This review is for the Carnitas burrito combo plate with rice and beans with iced tea . The carnitas were overcooked, chewy, and dry. The rice was dry and maybe a little undercooked, as the rice wasn't tender. The beans were okay but not enough to redeem this combo. The Iced tea was refreshing and I would return for that due to the convenient location of this taco stop. read more

Used to be my go to place to eat! My family and I love(d) so many items here! However, recently the carne asada fries were so gross I just threw the entire thing away (so sad, such a waste of food). Then my sister and I ordered lunch and her fish taco was super chewy - similar to that of a chicken tenderloin....I ordered a fried chicken burrito which is normally piping hot. It was cold; but not just the sauce. The actual chicken was cold...almost as if someone ordered it then changed their mind so it was kept in the fridge? This led us to return for a refund and the gentleman was very annoyed....unfortunately this left a bad taste in our mouth so we probably won't be eating here anymore :( read more

The flavors here are awesome and the prices are right. I got an egg, cheese, and bean burrito and added some hash browns. The only thing I would improve would be maybe some crispier hash browns. But the flavor was definitely good. My wife got a shrimp burrito and some friends got a fried chicken burrito. I will warn that their burritos that contain slaw or cabbage seem to be swimming in liquid. Watch out for your clothing! The flavors were worth the mess, though. The guac and chips were acceptable, but not noteworthy. The guac could have used a bit more seasoning. The portion of guac was also quite small in comparison to the huge bag of chips that it came with. The chips were fresh fried, but were not salted it seems. Would probably recommend a pass on the guac and chips. Parking in the rear. Not too many spots, but the restaurant is pretty tiny too. Be prepared to be a bit cramped parking and sitting! read more

The food here is really good. The Carne Asada is tender and yummy. The green salsa is really good, not spicy. The red salsa is super spicy! This is the best Mexican food I have had in Fallbrook. The prices are also very fair. You can't go wrong either the taste and price!! Happy eating!! read more

My wife and I were in Fallbrook for the day, and around noon decided to look for some lunch. We saw Pedro's on Main Street and it had a unique look to it, so we thought we'd give it a try. My wife got a fresh fish taco, and I got the chicken fajitas burrito. I'm told the fish taco was very ample tasty, but as for my burrito, I was blown away at how good it was! It was just the right size, and the balance of meat to sauce and fillings was perfect. I don't know what the green sauce was made with, it looked like tomatillos and/or avocados, but it was soooooo good, and the prices were right on target as well. They have tables in front with ample shade, so it was a a perfect outdoor meal, and a special thanks to the people inside who prepared it, we'll no doubt be back for more! read more

The food was fine but me and my family ordered 5 burritos and 4 of them had rocks in it. And it also took an hour to make our food.

We have always enjoyed the chorizo breakfast burritos, until today at Pedro's Fallbrook. My boyfriend ordered one for us to share. We cut in half and we were unpleasantly surprised to fine breakfast sausage, instead of chorizo. I only ate half it I could not finish it. Before we left, I went to the window calmly told the man. "there was no chorizo in the burrito and that there was breakfast sausage. He said it was ordered with breakfast sausage, It was confirmed that the breakfast burrito was ordered with chorizo. Breakfast sausage is not even on the menu!! If this a new thing where they are trying to pass off breakfast sausage for chorizo we will never go back again! The nicest employees and cleanest fast-food establishment I have seen in a very long time. I think In & Out takes cleaning tips from Pedro's. Taco Tuesday has great savings. I ordered a shrimp taco and added a 2nd taco with my drink it was 50% off. I called in my order because I happened to be at Ace hardware. I saw the popularity watching the drive thru line never slowing down. I went to the walk up window. They had my order just made. 2 fresh shrimp tacos, mix up burrito and carne asada burrito for hubby. Homemade salsa is a must the red super spicy and green salsa was mild. Pedro Fallbrook has lowered their price to around 11.75. More reasonable but in my opinion still should not be above $10. Pedro's is a good place to grab Mexican FAST food on the go. EVEN with the current rate of inflation this place is a little higher than other local shops. In my opinion they've got a good breakfast burrito and other good items that I'll buy a few times a month. The carne asada meat is not good. It has been like that for a long time. I normally get a bean and cheese and add scrambled egg. Those are very fine. I decided to retry the Carne Asada again and it was a mistake. Poor grade meat, dried out. Pedro's, please spend a little more money on better quality meat that is not dried out and the place will rock. The staff is always nice and the food is made in a timely manner. Not cool Pedro's! We have been loyal customers for over 30 years...since San Clemente was the only location! But this Fallbrook spot consistently gets orders wrong. Tonight we placed an order totalling over 50$, got home and found a taco missing. No biggie, right? I called and they said they would make it right. Sent someone to the store to pick it up. She waited in line to have the employee insist "no. I put that in the bag!" So she had to pay AGAIN for the same taco. Unfortunately, nickel and diming your customers over a 3 dollar taco will lose some loyalty. What happened to the customer being right? read more

I was wondering why dudes were only ordering one to two fish tacos haha I thought they were just weak sauce, but they just knew what was up. I got three and almost didn't even finish. I got the shrimp, potato, and fish taco. One of the biggest fish tacos I've had so far (or just "street" taco in general) and worth the money. They give a lot of cabbage which I personally love. I've been going to the original shop up in San Clemente since they opened and was extremely happy when they opened this one in Fallbrook which is significantly closer to me. But would it be the same quality I've come to expect from the original store? The answer is... it is just as good as the original store! I am a huge fan of their carne asada burrito and for me, I have never had better.... ANYWHERE. I am also a huge fan of their bean and cheese burritos. The prices and service at Pedro's is perfect. Quick drive thru or walk up window but no seats for dining. This is in keeping with their simplicity and keeps their prices low. I read one bad review and the person said "no hot sauce". I've never been to any of the Pedro's Tacos and not gotten hot sauce so I'm not sure what that person was talking about. If you are EVER anywhere near a Pedro's Tacos (and there are several) I can't emphasize strongly enough to give it a try and please try the Carne Asada burrito! read more

I love a good Mex dive close to home. Ive been to the best South of the border 10 tacos for a buck dives. Ive had fresh caught shark tacos on the beach in Ensenada. However, I understand how much more expensive it is to do business in North County but you can't get a pass on the quality. Second time eating here and today I decided to try the "potato taco". I was disappointed finding out it's just a hash brown,shredded cabbage and a sauce. It was pretty bland with no real flavor.
