Since it was a last minute service request and it was during the holidays, their rate is $195+tax - compared to their normal rate of $95+tax for the initial inspection. This year, 2025, we called them to report it was not working sufficiently: temp is set at 23, but the house registers 24.5 degrees! They want to charge $150 just to come out and inspect the problem. The original unit lasted approximately 20 years without an issue. This new Carrier unit installed by Convertible is just over 4 years old and it's unable to maintain a comfortable temperature of 23. Recent heat waves are a good test of the quality of an air conditioner unit, as well as the reliability of the company you hire when you need a new one. Disappointed in both!

We were given a quote for new AC and furnace. We had several other companies come by to give us an estimate as well. The owner of the company John took the time to take our call on a week night. He walked us through why we should choose them and based on all their previous reviews we felt a lot more secure in getting our ac and furnace from them. They are an established and reputable company and as I said earlier the only one to answer quickly so you know that if anything goes wrong they will be the ones that will show up. They do a pre install survey and let you know if there is anything you need to do. They follow all covid protocols. On the day that they came to do install which was literally a week later (other companies were quoting a month down the line), they had everything installed, with minimum disruption. They finished earlier than the expected day and compared to the old unit they did an amazing job with the new pipes and just how they put it all together. They made sure that everything was taken care of showed us the ins and outs at the end. We had some questions following the install and they were amazing with responding to any concerns we had and always answered so quickly and made you feel like you were a priority. Thoroughly enjoyed working with this company, and at the end of the day the whole process was painless and efficient.
