Well --it's a bar --it's loud --it's by the beach -and so it's great. Had coconut shrimp which was tasty and a burger (suggest ordering a double if you like want a quarter pound size) and then a pretzel. The food was all solid with the burger lack of taste complimented with really good tator tots. --fun place and service was good

Super cool place located upstairs at John's Pass with some original dishes and plenty of beer! Service was on point with orders being cooked and delivered to our table quickly. They have plenty of games and stuff for kids to do while they wait which was an excellent addition for us. The booth we were seated at actually had its own TV and PlayStation for the kids to play or just a few steps away were pinball machines, cornhole boards, and small arcade area. Maybe this was encouragement for the kids to eat good because they devoured their dinner...and returned to playing! Food is sorta traditional bar type food but it's crafted their way and must say, each creation was really good. The pretzel is HUGE and went MIA before I could get a picture. It's served with beer cheese and spicy mustard, both of which pair excellent with a fresh pretzel. If you're in the area, give Mad Beach Brewing a try, I certainly will when I'm back!

We love this brewery. This is a large place for adults and children. They have games for kids. They have good food. But most of all beer. You can get flights up to 28 glasses. We love the different beers. From , I yam what I yam , dolphin drool , to an IPA Madeira Vice. Nice place to relax and have a pint. The place is decorated nice and clean bathrooms. Service is always friendly and very helpful with samples.

Brian is the ABSOLUTE BEST!!! The "I yam what I yam" is the BEST beer on tap.. with so many others to choose from! Such a great atmosphere & vibe ( the bar is the best! ) Come check it out!

First, I am so thankful to have had a server, and not have to scan a QR from my phone and order that way. Our server was great. I wish I could remember her name, I want to say her name was Savannah, but not certain. Food and drinks were excellent. I can't believe their drink selection, spectacular! Ambiance was great too. My husband and I collect brewery swag and was happy to find a cool metal Mad Beach sign and shirt! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience on our family vacation! Highly recommended!

Such a fun brewery! On the second floor in St Johns Pass area, very family friendly pirate themed brewery and kitchen. We were just stopping in for drinks so we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful! She suggested a flight for my first time, which includes your choice of 6 beers. I tried 6 different styles and everything was quite good. Can't wait to come back for food and to try the rest of the tap list!

Floating through Florida you quickly find out that, Florida has a ton of really great craft beer breweries. Mad Beach definitely is one of the best.. when you had John's pass, he definitely wanna stop in for a great mug of icy cold beverages. An amazing selection something for everyone., oh and don't forget they have indoor cornhole set up as well. I also consider myself a burger snob in this place definitely impressed. If you leave here hungry and thirsty that's your own fault. May I left my belly full and thoughts of my next time here.

3.4 --- not terrible but not memorable our server was Emily she did her job well- she was friendly and accommodating she definitely got her steps in... We a double "smash" burger with bacon and cheese and the chicken pesto club! With regular tots and beer, cheese tots, the winner was definitely the chicken pesto club and the beer tots. The chicken was succulent and juicy, and the herb roasted tomatoes mixed with the pesto made for a flavor packed and delicious combo! Burger was disappointing. I wasn't asked how I wanted it cooked and you sounded need yo be with a smash burger. But what I got wasn't a Smashburger it was a burger that had been and relieved of all its juice. My burger came out grey almost all the way through a little dry and was still somehow oily. Could've used a sauce or smashed. I think Smashburger is just a trendy item to have your menu regardless of if you actually adhere to the smashing component. Now the beers, they do have a wide range of German style beers, a lot more stout and darker beers than I would have expected. And they were pretty good. I'm not a dark beer drinker. I don't prefer stouts I definitely prefer the high ABV crisp hoppyness of an IPA with light fruit or citrus notes so settle on Madeira vice. A solid IPA for sure The vibe of this place is definitely more tourist attraction than local gem or your standard pub. They have old game consoles at some of the tables and there is a mini arcade in the back and a full-size bus around the kitchen. Plastic silver ware and paper towels. It's bar food so maybe I'm being too critical... but it definitely feels like they know the food is sup par and they are trying to compensate. Overall not my kinda place don't I think I'll be returning.

Yummy and Fresh! This place really surprise me upon walking in it. I didn't really know what to expect but I got the crab dip that was excellent. And I also got a seafood boil. When I tell you all the seafood there was so fresh. The crab legs are fresh. They snapped when you broke them open. The flavor was good. It wasn't overbearing. The beer was amazing. The staff is really cool. I love this place and I will return. The restaurant is really big. It almost looks like a super big food truck inside which is pretty cool too. Keep up the good work.

This is the second time I've visited the Mad Beach Craft Brewing establishment and it was excellent!!! We solely came for the burger they offered in the Madeira Beach Burger Week contest and it definitely was an amazing burger!!!! Our bartender/server was excellent and very friendly to talk to!! We added tater tots to our burgers which was a great addition!! Also, ordered the I Yam What I Yam (Spiced American Strong Ale) and it also had great flavor with a nice finish for a craft beer!! The artistic aspect of the bar is pretty cool to look at while visiting and they also have great lighting!! Hats off to the awesome job by the cooks for mouth watering food for a great value!!! Definitely recommend this place for their hospitality, wide selection of menu options and their reasonable pricing at a beach restaurant!!! Keep up the great work and looking forward to visiting again sooner than later!!!

Totchos and Maibock- good pairing, in my opinion
    Carrie F.

Good food! The whole family could enjoy their time- not too loud, games for free and pay-to-play for the kids, and a variety of sports airing on the TVs all around! Maibock was very tasty, Altbier was nice and dark, and the watermelons sangria was like a liquid Jolly Rancher with half the sweetness! The men in our group both got the Cheese and Chong monster smashburger- it was a lot but so good; kids all got burgers and tots; I had the Totchos- beer cheese, chili, infused sour cream, and crispy tots; and we got a couple of orders She Crab dip- big chunks of crab, but the crostini not so crisp- more like chopped burger buns. Our service was with a smile- we have a few allergies at our table and we were well cared for during our visit! A nice friends-dinner in John's Pass on a Friday night! We'd be happy to do it all over again!

1lb shrimp and crab low country boil
    Christina S.

Hip little spot in John's pass. Great beer selection (something for everyone!) we had a delicious blueberry wheat and a summer shandy. Forgot to take pictures of the beer. Our waitress, i think her name was Emma, was fantastic very efficient and friendly! We had the pretzel appetizer. Ours came out on a paper plate not the hanging hook so the presentation was not as "pretty" but it's a standard pretzel with cheese and mustard but jumbo sized. Then we had the wedge salad which was delicious! Followed by the low country boil: crab and shrimp. It was all fantastic except the corn (little overdone and dry) but the crab and shrimp were perfect. And my husband had the Cheese and Chong Burger (a burger between grilled cheese) ; He wasn't a fan of the seasoning. Overall, the restaurant is really cute. They have flights of beer, lots of games to play (cornhole, arcade games) and the kitchen is situated behind a bus that's inside the restaurant. Neat atmosphere, but I probably wouldn't go back for dinner (unless I was in mood for mow country boil and wedge salad). I would definitely recommend stopping in for a drink to check out the place and to just hang out, as it has a cool vibe for sure!

We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

It is a large, open space with a great stage, a solid dance floor, and plenty of room to spread out. The drink selection is also strong, so it is an easy place to hang out for a while. That said, there are a couple areas that could really use improvement. The biggest issue is the bathroom situation. Even with all the space, there are only two stalls and a couple of porta potties, which leads to long lines that can take over a huge part of the venue during busy times. It gets pretty chaotic. The food is another weak point. It is very basic and a bit underwhelming. Think overcooked beef or chicken tacos with generic chips and salsa. It gets the job done, but it definitely does not match the overall vibe of the place. If they put a little more effort into the bathrooms and food, this spot would be on another level.

The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! Orders perfectly taken, he was polite yet had some fun and laughs with us, and was very patient when a couple people in our group were "picky" eaters. While he had several tables he was serving he was always right there if he noticed our waters or drinks being close to empty. Food will make people talk, but food and service will bring people back. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best in town. I'll admit, we were hungry and I forgot pictures of the actual food... the desserts (S'Mores Brownie Sundae and the Key Like Pie) were also amazing.
