There are board games, a foosball table, and even video games (N64 and a mini NES). My wife and I had fun playing Mario Kart 64 together. It's not typical bar service, as you must return to the register for each drink or food item you want. Regardless, it worked efficiently with a light crowd. The food is very good. They have a food truck permanently stationed on property. We ordered the Balsamic Chicken Pita. The balsamic was intense as the pulled chicken seemed marinated in it but it was great. It was nice to try something new. The beers are average to above average compared to other breweries. We stopped in this past Sunday for a couple of brews. Mastry's is very comfortable and always clean. Although busy, the bartender Scott greeted us immediately. They are dog friendly so Diesel had fun with his people. We' enjoyed the Day Trip, (Belgium Triple) and the Gulf Coast Wanderer (Double West Coast IPA). Featured cocktails have been added (see menu) and there is a nice selection of brews. Their food truck has a nice selection of deliciousness although we didn't eat this time. Food truck is okay I got the smash burger sliders, they were a little greasy and the cheesy was too gooey. I did taste the BLAT sliders and there's were much tastier I would recommend those. What a cool little spot in St Pete Beach! Seating is mostly outdoors but plentiful. They do have a small dedicated parking lot as well. The bartender was so sweet and helpful while I was deciding what to drink. They have a variety of beers to choose from as well as cocktails and cider for the non beer drinkers. I also ordered the hummus plate from the food truck and I was quite surprised by the quality of food at a brewery food truck, it was delicious! Limited indoor space and comfortable outdoor patio with live music some nights -- the night I visited there was some folk music and a sax player, honestly a refreshing change from the Jimmy Buffet covers that float through most of the beach and barrier island bars around here. Check in on your "Visit SPC" app for a discount or free drink with purchase of an entree. The food is fun -- served from a permanent truck in their curated outdoor space. They occasionally barrel age some of their beers, but unfortunately, I didn't get to try any this time. I tried a flight. Also a selection of local liquor. $1 Wednesday wings and taco Tuesdays seem very interesting. The waitress was very knowledgeable surrounding the beer. 2 bars with Sega and Nintendo video games. We did not order any food, but we watched as food was being delivered to the tables around us. It did seem that there was a little issue with the kitchen getting orders out correctly. We've given Mastrys multiple chances because of how close it is to us, but every time it disappoints. The last three times in particular have been bad enough to swear it off for good. Something is always wrong. One time they were out of 50% of their beers and all chicken in the kitchen. The next time they had beer on tap, but the taps were nothing but foam (that they let settle until it roughly filled the glass and still charged us for). This final time we walked up at 8:59 and ordered beer, which was poured, only to be told the kitchen closed at 9:00 and we could not order dinner. 7 people in front of us had been served without issue, but we were somehow the only ones not to be allowed dinner. Only 2 of us and no line behind us but they chose to refuse us. Kept trying to like it but something is always wrong. Costs too much for a subpar experience. read more

Fun brewery in the middle of town. I believe they have about 17 beers on tap and the beers we tried were very solid, not outstanding but very good. The bartender was nice and knowledgeable about the beers. They had a movie playing on the movie screen in the courtyard and a food truck. Definitely worth checking out! read more

This brewery was a lot of fun. It was super convenient to us as we stayed at a rental down the alley from here. There is a little pizza by the slice place across the street too! They also have food trucks on peak times right out front. They had a nice variety of beers/ sours/ seltzers to appeal to almost everyone that ventured in. It was a hot night and they had a band. This place transformed into an open air bar. The layout is a little awkward around the bar and towards the bathroom. Not much airflow. I enjoyed the "Just Like Old Times" which was an orange creamsicle style sour. It was on tap. Some items were not on tap or from them but you could get in cans if desired. It was too hot for hops for me! My mother got the Park Street Pils and said it was nice and drinkable. Overall this brewery was quaint and fun. Cool place right off St. Pete Beach. They converted a family owned restaurant, expanded it and made the brewery they have today. They have an inside area and outside shaded area. Plenty of space to enjoy the outside. My only complaint is that there really wasn't any where to get too cool because it's all open and when it's not summer I'm sure that's an awesome feature. They have a small parking lot but there's parking available on the streets around. I think they have some of the best merchandise available, I loved their shirts. I had the Pais Tropical IPA - New England / Hazy. It was pretty good. Would have wanted it a little hazier. My friend had the Boca Ciega Bay IPA. One great thing about this brewery is they serve food from their permanent onsite kitchen food truck. Any brewery that serves food is fine by me. Very often while drinking beer you get hungry and to have the great food available right onsite is perfect. They also serve craft ciders, hard seltzer, wine, soda and cold brew coffee. They offer Monday hospitality night, teachers night Tuesdays and Trivia night Thursdays. They are open Monday to Thursday noon to 10 pm, Fri and Saturday noon to 11 pm and Sunday noon to 8 pm. read more

My fiance and I had some time between visiting the Dali Museum and having dinner, so we decided to check out a local brewery not far from our hotel in St. Pete Beach called Mastry's. Located in what must have been a gas station or auto shop previously, Mastry's has a very laid-back charm that goes with the area's whole beach vibe. Mastry's possesses a variety of different seating -- based on your preference. If you want to sit inside at one of the bar counters -- the main taproom or the production room where you have a prime view of the fermentation tanks, there's plenty of spots, as well as a game console for playing video games should you be inclined. There's plenty of outdoor lounge seating whether you want covered seating under the canopy or in the more Polynesian lounge part with grass matting. Additionally, they have a food truck on-site regularly where you grab some grub while you enjoy a pint. The Skin on Fried Pork with Mojo Sauce and tostones was quite good as I enjoyed some fruited beers and milkshake IPAs. Beer-wise, Mastry's produces some solid beers. Their Summer Skakcation Milkshake IPA was a little hoppy, a little creamy, a citrusy, predominantly with pineapple made for a decent pour. Their Simply Beery Sistable Sour was light and refreshing, with a nice array of mixed berries and a hint of vanilla. Their beers' tastiness matches the down-earth vibes of their staff and the clientele that patronize their brewery. Today was it's four year anniversary! We had no clue, but we ended up going in there due to the amazing reviews. They had Tons of different beers on tap that you can try and they also had a pumpkin caramel slushy that I had! They have very nice concept with their kitchen being that we tried. Mastry's has very creative brewmasters. All the beers are interesting, especially the barrel-aged ones. They have some interesting Belgian-style beers as well as other types of ales. They do interesting things with sourness & even have Brettanomyces in some recipes. They have (hard) ciders too. The IPA's could be hoppier & the Pale Ale was a little thin-bodied, but overall the beers are outstanding. They have a permanent food trunk parked in their front yard... and the food is outstanding! The food menu is as creative as the beers: Caribbean Ceviche, Cuban Sandwiches, Empanadas, Steak Kabobs, interesting Sliders, & more, when we were there in December 2022, but the menu changes every now & then. Mastry's has seating for a dozen or so indoors and maybe two dozen more outside, under canopies & umbrellas, so you can sit outside even when it's very sunny or raining. It's the most welcoming outdoor seating of any brewpub we've been to - I wish our back yard was as nice. read more
