We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

The one thing that really bothered me was the fact that there are signs advising that dogs are not allowed inside because of the food licensing regulations and should be outside at the picnic tables. I deadass counted 5 dogs in the bar area in the 2/3 hours my group was there. There was a man with a FRENCHIE sitting at the bar. The dog was in the CHAIR at the BAR. That really annoyed me because if the staff is not following a food safety rule, what else are they cutting corners on? I was sitting at the bar earlier, I don't want to sit on dirty dog feet/butt on the chair.

The inside is dark and interesting and I really liked how the bar was set up, with all the various beers named on bright signs. We chose a high top and found we had to pull-up the beer menu on our phones. That is not my favorite way to look at a menu, especially when there is such a large variety. The beer choices were great and you can even do flights. I LOVE that they do a half pour because you can then try different types. I had the red beer, whose name I can't remember and it was good. The menu has a great selection but I chose poorly. I ordered the Chicago Bear and it was just chuck full of bland roast beef. I couldn't taste the cheese and the onions and peppers were bland as well. Huge disappointment. In fact, 3 out of 4 of us didn't enjoy the food, but we all liked the beer. Service was very good. Every time we've come in here bartenders are always more than happy to chitchat with you. Share stories of the beer how it was crafted and brewed and we find most of the people who are in here are also really friendly as well. Because it is located on one of the main drags in Saint Pete - parking can be a challenge. They do have parking behind the building. It is incredibly limited and sometimes especially towards the evenings, finding parking in the street can be hard as well. I had their dry Irish cider and really enjoyed it. It definitely is on the dry side, but it was good. I did try their strawberry dry cider. It wasn't bad but when I think of strawberry cider, I want to taste the strawberry and I found that it was just a little bit light for my pallet. My husband really enjoyed the Al Czervik. It's a nice, toasty Czech dark lager.
