Our home away from home brewery. There's something really nice k owing its family own and the owner is almost always here. Really great selection of beers and since they are a micro brewery it's always changing. They do an amazing Baltic Porter that just won Gold. Don't be put off by the location the beers are more than worth it. And if Rocky's Brick Oven pizza is there then it's a major bonus!

Just love this place! Bartender was so nice!! Gave us some samples to try. They make really excellent beer here! We had the Dopplebock, the Double IPA and the Black IPA. All were delicious. Nice relaxing place to chat and enjoy some good brews. They had a ping pong and a foosball table.

Four of us stopped in to enjoy Rapp's delicious craft beer. As IPA folks, we were definitely delighted at the wide selection. Of course, there were many other beers too. The staff was attentive and eager to discuss the beers and to offer samples. Although they were busy, we were able to get a table. Rocky's food truck was there and we ordered a delicious pizza complete with fresh basil scattered generously over the top. My second beer was their Oktoberfest and it hit the spot. Always a nice brewery to spend time. Ample free on-site parking.

Nice location, great variety with emphasis on the higher gravity beers. Had a hard time picking just 4!

My husband and I love going to Rapp Brewing when we are visiting the St. Petersburg area. They always have a great selection of beers to choose from. My usual order is their Hefeweizen, which I love, and I give Rapp the credit for this obsession of mine now several years ago. This time though, I was drawn to the smooth Blueberry Donut Stout. My husband had the Dunkleweizen, which he enjoyed as well. Friendly service and a relaxing atmosphere make this a great brewery. Make sure you get a punch card while you are there! You'll get your 11th beer free!

Huge amount of beers on top! Candy was very kind and allowing me to try a couple of different beers that I may like. My husband was very happy with his flight and she was more than happy to allow you to sample. There is plenty of seating outside and it is all covered, sort of the warehouse feel. They have a wood fire pizza truck outside that you can have if you are hungry. I had the apple pie cider which tasted just like an apple pie! It was yummy! I wish they had some type of a pumpkin cider, but I will be on the lookout for that one!

Rapp brewing has been one of the staples for the craft beer scene in Tampa bay for years. They have an indoor tasting room with a small bar, outdoor covered and outdoor open space. Decorated with flags of countries. They have so many different styles of beer available. They offer flights up to 9 beers. Decided to share and check out 9 different beers, from sours to heavy IPAs and imperial stout. All had good flavor, my favorite was the Chocolate bourbon caramel imperial pastry stout at 8.1%. Well balanced and delicious. They are open Tuesday 3-9PM, Wednesday and Thursday 3-10PM, Friday 3-11PM, Saturday 2-11PM and Sunday 1-8PM. Beertender was very friendly and knowledgeable about the beers and gave great recommendations. They also have food trucks on the weekends. They had "Asian mix" when we were there and the food was outstanding. There's parking available in a large parking lot out front.

    The Garage area: Dog friendly

I came here on a Tuesday around 5:30pm. Happy hour anywhere in the world. They have bar seating which seat 3 and an inside seating area with several tables. There is also an adjacent garage area that is covered and dog friendly. The dog had to remain close to me and seated but either way he was allowed with me. They had 2 Options for IPA's and for anyone that follows me knows that's my choice! They had a Black IPA and a double IPA I tasted both and must say that each was delicious. There were 5 people around the bar and the noise level was still super quite. The outside Garage area has its own entrance and does not connect directly to the brewery. You walk in grab a beer, walk out and sit in the garage area. ( This is for dog owners only) There was not food truck on this specific day, which bummed me out. If you come here your coming for beer and I must say it's a 10/10 for the beer.

Rapp was another add-on to my burgeoning brew tour of St. Petersburg that became Tampa-St. Petersburg and the surrounding areas. When I discovered they were hosting a bacon and beer event the weekend I was going to be in town, I responded with "What city? And how do we get there?" Surprisingly, Rapp is not much of a drive from Downtown St. Petersburg where we were staying. Nestled in Seminole in between the former and Clearwater, the brewery may call itself nano-sized but they produce a ton of beer -- with 40 alone on tap (all made in-house). These guys don't mess around. They are passionate about their ales and lagers, with a strong emphasis on German traditions of beer-making, while approaching with a 21st century nuance and free spiritness. The brewery, like many I know in South Florida, is located in a nondescript industrial park within a sizable warehouse. Along with the production facility, there is a small taproom and a vast garage area that allows for plenty of people to come enjoy beers, hangout, and play various games such as Foosball and ping-pong. The vibes are very German-inspired with flags and other trinkets and knickknacks. This makes sense when you discover the owner has German heritage with his great grandfather having run a brewery in his lifetime. Being I was there to try bacon-inspired beers, my flight preference went in that direction. The results were hit-or-miss as most bacon-inspired beers have been regardless of the brewery. But I did like Rapp's ability to take chances such as with their Bacon Lichtenhainer, despite not quite liking how the smokiness of the bacon went against the citrusy sourness. While aforementioned was not up my alley, the Campfire S'mores Stout, along with the Maple Bacon Milk Stout and Chocolate Bacon Stout were much better. The latter had a nice chocolate-like roastiness, as well as the Maple Bacon Stout that also had a hint of bacon on the back-end. The Campfire S'mores was my favorite, tasting like s'mores between the marshmallows, chocolate, and a hint of graham crackers. I'll have to return when I'm back in the area as there's so many beers I didn't have a chance to try. They are certainly worth a second visit.

A small brewery space with a ton of beer options! This is a favorite for Ben and I can see why! Always something new to try and usually have plenty of options that I would like (more of a sour or cider girl). Always friendly service as well.

The restaurant is located behind the German club on 66th Street, a second business in the German club parking lot! Apparently, the family that has his place is from Maine and they got a lot of success brewing beer. That's success led them to start the restaurant serving seafood from a family business in Maine. We started off with a bowl of New England clam chowder and a dozen oysters. To what are whistles we got a glass of their tap Chardonnay and a beer. My wife's Chardonnay was ridiculously good! But nothing could beat those oysters - sweet with a little bit of brine, and very fresh. For dinner we got a lobster roll - they come hot or cold, with the hot coming with melted butter. We also got the fried haddock roll.... Wow! Both were fantastic! I know we overdid it with dinner.... We even got an order of the whole belly clams. I didn't think anyone in Florida served those down here! Absolutely ridiculous . In short, we had fantastic dinner and terrific beverages. I really recommend you at least try to find the place - we almost didn't go in because of its awkward location and the fact that no cars were outside. We saw the place was open and decided to have a appetizer because the Yelp review was so strong, and I'm glad we did! We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

It is a large, open space with a great stage, a solid dance floor, and plenty of room to spread out. The drink selection is also strong, so it is an easy place to hang out for a while. That said, there are a couple areas that could really use improvement. The biggest issue is the bathroom situation. Even with all the space, there are only two stalls and a couple of porta potties, which leads to long lines that can take over a huge part of the venue during busy times. It gets pretty chaotic. The food is another weak point. It is very basic and a bit underwhelming. Think overcooked beef or chicken tacos with generic chips and salsa. It gets the job done, but it definitely does not match the overall vibe of the place. If they put a little more effort into the bathrooms and food, this spot would be on another level.
