History
Established in 2001.
I came to California on vacation in the year of 2000. I was then employed as an Electrical supervisor for Raytheon System Engineering; in the country of Micronesia. I fell in love with the weather conditions and the diversity of the people living here,it was amazing.I was already a licensed Electrician in two other states and had been for the past 20 years,so the transformation was fairly easy. I finished my contract with Raytheon and returned in 2001,where I worked here as an electrician for parott mechanical, while studying for the state Exam for Electrical contractors,I passed the first time and officially went into Business, on December 21,2001.The launch pad date for: Peebles Electric Service. I have never had any Doubts or regrets on that decision. I have a passion for my profession and a greater desire to please my clients, and that alone has been my success in such a great and competitive career. Thanks! for all the Support,Gordon Peebles.
Meet the Business Owner: Gordon P.
My full name is Gordon Peebles. My Electrical expereince started at age 8 (eight). I was always curious about the strange science of electricity. My 3rd grade teacher introduced me to a club for kids called the 4H club,it was the introduction of electricity. I studied electricity for 4 years and then worked with the local electrician on week ends for field experience, then later in High school for another 4 years earning a certificate in Electricity. After High School I took a full time job as an electrical apprentice where I learned the skill sets of electrical tools use, installation and applications,Blue print reading and trouble shooting systems. I then took a 2 year course at Sumter area Technical college in: electrical maintenance Technology and State Electrical Exam. earning 2 Journeyman certifications.one in the state of south Carolina and Massachusetts. 3 years later I was excepted into M.I.T. and earned an A.A, degree in Electrical engineering. I am honest, fair, and dedicated.
