6 5-oz beer flight, yes please!
    Kara H.

Delicious beer with a unique menu of ciders, IPAs, stouts, sours - including sweet potato beer with a spiced sugar rim. The food was super tasty with a wide variety on the menu. Lots of fun games for kids and adults. Seating for large parties too. It was crowded and they shared that it would be a longer wait. None the less, the service was still very good. We had a seafood boil, gator tail, sweet/spicy pulled pork sandwich and of course the jelly donut burger. All exceeded expectations.

We have not eaten here but love the beer! Our favorite it the doppelgänger but they didn't have any so we tried some new ones. We had the peanut butter stout. So rich and really tastes like a peanut butter cup! I had the hot honey mead. So spicy and delicious. We love playing some pinball when we come!

Food was delicious and came out fast. I had the grilled chicken pesto sandwich and half side wedge salad. Great flavor. Friendly staff. My nephew had the donut burger also good. Large amount of seating. Good for those that love breweries.

This was such a fun dinner! Our favorites on the platter were the coconut shrimp (by far!), and the delicious corn on the cob. Everything else tasted good, although we weren't bit fans of the dip. The beers came out great as well--we both loved the flavors we chose. Service was nice and pretty quick being here on a week night. Would recommend coming into this spot for a beer or dinner! If I came again I would get just the coconut shrimp meal!

Well --it's a bar --it's loud --it's by the beach -and so it's great. Had coconut shrimp which was tasty and a burger (suggest ordering a double if you like want a quarter pound size) and then a pretzel. The food was all solid with the burger lack of taste complimented with really good tator tots. --fun place and service was good

Super cool place located upstairs at John's Pass with some original dishes and plenty of beer! Service was on point with orders being cooked and delivered to our table quickly. They have plenty of games and stuff for kids to do while they wait which was an excellent addition for us. The booth we were seated at actually had its own TV and PlayStation for the kids to play or just a few steps away were pinball machines, cornhole boards, and small arcade area. Maybe this was encouragement for the kids to eat good because they devoured their dinner...and returned to playing! Food is sorta traditional bar type food but it's crafted their way and must say, each creation was really good. The pretzel is HUGE and went MIA before I could get a picture. It's served with beer cheese and spicy mustard, both of which pair excellent with a fresh pretzel. If you're in the area, give Mad Beach Brewing a try, I certainly will when I'm back!

We love this brewery. This is a large place for adults and children. They have games for kids. They have good food. But most of all beer. You can get flights up to 28 glasses. We love the different beers. From , I yam what I yam , dolphin drool , to an IPA Madeira Vice. Nice place to relax and have a pint. The place is decorated nice and clean bathrooms. Service is always friendly and very helpful with samples.

First, I am so thankful to have had a server, and not have to scan a QR from my phone and order that way. Our server was great. I wish I could remember her name, I want to say her name was Savannah, but not certain. Food and drinks were excellent. I can't believe their drink selection, spectacular! Ambiance was great too. My husband and I collect brewery swag and was happy to find a cool metal Mad Beach sign and shirt! Thank you very much for the wonderful experience on our family vacation! Highly recommended!

Such a fun brewery! On the second floor in St Johns Pass area, very family friendly pirate themed brewery and kitchen. We were just stopping in for drinks so we sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly and helpful! She suggested a flight for my first time, which includes your choice of 6 beers. I tried 6 different styles and everything was quite good. Can't wait to come back for food and to try the rest of the tap list!

Floating through Florida you quickly find out that, Florida has a ton of really great craft beer breweries. Mad Beach definitely is one of the best.. when you had John's pass, he definitely wanna stop in for a great mug of icy cold beverages. An amazing selection something for everyone., oh and don't forget they have indoor cornhole set up as well. I also consider myself a burger snob in this place definitely impressed. If you leave here hungry and thirsty that's your own fault. May I left my belly full and thoughts of my next time here.

We chose to sit in the inside bar because there was air-conditioning. The warehouse area gets a little hot and stuffy, but on nice nights or on cooler days they have tons of outdoor seating as well. We both tried their barrel aged to vanilla Porter. It it was very good, but we both did not want something that heavy to drink. My husband ended up switching to the Marzen which was their Oktoberfest beer. I enjoyed a glass of the chocolate strawberry stout, which is just as delicious as it sounds! Because it is heavy, I could only do one glass and then switched and got a flight of cider and seltzers. I was able to try the pineapple, dole whip vodka soda, which was very tasty. I also tried their rosé cider as well as their dry Irish cider, and their apple strudel cider. All of them were delicious and their rosé cider is probably one of the first that actually tasted like rosé. We also decided to get a little flatbread pizza to snack on. It definitely is small think of a child's size pizza but the flavor was good.

I had the mini hot dogs from the kids menu and I really enjoyed the white cheese to dip them into. I really enjoyed the live music and there are board games. Staff were polite, helpful, and kind. The one thing that really bothered me was the fact that there are signs advising that dogs are not allowed inside because of the food licensing regulations and should be outside at the picnic tables. I deadass counted 5 dogs in the bar area in the 2/3 hours my group was there. There was a man with a FRENCHIE sitting at the bar. The dog was in the CHAIR at the BAR. That really annoyed me because if the staff is not following a food safety rule, what else are they cutting corners on? I was sitting at the bar earlier, I don't want to sit on dirty dog feet/butt on the chair.

We came here one night for drinks and after seeing the menu knew we had to come back for a meal. The food looked so amazing and it was very hard to choose which option to go with. For the app we had the crab Rangoon dip and the Midwesterner in me was missing my cheese so we also had the Wisconsin cheese curds. The cheese curds were pretty classic and the Parmesan cheese on top added a nice twist. The crab dip... I'm drooling just thinking about it. If you like crab you need to get that app. For the meal, I had the Surf and Turf with coconut shrimp. Sweet Mary was I glad I did. The steak was cooked to absolute perfection and the coconut shrimp with spicy Thai sauce was so good. The shrimp had the perfect crunch while the shrimp themselves were tender. They also have a wide variety of drinks and beers which was nice to try some new things. I do also want to do a shout out to Robert who was our waiter. He was phenomenal! Orders perfectly taken, he was polite yet had some fun and laughs with us, and was very patient when a couple people in our group were "picky" eaters. While he had several tables he was serving he was always right there if he noticed our waters or drinks being close to empty. Food will make people talk, but food and service will bring people back. The food was top notch and the service was some of the best in town. I'll admit, we were hungry and I forgot pictures of the actual food... the desserts (S'Mores Brownie Sundae and the Key Like Pie) were also amazing.

There was a section with some toys to entertain kids which was a nice touch! Service was good and it wasn't super busy when we got there as it was after the lunch rush. Our table ordered a lot of different dishes. We got the bang bang shrimp, which was delicious and probably the highlight of the meal. I got a lobster roll with fries for my entree and it was okay. There was a ton of lettuce on it, which I was not a fan of and the bun split very easily. I ended up just eating the lobster straight off the plate. Definitely not worth the price in my opinion. I'd go with something else. My girlfriend got the Lobster Alfredo and it was not good. The pasta was super doughy and overcooked. The Alfredo sauce itself didn't have a lot flavor either. The whole thing was just not good and once again not worth the price. Our niece got butter noodles and they were the same way. Overcooked and tasted like they'd been sitting in water or something. She didn't eat it. I would skip the pasta entrees. The other item we were disappointed with was the Crab Rangoon dip. It had a fishy tang to it that we weren't a fan of. Someone in our group got the tacos for taco Tuesday and said they were good. Chicken tenders were also yummy. Overall, we had an okay experience. If we came back, we'd go with different items on the menu for sure.

They have tons of outdoor space and play areas for your kids and your pets. they also have a large outdoor seating area that is covered. Their indoor seating is what is actually limited. One of the reasons we ended up back over here was because one of the bartenders that one of the other breweries had said if you're looking for good food and beer, you need to go to cage out of all of the breweries that we spend a lot of time in in the Saint Pete and treasure Island area. Cage has the largest man selection by far. They offer everything from pizza to wings to items for your dogs to enjoy. I chose the Panini with meatballs and it was really good and I really liked the anti pasta salad that it went with it. My husband got the wings with the garlic Parmesan sauce on the side. He said they were good. He just would've liked a little bit more in the order. The beer is also really good here. My husband chose their standard core, the octopus. It is similar with an amber, but not quite to the depth of it, but has a really nice finish. I chose their peanut butter Porter, which is by far one of the best, and when it comes to the flavor of peanut butter. It is my absolute favorite. Central Avenue parking turned into a 20‑minute treasure hunt, circling the same blocks like I was waiting for a miracle spot to appear. When I finally made it inside, I had to thread myself through two drink lines stacked across the entrance. It felt less like a brewery and more like a fairground, people zig‑zagging for their next pour while I tried not to bump into anyone. Out back, the patio glowed under the damp evening air. The band was supposed to start at 7:30, so I grabbed a seat and ordered smoked wings. They arrived warm and flavorless, like they'd been sitting under a heat lamp waiting for someone anyone to claim them. I had to add salt and pepper just to wake them up. The server disappeared until check time, but not before I asked for extra napkins. He brought them, thankfully, but other tables weren't so lucky. People were politely excusing themselves to take from our stack because theirs never showed. By 8:05, instead of Gypsy Edge, a CCR cover band called Ultimate Clearwater Revival stepped up. The singer read lyrics off a sheet, and the whole performance felt more like a high‑school garage band warming up than a tribute act. He proudly announced he was the "opening act" something the event never mentioned. An opening act for a single singer? News to all of us. The night had just rained, leaving the air moist and heavy. Cage Brewing is dog‑friendly, which is great until a breeze picked up and carried a strong pee smell straight across the patio. I was eating my last wing when it hit, and my stomach immediately waved the white flag. By the time 9 PM rolled around, Gypsy Edge still hadn't taken the stage, my stomach was protesting, and the smell lingered like an unwanted guest. I left without seeing the band I came for, shaking my head at the whole experience. Verdict: Food: forgettable Atmosphere: chaotic Event_listing: misleading Sometimes the story you walk into isn't the one you hoped for but it definitely becomes one you won't forget.
