out . The reason I am writing this review is for other people that are in a similar situation, dont let anyone pressure you into making your decision. Shop around get a couple of quotes and make an educated decision. Dont let any sales rep use fear mongering or bully tactics. If this organization is confident that their product and service is the best in the market - they should stand by their brand and allow customers to make the decision without pressure. We will certainly not be proceeding further. read more

Come on team, $140 just to have someone come to my house. And your offices are 5 minutes drive away? Isnt that taking advantage of someone's misfortune of not having a working air conditioning unit? Be fair with your price please and I will consider using your services. read more

Be very careful with this company. The sales staff for furnace an air conditioners absolutely ripped me off. Then I used SNAP financing an found out the hard way the cost to finance was almost more than the product. Which is not what peel explained in its "sales" job. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I called them for annual service for my furnace. BIG MISTAKE. They sent technician named Justin. He said my furnace CO readings were over the limit and put a red tag on it and turned off gas supply to my furnace. He didnt even bother to troubleshoot the problem and was more interested in selling a new furnace than finding a resolution to the probem. My family and I had to spend night without any heat. My furnace is only 6 years old. He said we need a new furnace and will be more than happy to setup sales visit to talk about new installation. Next day I called two different HVAC companies to check my furnace and both of them said my furnace readings were normal. Both companies walked me through the inspection process and showed me the actual readings on the meter. What wa ssupposed to be simple $49.99 maintenance ended up costing $150 plus slepless night in cold and UNNECESSARY STRESS.This is a serious matter which could have cost me unnecessary expense in thousands of dollars. Company should have oversight of what its employees are upto and if its a training issue than they need to address it. If it's a personal issue than they need to address it. They have lost my trust and I WILL NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN and will tell everone that i know of about my experience witht his company and will advise them to stay away from this company. I normally do not write reviews, but this incident has left me pissed off and I want to make sure that this company is not taking advantage of unsuspecting customers especially older folks. So that's why I decided to write this review. I dont even want to give them 1 star but unfortunately that's the lowest setting on this website otherwise I will give them ZERO star. read more

Called for a repair to outdoor exhaust and was scheduled for several days later - not an emergency so appointment was actually sooner than I expected. Ray quickly accessed the situation and offered a solution that we were happy with. We have used Peel Heating for many years and always been satisfied with the result. read more

DO NOT USE. My experience in the past was this: Came back from vacation in November 2013 to a furnace not working. This company sent over a technician by the name of Steve. Tech said I need a new furnace and a new water heater and that he has to place a warning tag on my water heater as well. I had only called for the furnace, not water heater. Also said they don't make blower motors for my furnace anymore. Said it would cost $5000. I told him I'll get a second opinion. This "sales job" cost about $100. He left a service report which never mentioned any of these things and no "warning tag". I called another company, they charged $300 with installation for a new blower motor, plus another $100 to correct the wiring in the furnace and restart my water heater that was maliciously crossed and shut down by the tech. Called Peel Heating & Air Conditioning in Brampton, but you can guess the rest as here's this review. DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY. read more

Waited over a month for an appointment, had provided them with my full address and suite number, as well as buzz code - only to be told that they don't service condos the day of the appointment, after I had waited the full time for them to show up (and took the afternoon off work.) Shoddy communication - clearly not a trustworthy organization. read more

We have bought and installed Furnace and AC on 19 Dec 2017. The sales person came talked more than nicely. And had promised the benefits to buy from them. And promised about top notch service. So we were agreed . He said renting is the best option, because we will get the benefits of their services. After the installation we are nobody to them. I have couple of questions, I have called them many times, the receptionist does not have answers, instead of answering my questions she started advising me what I should do or should not do. She said technician will come or Dev the sales person will take care, but nobody has showed up till today. read more

Cleaned up and almost left the area cleaner that before. Shaan walked me through the setup and explained every very throughly. Would highly recommend them for future work. System is working great, thanks guys! read more

Misleading pricing structure and Highly overpriced.... $99 for just doing the diagnostics. They do offer coupons to attract the customers, but only with repairs and cost of repair will be easily more than 100% of what the other guys charges. I will not recommend them to anyone looking for bang on their hard earned money. read more

Bought a new A/C and scheduled a 4 hour window for installation. Nobody showed to install unit. I called and found out the rep that sold me the a/c forgot to submit the paper work. O.K., everybody makes mistakes. One year later I called and scheduled my one free service that came with the a/c. Waited for 4 hours and no technician showed or called. No call from the company to apologize and explain. I will not use/recommend for any heating and a/c service in the future. read more

Spent over $40,000 with Peel Heating for a new HVAC system for my home in November 2016. I was promised 4 separate rebates of which I have received 1 to date, more than a year later. Basically, Peel Heating staff neglected to do the proper paperwork and now they will not return my repeated phone calls. They are incompetent and rude and I would never recommend them! read more

Stay far, far away from this company. i have spent over $3000 with this company trying to fix the same problem. Every time they come to assess the problem they charge for the visit, even though they claim that the work they have done previously will fix the problem. The company's name is Service Experts, but they are definitely not experts and most definitely do not provide any kind of service. read more
